327. Say Goodbye To The Villa

The coincidence was too good to be true. Heidi never knew she possessed psychic powers.

“Lucas Harrison…” she narrowed her eyes on him. “If the GK Group was in crisis, why didn't I see it in the news?”

“Hey, Heidi, would you like to go out?” Instead of answering her question, he changed the topic, giving her a doting look.

Heidi knew he did it intentionally. Was Lucas lying to her?

“You haven't answered my question yet.” She frowned.

Lucas dropped his spoon and stood up. He circled the table to her side and made her stand up by placing both hands on her shoulders.

“Believe my words. I never keep in touch with Tracy.”

As if he was aware of her fears or maybe he could read her mind.

Was she so obvious? Heidi didn't want to seem off as jealous or even bothered about Tracy.

“How should I be sure that you're not lying?”

But the question slipped out, making her uncertainty and insecurity more obvious.

It brought a smile to the man's lips, a sign that he was proud he'd won over her
