Morgan's POV;

My father. Right there.

He was standing there and next thing, he was walking towards me and the guards holding me. One of them moved in front of me as Dante reached to take me away from them. But he just shoved the guards aside.

"Hey." The guard grabbed Dante's collar, turning him. To which Dante responded with a kick to his stomach. The other one cursed at him before moving to hit him from behind.

"Coward." Dante spat, throwing him over his shoulder right on top of the first one that had tried to cause a scene which had already been caused because most people in the school already had their phones out of videoing he whole thing. "Are you alright?" He asked walking towards me. But that wasn't my concern. I looked around, looking for the guard that held my kids only to find him rushing outside with them.

I ran after him but he was faster, rushing them into a car while they trashed against him. "Mommy!" The were both yelling with Miranda already in tears. He got into th

    Dante's POVI watched the huge gate that housed the Rosewood Family Estate, and an uneasy feeling descended over me. Dark and ominous , it gave of dark vibes. It had been a tough choice, but I had followed Morgan not knowing that she was headed here.I had decided to park a safe but not too far distance from the estate watching to see when she'd walk out. I sighed as I leaned into my seat aware that Ronald's eyes were on me. I turned my head to him, shooting him a glare. "Are you going in or not?" He nudged his head towards the gate. "I'm not." I replied. "I don't want to." More like I shouldn't. I couldn't. If I stepped into that Estate now, and it was that Morgan was having a conversation with her dad and they saw, she'd know that I had been following her. And her dad in the other had might have a different understanding concerning whatever scene that would play out in front of him. But Ronald doesn't need to know that. Besides, Morgan had already pushed me away countless times

    Morgan's POVShivers wracked my entire body. I couldn't stop sneezing. Long after Winston has arrived and taken me home, drawn a hot bath which I soaked in for thirty minutes, I was still shivering from the rain."You didn't have to take the day..." I sneezed the loudest I had ever today. When I opened my eyes, I had sneezed on his face. "I'm..." I picked up the towel he had been using in my forehead, squeezed out some of the water and began wiping his face. "I'm so sorry." He looks at me with a raised brow, blinked and took the towel from my hands. "This is exactly why I had to take the day off Morgan. You have a cold. And not only that, you're running a temperature.""You're a doctor. You have patients that need you more than I do." "Yes what is true. I have other doctors as skilled as me at the hospital. They can manage without me for a few days.""A few days?" I asked with wide eyes. He couldn't take a few days off because of some flimsy cold I caught. He was a busy doctor. And

    Morgan's POV"You're home early." I said to Winston as soon as he stepped through the door. "And you're right where I left you." He said with a smile which I returned generously, walking towards me and placing his bag on the table at the centre of the sitting room before placing a hand on my forehead. I didn't tear my eyes away from his face as he checks to see if my fever still persisted. He ducked in a breath before barely sitting on the couch. "You're getting..." He paused before saying. "Your fever still has a hold on you." He finished. "Did you take the pills and the syrup?" I nodded. Still not tearing my gaze from him.Why had he come home early? "I hope you didn't have to come home early because of me." He chuckled. "And if I happened to?" I as about to straighten myself when he helped raise me up, resting me gently on the backrest of the couch. "I have a week's leave. " "You're the boss.""And my employees and myself deemed it fit to take a leave..." He paused. "And before

    UNKNOWN POV"I must say... Your brains are most definitely mine." She chuckled, hugging both the man and the lady. They looked at each other, grinning widely. "The apple doesn't fall far from a tree, does it?" The woman said."I'm proud of you two." She said, hugging them tightly before letting them go. "I never thought you'd be so close to destroying Rosewood in such a small amount of time."The man spoke this time, placing a hand on both of their shoulders. "We wouldn't have been able to get it to this level without your help, mother. You were the light we followed. The light that will lead us out of this dark tunnel Rosewood has locked us in for a long time.""We wouldn't have done it without you mum." The lady said, coming to stand beside her brother. Their mum smiled, but soon the smile vanished, her son dropping his hands from her shoulder. "So what's the next move?" She asked, sipping from her glass."Morgan is already out of the way..." Morgan's POV: "It's lovely." I gushed staring at the magical chandeliers wavering directly above giving the room an additive red tint amongst the other gold chandeliers. Our seat was at the window directly facing the entrance of the VIP suite that held ten tables of two. Specially for the best of the best. Winston pilled out a seat for me while sitting on the other one. The waitress's after taking our order, left to fetch it while I kept looking around in awe and surprise. "This is beautiful." I said for the umpteenth time. Winston smiled just as the waitress returned with our order before moving to another table to take theirs. It seemed like she was the one in charge of this suite. I took a bite of my food and nearly moaned. It was so delicious, flavours I hadn't expected burst on my tongue. "Wow, this is so good.""It's one of my favorite places to eat," Winston said. The waitress returned with a bottle of wine and served us some."Cheers," Winston raised his glass to mine. "F

    Morgan's POVHe smiled at me, and that smile had me feeling things. "Is anything the problem?""No, not at all! W-why would anything be wrong?"He brought his hand up to his face and touched his cheek. I couldn't help but notice his hands. I hadn't paid much attention before, but now it was like all my senses were heightened. His hands were really beautiful. He had long and slender fingers, and his hand was much larger than mine by comparison. I wonder how his hands will feel all over my skin and...Morgan! Come on!I grabbed the glass of water, and it was empty. "You're flushed," He said. "Is everything okay?"Ha! He has no idea the direction of my thoughts right now. "I think I'm having an aftermath from my previous cold.""An aftermath?" "I think I have a fever." He got up and walked over to my side. My eyes widened."W-what are you doing?"He bent down and touched my forehead. Sparks exploded from where his hand rested on my forehead. I looked up at him, and my heavens my mouth

    Morgan's POV:I found it difficult to breathe as I stared at Dante and my kids walking hand in hand towards the house. Miranda skipped around happily, her free hand holding a juice box which she drank from. Coke was asking Dante something, and he replied with a smile. I stumbled back from the window, my eyes turned to the door.A few minutes later, the doorbell rang out, making me jump. I stared at the door, and my heart thumped erratically in my chest. What do I do now? How...how did Dante get his hands on my kids? How was he able to bypass the surveillance my father had on them?Should I let him in? Or should I take my kids and slam the door in his face. The doorbell rang again. I could hear Miranda's excited squeal. "Is mommy here?" She asked."Yes dear, your mommy is here." The doorbell rang again. I gasped at the shrill sound. This is wrong, right? He shouldn't be here. This is Winston's house. Why would he....Did he know that Winston wasn't here?My phone began to ring. I to

    EIGHTEEN YEARS LATER. The chill in the air warned of approaching winter. The night sky was lifeless without a single star or the moon in sight. Silent, cold, like death. On the roof of a fifteen story building were two men, one younger and the other older. The younger man had his face hidden with a dark hood, but lifeless blue eyes peered out of the darkness. He had his arms folded, muscles bulging under his hood, his skin covered with scars, bullet holes, and tattoos. He had a handsome face, quite striking. But there was no emotion on that face. He watched the street below, the people who hurried about trying to get home before the storm came. The young man stood deathly still one would think he was a statue. "Do you understand your mission?" The older man asked in a gruff voice. He walked up to the younger man's side, making sure to keep a safe distance. "Yes." The younger man replied, coldly. "And please, don't bring in dead bodies. I need them alive, are we clear?" From a

Before his sister could reply, Dr. Shirley walked in, handing Winston a tablet. "It's still in position." She announced with a smile as Nova walked over to them. "What is that?" She asked."Well my dear sister," Winston said as he looked at the red flashing dot on the screen. "Four years ago, Morgan was Dr Shirley's patient. Morgan's POVSIX MONTHS LATER:I lowered the music blasting through my car radio as I tried to parallel park. "Morgan?!" Sabrina's voice came through the speaker. "Guess what I just saw?" I asked Sabrina on the phone as I made to park my car."What?""Listen and don't interrupt.""Okay..." From her voice, I knew she was confused but nevertheless, she'd figure it out. I cleared my throat and began to recite the headline I had just seen. "CEO Sabrina Emily Rosewood, tops the chart as the youngest CEO of Rosewood enterprises to top first three in profits, assets and company growth in less than seven months.""What the hell?" She burst out laughing. "Seriously... You shouldn't sing my praises like that. It's creepy.""I'm creepy." I said with a chuckle. I took my phone and purse and walked out of my car. • She's back   unethical practices

    Morgan's POVThe consistent ping ponging of the door bell shut me out of my haze of confusion and uncertainty. I stared at the screen of my television watching as the investigators were ceasing boxes an boxes of files from Winston's office as they announced that he had been arrested last night as an accomplice in my dad's murder. How was I supposed to take that? The man that I had lived with since I was disowned by my dad happened to have a hand in his murder. But I couldn't understand it at all. Nova killed my dad, while Winston was an accomplice. How and why? It didn't make sense. The ping-ponging continued, but it seemed too far away as I slipped back into the news. The news droned on saying the had been sent an anonymous tip and we're grateful to whoever it was."During the investigation," The anchor continued. "The police have discovered evidence of slush funds, unethical medical practices alongside malpractices and other law punishable offences that are yet to be discovered.

  • She's back   Winston and Sabrina

    Sabrina's POVI ended the call, feeling disgusted with myself. I had just lied. A lie that would come back to bite me in the ass. I hadn't told Morgan anything. Infact, I had told her that I wasn't hiding anything from her while I was hiding tons. And Winston, I wasn't looking into him one bit. I already knew everything. I had known everything since the reading of daddy's will. And here I was, going to his house as the sun was setting. By the time I got there, it was night. I rang the doorbell, and was ushered in by a butler with a smiley face as if he had been waiting for me to show up. I was led to Winston's study where he stood by the window, sipping from a glass of wine. He didn't turn nor acknowledge my presence until he had finished his glass of wine. "Does Morgan know you're here?" He finally said. His voice sending chills down my spine. "It's isn't proper of you to visit your sister's boyfriend in the dead of the night. " He turned to me with the most lifeless eyes I had e

    Dante's POVI rang her doorbell, shifting from one foot to another. Today, she wasn't going to push me away like before. I was going to make sure of that. The speed she used in opening the door told me that she was expecting someone. Was it Sabrina, or was it Winston? I prayed it wasn't Winston. The last thing I wanted was him him in Morgan's life. "Hey." She moved the door to shut it in my face when I blocked it with my leg. "I won't let you push me away today or ever again Morgan. ""I don't want to talk to you. I have nothing to say to you." We struggled against the door till I exhaled and poured it all out. "I know Morgan. I know. I've always know. " Her grasp loosened making me take advantage of the opportunity and opening the door "You know what?"I paused looking at her as she gasped for breath after our little struggle with the door. He said rubbing his hands together as I moved him to the sitting room and disappeared behind the doors of the kitchen, returning with a can of soda."Sit wherever you want." I said sitting down in front of him. "Right." He sat, staring around the house. "Explain yourself." I said."Explain what..?""You." I exhaled, adjusting myself and exhaling. He nodded, setting the can down in the table in front of us. "You must have a lot of questions." He said."I sure do. • She's back   Dad is gone

    Sabrina's POVThe stillness around the house was deafening. Morgan hadn't taken anything I had said seriously, and I couldn't blame her. I knew important things about her and didn't tell her about it. I had hurt her and even if she pushes me away when I try to make things right, I wouldn't be surprised. I deserved it. Including what the future held if I was ever to come completely clean and tell her the rest. I couldn't imagine–didn't want to imagine. It would be best for the both of us it I were to tell her the entirety of the truth, but she was still in shock about all that had happened. I couldn't add to that. My eyes drifted to the door, recalling how she had banged the door as she left, and how my mother had spoken to her. How could she be so insensitive? Did she really care for only daddy's will? Did she really love him?Morgan didn't deserve this sort of wickedness. From my mum or any other person. She had lost way too much for no reason and the last thing she needed was s
