Hades chuckled coldly in response. His expression gradually became grim.

Was Chelsey this eager to turn him and Alanna against each other?

Yves continued to frown. "Hades, this must be a trap."

Hades didn't say anything. He just turned to glance at the ward door, which was firmly shut.

Just as Yves was about to speak up, he saw Hades turning to leave. All Hades said was, "Knock on the door and tell them to come out."

Yves frowned while watching Hades walk away. A moment later, he went forward to knock on the door.

After opening the door, Alanna was surprised to see Yves there.

"Yves? What are you doing here?"

Yves wore a grim expression. "Alanna, can you come out for a bit? I need to talk to you about something?"

Alanna wanted to turn him down at first, but she could tell that Yves wasn't in a good mood. So, she nodded in response.

When she was about to close the door, she heard Yves adding, "Please tell Chelsey to come out too."

That made Alanna pause in her actions. Sudden
