Chapter 344

Hades stared after her, and a dull ache radiated throughout his chest.

He wanted to grab her and ask whether or not she harbored romantic feelings toward Travis when she didn't feel that way toward Hades.

But he decided against it. If he asked her about that, he'd only put himself in an awkward position.

He went over to her and kneeled with his back to her. "I won't carry you, but piggybacking shouldn't be a problem, right? With your speed, you'll run out of blood by the time you reach the hospital."

Alanna frowned. She had indeed felt that she had lost too much blood. Her body felt cold, and her head was spinning. Although Garrett didn't cut her artery, the blood didn't seem to stop flowing.

Frowning, she insisted, "I can go there on my own."

After leaving the alleyway, the hospital would only be a stone's throw away.
