Connor put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer and he started kissing me again. I turned to face him fully this time and I got up on my knees and put my arms around his neck. I started playing with the hem of his shirt and he finally grabbed his shirt and pulled it straight off over his head. I stood there staring at Connor and the rest of the pack as they were trying to figure out where the hell I had gone when I walked back through the barrier to where they were. It took me a while to try and get my bearings around the castle. Connor and I found our room on the top floor with an amazing view. There was nothing around for miles but trees and fields and it was a perfect picture for a pack of werewolves. I was standing on the balcony looking out at the view when Connor came out of the bathroom and he walked out to the balcony and put his arms around my waist, but leaned them against the railing. “I was looking around this place earlier. Apparently this room wasn’t the room of the King and Queen, but it was the room of their eldest child. It always has been.” Connor said. “Well, I guess that’s fitting. Isn’t it? I was well aware of Peyton’s presence around the castle and not being far from me. She was close but she wasn’t crowding me. She wasn’t trying to force herself near me, which I was more than grateful for. I didn’t want her near me. Connor and I traveled far enough away from the castle that no one would know where we were hiding out. When we got to a small town in the middle of nowhere, we went into a diner and the locals were watching us.
