CHAPTER 51

We ran through the woods faster than I thought possible. It was really good to let Elsa out like this. I just wish it was for another reason. But I was determined to get there, hoping that we were going to get there before the pack was attacked. But nothing is ever that simple.

We made it to the pack in record time but it was completely silent.

There was no one there. No one was around. Not a sound except for some crackling of the buildings that were on fire. We couldn’t find anyone in the pack except a few dead people that obviously put up a fight and lost.

We started checking every house. Every building. Even the packhouse. But there was no one to be found. At least, not alive.

“We’re too late.” I said.

“You must have gotten the vision while it was happening.” Connor said.

“What’s the point of getting these visions if I can’t do anything to stop it?” I asked, starting to feel my emotions bubbling to the surface.

“Calm down Aurora. You can lose it. Not yet.” Elsa warned
