Chapter 144: It’s All My Fault

Hanan watches a soap opera on tv and while doing so she will occasionally look at the cloak.

“Why is he not back yet” she said to know why in particular. It was already 9pm and David was not yet back from the office.

She looked around for her cell phone but could not find it. Now that she was thinking about it, she has not seen her real phone since she woke up from a coma. The phone she used when she was in Rome was a burner phone that she had later destroyed.

She decided to continue watching the soap opera so as not to fall asleep before David comes back.

After about an hour, David returned back to the hospital. Before he got into Hanan’s room he asked the guards if anyone came and they had told him that there was no one apart from her parents and Arya who was the last person to leave the room after visiting her.

David walked into the room after giving them view instructions. He walked to Hanan on the bed, he smiled when he saw her sleeping in a sitting position with the tv remote
