Chapter 107 (The last three days - 1)

I don't reply to anything to him and keep my eyes on the road. After a few seconds, I feel a slight touch on my hand as I look down. He holds my hand, looking sideways. I can't understand how to react to that since he isn't being too harsh. Still, I shove my hand politely and look outside again.

The cab passes the highway and stops near a market. It's pretty crowded and I don't think Adavan prefers such places. As I continue to look out of the window, he gets down and opens the door for me. I glance at him for once, stepping out of the cab.

"You must be hungry, no?", he asks me.

"No. I'm fine", I tell him. "Why did you bring me here, by the way?", I roll my eyes.

"Didn't you like the place? You love the lively environment, no?", he beams.

"Yeah", I mutter.

"Let's have a walk", he says, walking through the bridge as I walk near him. The place is full of noise. I wonder how he is being so considerate here.
