Chapter 65
Samantha sighed for she was sure that her reclusive brother must be in his cave as Sebastian loved to spend some time there for alone time—meaning that he needed to calm down his wolf for a while. It helped him to think and figure out any problems that might be stuck in his head since Sebastian was the acknowledged doctor of the Shadow Pack.
Even though Samantha didn’t know what Sebastian was thinking the whole time, she couldn’t say that her brother had been thinking about his mate for she didn’t smell anyone’s scent on him. Thus, she can only conclude that maybe it was something that was related to the pack—be it medical or law aspects of the problem.
After the lights had lit up the living room of their house, Samantha went to the window as she was looking outside. Her garnet eyes were wide, searching for any movement that triggered her earlier.
There was no movement among the darkened shrubbery as she exhaled a deep breath.
