Osain has run ahead to try and find a vehicle that we can… borrow. I fully INTEND to bring it back, whether or not that happens I don’t know, but we have no choice but use a vehicle. There is no way we could walk far, Callum is being helped by Zach, and Mandy, and Alex and I are basically carrying Austin.
Having been hog tied for goddess knows how long did a number on Cal’s legs, and he needs help supporting his weight right now, especially without being able to feel Theo. He doesn’t have the ability to heal quickly, so he will need help for a while. Austin though, I don’t know what’s going on with Austin. We haven’t been able to wake him.

Ashton POVShe’s home, I cannot believe she is home! After Alaina explained who the new people were I couldn’t be more grateful for them, or her parents for making the blood oath to begin with! Who would have thought that a blood oath made by her parents would end up saving her life. The biggest issue with blood oaths is that they are generally one generation oaths. There aren’t many done this day in age, but in the past, the oaths would be made, and because they have to protect the person they swore to until their last breath, the person that swears typically doesn’t live long enough to have pups. Now, not only does Alaina have one person with the blood oath, she also has his son, and presumably his grandchildren, protecting her she was just offered another one. My mate is going to be very protected, and that makes me happy. Knowing that even if I cannot be by her side 24/7, She will have Alex, Osain, and possibly Zach. It gives me a little solace.

Ashton POV Holy shat, I can’t believe this is happening, I never thought that I would be marking and mating with Alaina. I had hope, I prayed to Selene, but honestly, I never thought she would be ready. I especially thought that with everything that happened she would retreat back into herself like before, and fight me on the marking. I am in heaven right now, as I line myself up with her entrance. Selene's Chosen Queen Updating changes 06/19/2022
With the start of summer break coming in, and having kids, updates wont be as frequent, sorry. I will do my best to update as much as possible, and my hope is for twice a week over the end of June and through to the beginning of September. That being said... this book should be wrapping up soon. There will be a large break between this book and the prequels and sequels. I am going to write those to finality before I post them, then there will be absolutely no delay! That also being said I would LOVE to get feedback, the good, the bad, and the ugly. The more feedback that I get the better I can do in the future. Thank you :)

Alaina POV Going down to the kitchen in the morning I couldn’t help but try to hide my face behind my hair. Ash chuckles, stops moving, and lifts my chin to look at him. “Please don’t hide. I am very sorry, my updating has been remarkably slow, and that I have not kept to my own updating timeline. I over estimated how much time I was going to have this summer. Apparently having teen children actually gives you less time to yourself :). The other issue is that I lost several chapters in a power outage, you would think that I would learn... but NOPE! Definition of insanity right here, dont save my work then get upset when it's not there later LOL. I will update as much as I can though, and maybe get a couple days tomyself to do a massive writing blitz.

Ashton POV I am beyond thankful that Austin is ok, I don’t know what I would do without him. Alaina walking in and calling him Tin Tin though, where the h3ll did that come from?
