Getting back to the packhouse I realize that the pack has gone into panic mode. I don’t mean in the sense that people are running around screaming, I mean in the running around trying to get supplies put together, packing vehicles, saying good bye to loved ones, some of our elders have pulled all the books they can out of our library to see what we have on the packs near Vulcan, or any other information that might be needed.

I rush up to my office, knowing that the only thing I can do right now is map the fastest way to get there and create a battle plan, when the phone rings. On its fourth or fifth ring I figure that Ash is not going to answer so I do.

                “Hello?”

                “May I speak to Alpha Ashton Lupin please.”
