CHAPTER 1

"Gosh! You're so stubborn!" I grinned as I clung my arm with her. 

"Stubbornly beautiful!" I added and let out a humorous laugh. She shook her head, probably having enough of my shits today.

"You stink, Eula.." I said. We stopped walking as she sniffed herself. Her face turned sour as she threw a death glare at me. I just shrugged my shoulders innocently and drag myself along with her.

"I'm never gonna enter your car, I swear!" She exclaimed in annoyance. I ignored her and just wandered my eyes around. Their school is huge, and when I said huge, it means really really huge. I wonder how much money did they spent to build this place. There's a huge fountain surrounded by two statues. 

I can't help but notice the weird stares I've been receiving since I entered here.

"Hey." I poked Eula.

"What?" She answered in an irritated manner. 

"Why are they staring at me?" I asked. She stopped and slapped her forehead like she forgot something.

"Because you look stupid, that's why." I threw her a glare after she uttered those words.

"Well, you're just walking with the Council's Secretary." She said boastfully.

"Yeah? And what's the big deal?" I asked, now curious about it.

"Big deal? Big deal? I'm the big deal, Eula!" She rolled her eyes at me as she continued explaining.

"If anything the students feared, it's the council, Florence," she said seriously. And while staring at her, I realized how different she looked when we entered here. 

"Why is that?" 

"Because the council has the authority to punish anyone who breaks the law of the school, Florence. Even if it leads them to death." She uttered which brought me chills.

"A-ah hahaha, why do you have to look intimidating?" huhuhu I hope she won't punish me or what! Aigoooo! If ever that happens, I'm so dead!

"Because...

...I'm going to punish someone today." She said with an evil grin. I gulped nervously as I looked at her.

"Uhm.. u-uh I think I n-need to go to the bathroom? h-hehe-" I was about to run when she caught the back of my collar and dragged me along with her.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"You still have to come with me, I'm going to punish that blonde boy." She said and pointed at a bunch of males who are bullying someone.

"O-okay!" phew... I thought she was pertaining to me.

"Why do you look nervous? Hmm.." she glanced at me and smirked. 

"Nothing! M-me? Nervous? Of what? That will never happen! I wasn't even nervous when racing so why would I be nervous because of your presence?" I huffed after that.

"I didn't say anything, why so defensive, Florence?" She laughed out loud which attracts attention from the students. I pat her head using my fist which stopped her. 

"Ya! That hurts!" She pouted and marched forward, leaving me behind.

"Hey! Eula babe! Wait for me!" I shouted. She stopped and looked at me with widened eyes.

"You! Argh!" I just laughed my ass off and continued walking behind her. We stopped when we reached the bunch of stupid creatures she's referring to.

"Hey airheads, if you want to show off, you can just ask me to fight you." She said coldly. All heads turned towards us. Their eyes widened upon seeing her. Is she really that scary?

"S-secretary.."

"Eula's here!"

"M-ma'am Eula, what are you doing here?" Series of whispers and murmurs were heard. I looked at the boy who's badly bruised and beaten up. I went to him while Eula took care of those men.

"Hey weakling, can you stand up?" I asked. He looked at me with cold eyes before standing.

"I'm not a weakling, it was just an act, stupid." My mouth fell open when he walked casually. Like he doesn't have a single wound.

"What the hell?! That man was just acting! And he even has the guts to call me stupid!" I complained while walking with Eula.

"That's odd.. did you see his face?"

"Yes! He looks stupid and foolish and stupid and arrrgh!" 

We reached the main office she's talking about. I was immediately greeted by the cold air coming from the air-conditioned room.

"Uh, I apologize for my tardiness. Good afternoon, this is Secretary Eula Mendez." She greeted. I noticed that they're all wearing formal attire. One of the men in a tux approached us. He has messy hair and damn, he looks so fine.

"Hey, Eula babe! Where were you? Be thankful the Supreme isn't here yet or else you're dead." Eula's brows shot up as she shoved the boy irritatedly.

"Can you please stop calling me that?!" She exclaimed. I rolled my eyes when I saw her cheeks reddened like a freakin' tomato.

"Your actions say otherwise, Eula. Stop denying me, please?" The guy looked at her with pleading eyes.

"Okay! I've had enough of this drama! Eula, you wouldn't mind introducing me, would you?" I asked sarcastically. Her mouth formed an 'O' shape as she cleared her throat.

"Sorry, I forgot." She did a peace sign and turned her heads towards the people sitting in front of a large wooden table. Geez, it's so cold.

"Uhm attention please, this is Florence Mil, a newly recruited member for the upcoming annual suicide cup event." They all just nodded at me, few smiled but most of them don't give a damn.

"You didn't tell me they are this rude. Geez, creeps." I mumbled. Her eyes widened as she immediately covered my mouth.

"What the hell? Do you wanna die?" She asked in a nervous tone while looking around.

"Yeah? Is it prohibited, to tell the truth too?" I removed her hands from my mouth and grinned.

"You promised, Florence." My smile vanished because of that.

"Fine, sorry I forgot." I raised both of my hands as a sign of defeat. She just sighed and nodded.

"The Supreme Council Student is here!" A guy announced, making us all look in one direction, to the door.
