"WHAT!.......
" I can't cheat on you and you of all people know that and besides, you ask too many questions. We need to leave before those warriors see us……" Robin pleaded.
"I am asking too many questions that I noticed you cheating on me with that witch that you called friend……" she half yelled angrily at him. Robin ruffles his hair in frustration as he watches his wife blabbering non-stop.
"Then if you weren't cheating on me, what is the connection between you two? And why should a necklace be the symbol of your connection with her?" She questioned as her eyebrow perked up in confusion.
Turning to face her, his once hardened and angry face softens as he stares at his wife. "The glint of the necklace is what signifies that she was now aware that we were close to her place and she needed to come out of the water to lead us to the crucial place," he explained.
"Fine….. I will just trust you on this one," she murmured. Smiling as he tried guiding his wife on how to jump on the water, he felt footsteps behind them.
"NOW JUMP!!......" He screamed as he forcefully pushed his wife inside the water.
"Ahh….." Susan screamed with nervousness as she felt herself falling deep into the water.
"ROBIN!!!!" She wailed noticing that her husband tried fighting the warriors to stop them from coming after his wife and their unborn child. She watched with terror and panic as the warriors pierced a sharp silver blade into his heart, forcefully pulling the knife Robin fell with blood sprinkling the whole place like a loosely opened tap water.
"No!!!....." That was her last cry before she felt herself dipped into the water, she felt herself suffocating as she entered deep inside the water. Struggling to free herself out of the water, the necklace on her neck glows. The more she battled to free herself the more the necklace glowed and lit inside the water and before she knew it there was a tremendous sound inside the water scaring her. Nervously holding her belly, the water was seen strongly pulling her to somewhere else. She felt the weight of the water strongly hauling her to another place more like the depth of the water. She couldn't scream nor fight, the death of her mate weighed her down and shattered her into pieces but her only hope was her unborn child inside her stomach.
Trying to give up, remembering her baby makes her strongly force her eyelid open. She couldn't give up not now that she had lost her husband and she knew that giving up and allowing her fear to get the best of her won't make her husband proud of her. She knew that the baby is the only thing keeping her alive, and she wasn't ready to lose her pup.
Tears trail down her cheeks as her husband's death flooded her mind and thoughts, sobbing hard her tears got mixed with water. Her husband died when trying to save her and the baby, she sees it as her fault for if she hadn't delayed him by asking unnecessary questions this couldn't have happened. Her husband couldn't have died, the warriors couldn't have killed her husband.
Gradually moving deep into the water, she allowed darkness to take over since she couldn't fight back the pain in her heart which seemed much for her to bear. She felt an empty hole inside her and she knew that her husband has died, the only man that has ever loved and cared for her has finally been wiped out of the earth's surface, the only man that has loyally stayed with her despite her not being able to conceive a pup for a long time since after their marriage. Sinking deeply into the water, she closed her eyes and allowed the water to effortlessly pull her away.
Noticing a liquid substance in between her legs, she felt something pressing her vagina like it was trying to force itself out of her vagina. It was painful for her to bear, causing her to snap herself back to reality.
"Ahh……!!" She painfully screamed, not caring to check where she was lying. The pain was much for her to notice her surroundings but all she knows is that she was no longer inside the water.
"Ahh…..!!!!" Screaming as she tried forcing the stuff out of her vagina, she noticed the door hurriedly yanked open by a woman in her sixties rushing inside the room toward her with panic.
"Hey, calm down, first," placing her hands in between her legs to widen her leg, the woman said to her with a calm tone.
"Ahh……!!!" Ignoring the woman as the pain was too much for her, she tried closing her legs to lessen the pain but the woman squatted her hands away and slowly widened her legs.
"Breath, first, this is your baby's head that is coming out….." The woman mumbled to her with a tender tone.
"My ba…by but it is painful," Susan cried out.
"Calm down, just quietly push," the woman guided her.
"Ahhh……!!!
" Huh…..!!!!!
"Hmmm……!!" Susan screamed in pain, with a heavy breath as she tried pushing the baby. She knew that childbirth is always painful but she never knew that it would be this painful and draining.
"I curse you, Marcus!" She sadly exclaimed as more tears rolled down her cheeks. Biting her mouth she let out a sob, she looked weak and wasn't sure if she could still have the strength to push the baby.
"Come on, you are almost there….. Just a little more push and the baby will be out," the old woman delightfully uttered.
Wiggling her head at the woman, she cried out. She doesn't have any more strength to push the baby out, she is weak, devastated, and overwhelmed with pain to move around or to even push any baby out of her vagina. She felt empty as the death of her husband was killing her within, she was heartbroken and sad to even think straight.
"No…..!!!" She cried out loud as an unexpected strength overwhelmed her and she pushed out the baby.
"Yes…." The old woman applauded as she slowly wrapped the baby around her palms, breathing heavily. Susan watched as her baby let out a cry.
"Is a baby girl," the woman cheerfully announced.
Susan's smile widened at the news but her breath got hitched in her throat as something glinted on her baby's neck, she and the woman watched in utter disbelief as a moon mark reflected on her child's neck. The Mark on her neck glows and lits the whole place, Susan's heartthrob as she stares at her baby despite the mark being intruding to look at but Susan knew better than the life of her daughter was in danger and that she is the one that the moon goddess has honored to bring down the angry demon Marcus.
"A great one has been born!
" The one that the fate of the supernatural lies in her palms!"
"Long live the young and amazing soul!"
Lifting the child a bit up with her head cast down, the old woman chanted in a language that Susan couldn't get. The more she chants in an odd language the baby wails and before they knew it the room brightens as moonlight penetrates inside the room through a small opening in the wall blinking on the child's face. The more the light reflects on the child, the more the moon mark on her neck gleams. After some time the light dimmed and the room returned to the normal position and color with the baby innocently sleeping.
"Who are you?" Susan managed to voice the word out of her mouth.
"I am the daughter of Amber," the woman replied.
"AMBER!!" Susan shrank in confusion, "Amber the great witch, so she has a daughter?"
"Yes…." She retorted.
"Then how did you find me?" Susan questioned.
"I gave your husband a necklace to bring you two safely here when he came rushing to me for help……. His cry melted my heart and I decided to help though it is sad news that he couldn't make it," she muttered sadly.
"How did he find you?" Susan asked as she needed to know the person that she will be leaving her daughter in her care since she is weak and not sure if she could make it alive in the next thirty minutes.
"Fate brought us together……. The moon goddess always has her way, she knew that you were carrying the supposed child and I am the only one that could help and that's why our paths crossed," she explained.
"Please I have longed to have a child of mine for a long time and having one now is a thing of joy to me……. I have always wanted to know what childbirth feels like but now that I have experienced everything it doesn't make me any happy rather it weighed me down to see my only child. The only daughter of mine, that her life was in danger,"
"I regret bringing her to this world! She is too young and weak to face Marcus….." Susan cried out.
"Don't underestimate the power of the moon goddess," the woman warned.
"Please just do me a favor," Susan pleaded.
"I know that moon goddess has a good reason but I am scared of losing my child," she sobbed.
"You won't lose her, rather she will be a conqueror and will bring peace to the supernatural……" the old woman assures her.
"She looked beautiful…." Smiling Susan muttered, "Therefore I will name her Selena…."
Immediately the name slipped out of her mouth, the mark on the baby's neck sparkled brightly as a tender smile curled up her lips.
"Please take good care of her for me…. And tell her how much her parents love her and care for her," Susan pleaded as her face turned sour due to the pain that she was passing through.
"I will……" the old woman promised.
Kissing her daughter's forehead, she closed her eyes and allowed death to take over but not without giving the daughter and the woman a small smile. Immediately her mother gave up and died, Selena let out a hurtful cry as the tremendous wind strongly hit the house. The woman wrapped her around her as she used a white cloth to cover up the mother, instructing her house maidens to move the corpse to the supposed place. She stood up with the baby in her arms and exited the place without turning back.
"I am your wolf…… your wolf…… " But I will appear to you…………at the right time! Right time! Sleepily turning to the other side of the bed, she heard another voice but this time the voice was more intruding, enchanting, and tender. "Who are you?" She barely muttered as she felt someone appear in front of her, she could feel the presence but she couldn't see the person clearly as the figure was covered with clouds and it felt burly for her to see the clear image. "I….I….. Am….your maker…….your maker…..so do not fear! Do not fear! " Your mission……on……this……on this earth……is……closer……than….you……expected…..expected "I…… will…..guide…….you…….to……the……rightful……person……person……… "Your…..half……is…….being……held, held……captive…….captive……and……him. I….. I mean only him…..will……help you to conquer……and smash……the demon……god! god! " What…..are you talking about?" The word trembled fearfully out of her lips. "Come….my……child, Selena…….made from…. with my……body and…..flesh, COME! " HOW DO Y
"I will start from your real identity, I will begin with who you truly were……" Ashley declared. "What are you talking about? I know my true self…… I know who I am," Selena drawled with a confused brow. Wiggins her head, Ashley grimaced as she glanced around before focusing her attention back on her "Then who are you?" Selena stared at her as if she had just lost it, "I am an ordinary human orphan……" she muttered the last word with pain and sadness. "You are not a human but a werewolf…." Ashley stared at her for some minute before she announced her identity to her, Selena gazed bewilderingly at her before she rolled into a loud laugh but her actions didn't budge Ashley. She waited in anticipation for Selena's action, she wanted to know how she would be able to handle the truth. "You know what….. I have never pictured you as a comedian because it will never fix you but today you sound like one," Amidst her laugh, Selena expressed. "You supposed to know when I am serious," Ashley sa
"Because of his egotism and avarice," Ashley mumbled. She gazes at Selena, she knows that Selena doesn't know what is in for her, but she hopes that she will be strong enough to face him. "A voracious and ravenous god!" Selena loudly muttered. "Yes! He is a piggish god who enslaved his people….because we were living more like slaves," Ashley spits horribly. "But what does he have to do with the peace of the supernatural realm?" Selena asked with difficulty. "But why all this? It isn't like they were the ones that sent him out of the macrocosm," She says. "So what is the solution to all these things now!" "The moon goddess has seen everything and took it upon herself to create a young she-wolf whose fate in the supernatural domain lies on her palms……." "Wow! That's great news but why is the chosen one hesitating to strike?" Selena glanced at them with delightful eyes. "The chosen one is no other but you, Selena…" Ashley proclaimed. "What!..... What a crazy idea," jerking up fr
Selena Running out of my already ruined home to calm down my head a bit, my head is spinning and it feels like the world is swiveling around me. I have run more than my legs could carry me but I kept pushing despite the pain around my knee and below my abdomen. The air feels like I am suffocating in it, the atmosphere seems dull to me. I know that my once quiet lifestyle is now over, that sooner or later that I will meet Marcus Verne. I still can't wrap that I am a werewolf around my small head, Marcus Verne from what they told me is very powerful and dangerous. How could a girl like me with no strength or power be able to stop him? Where should I start? Why should the moon goddess choose me? Clasping my grip around the bark of the tree, I bent down to catch my breath. I don't think that I would want to go back there because I still don't know how to face them. The idea of turning into an animal scares me and weighs me down, I have read a lot of books about werewolves and supernatur
After days without the sight of Selena, Liam couldn't handle the news about Selena's disappearance. He hasn't been himself, he surely misses his childhood friend more like a sister to him. Swirling uncomfortably around his bed since he couldn't get any glimpse of sleep, he angrily strutted towards his mother's chamber. Without knocking or even making his presence known he bashed into Ashley's cavity. "Why didn't you knock?" With her back facing him, she questioned. "Have you heard from her?" Ignoring her question, he asked. "I asked you a question, Liam!" "Have you seen her or know where she could be?" He rebuffed her. "LIAM!" "Fine! Fine! …… I am sorry for bashing into your room but…." He paused. Staring at his mother, he pleaded "But I need to know where she is," "She will be ok," Ashley assured him. "Just ok….." Liam repeated with confusion. "How can she be ok when we don't even know her way about?" He asked with his eyebrow furrowing up in confusion. "The information
"Mom, she seemed weak and for some days since her return, she hasn't spoken…. She has been tight-lipped and her sudden behavior scares me," Liam complains. "I thanked the cosmos for enabling us to be able to find her," Ashley relishes before veering around to meet her son. Resting her two hands on his shoulder, she kneads them before muttering "She is still confused and doesn't know what to do….." "Then that means that we are going to give her more time," Liam said with expectation. Wriggling her head, she smiles sadly before looking her son dead in the eye "There is no more time……. She needs to start training before Marcus gets any information about her," Lowering his head, he looks triumphed over. Ashley rubs his shoulder to assure him that she is here with him. "Is alright, I understand how you feel….." "What next?" Mustering some courage, he asked. A smile escaped through Ashley's lips "Good!" She commented. "But first we need to take her to the twelve circles of the witches…
The massacre of the newly born pups has ended as the news of the moon goddess has gradually faded away, but still, that doesn't make the supernatural domain at peace for there is still pain, and agony echoing in the land since every single soul was still living in fear and with tension. "Tick…tick," tapping his hand on the table as he sips his drink, Marcus signed deeply. What is still keeping him from having the whole world under him? This is the question that kept repeating itself over and over in his head, he had almost overthrown the whole of the supernatural domain but still, he felt like he needed something which he is yet to understand. Still, in his thoughts, the door was pulled open revealing his beta more like his best friend Reagan. Striding towards him, he pulled out a chair and sat down. "What's going on, you called?" He asked. Letting out a deep sigh, Marcus mumbled "Have you heard about the twelve circles of Witches…..?" "Yes! Of course who hasn't heard about the mys
"I….I have a woman that can lead you to the female she-wolf," she muttered, capturing his attention. "Who?" With curiosity, he asked. Slowly lifting her head, she glanced at their faces one after another before she nervously muttered with quivering lips. "My mother………. " Your mother!" They both reiterate. "Yes, she is good at tracking down people," she smiley mumbled. "Can you direct us to her, I need to pay her a visit," he demands. "Now!" She seemed aghast. "Yes! And enough questions," he said impatiently. Signaling them to come closer to her, she started murmuring some strange words. With a colder expression Marcus kept staring at her as she mumbled some odd words, a bizarre wind swirls around them and before they knew it, they were inside a dark cave still, that doesn't even budge Marcus. He motioned for Ariana to lead the way. She complied instantly and started leading them deeper inside the dark scary cave. The blue crystal balls chipped and engraved on the walls gleame
Davis's Pov: It was a fateful morning, the morning sun had just come out. Opening the window, I stared out at our pack premises. The atmosphere seems refreshing and pleasant, though my heart and wolf have been restless because of today. Today is D day, the day that we were to go into the human world to hunt the mystery girl and hurl her to my father. The mighty and vicious god Marcus Verne, I inhaled sharply before closing back the window. "Come in," with a tone as cold as an ice, I abruptly replied to whoever that is at the door. "Greetings!!" Walking inside was one of the pack's witches. "Yes, how do I help you?" I mumbled with a hard tone, sending chills down his spine. "I am….. here because….. " We came early, right?" The witch's word was interrupted as Carter and my sister walked in. Noticing the atmosphere and the person in the room, their eyes widened just as I expected. "Now, go on," I motioned for the witch to continue. "I was sent by your father, the great Alpha and m
Selena's Pov: "So tell me where do we go from here?" with an indistinct frown settled in between my brow, I asked Ariana. "Ooh! About that….. Do not bother, I have everything in control," she says. "I don't get it! This place……… " Aren't you hungry, Selena," she cuts in before I could say a word. "Huh……" I said with sarcasm. "Hmm, suit yourself," she smiled before moving to where Liam was standing. I coldly glared at her, I still can't trust this girl. I knew that she intentionally threw the map and was acting up. I still don't know what she intends to do with those lies of hers. Did she throw the map to get to me because of how hard and cold I have been to her? Is she intentionally doing all this? No way……. I don't think so, I feel like she isn't a good omen. That girl is skeptical but Liam isn't having any of those, only if he could see things with me. I believe the map couldn't have been lost. I let out a deep sigh and walked toward where they were sitting. Inching closer, I
Davis's Pov: Tossing a paper curled in a ball form in my palms, I pondered on the mission that I was being set by my father. I have never let him down and I didn't plan on doing so. He is a scary man that doesn't know or care how others are feeling. Failing him might make his trust or the love he has for me vanish, only if he has any. I can't fight him so I have decided to help him out. He is a strong man that nobody, I mean nobody could defeat. He kills with no mercy be it whosoever, and I am not ready to fall into his black book. Yes! You can call me a coward or whatever but I can't put my life for the people that care nothing for me, all see me as my father, and no matter what I do they will never love me. "What are you thinking?" Carter asked from behind. I jerked up as I wasn't expecting him. "Why are you jumping?" With tight lips, he asked as he struggled to suppress his laugh. "Hey!....." I called "How could you walk in here without knocking startling me?" Rolling my eyes,
Ariana's pov: "Hey……" I called. Liam turned to face me. "Aren't you two tired, we have been walking all day," I complained. "We just need to find somewhere and stay," he mumbled. I watched as Selena averted her attention elsewhere, something seemed strange about her. I know she is not just a human, I can feel her aura but I can't place my finger on which breed she came from. I hate her, she is too beautiful, strong, smart, observant, and cold towards me. So I have all the reason on this planet to hate her, she acts like she is the best when clearly, she is nothing but a fly. I deluded them and pretended that I was lost though I feel like she could see through my lies. I am not scared because Liam is here to back me up. Poor lover boy! I let out a mocking laugh within. I know witches when I see them, I know that he is a witch though I don't know the coven he came from I can grasp him. I was sent to go fetch that pathetic girl who has the power of destroying the twelve witches to sav
Selena Sitting with my head leaning on the bark of the tree, I watched with anger how lovely and Dovey Liam has become within a minute. His behavior annoys the shit out of me, I know that I have no right on who he wants to entangle himself with but still, it annoys me because something seems off about the so-called girl. I don't know what it is but my mind and instinct never lie to me, something doesn't seem right about her. The most annoying part was that Liam had forgotten our reasons for coming here in the first place, he didn't even spend time with me. All he knows about is this little girl, fine! She is not little because we are almost the same size and even the same age but still I didn't like her. She claimed that she was lost, and the reasons behind her being lost are what we still don't know. I can't believe that Liam can fall for those cheap lies, how cheekily! I don't know why but my attitude towards her has been cold and tough, even when I tried to sound nice my words d
Liam I know that Selena is not that okay with the turn of events, who is even going to be happy about the whole issue? Though I am glad how fast she is fucking adjusting to the new change, she is strong, pretty, and observant. I love her fierce side but I seriously miss her playful and innocent side and I am not sure that I would be able to see that side again. She is now a tough and not easy-going person, to be honest, I sometimes get afraid of her…. I let out a small laugh before I continued striding deeper into the woods, I needed to get water to fill our jelly can. Moving into the woods, almost to the water. I heard a faint cry, my ears perked up as I slowly turned around. Using my eyes I scanned the place before they landed on a tiny creature. I was stunned and for some minutes I forgot myself before her amazing voice snapped me out of my dazed state. "Are you going to continue standing there for long," "Aren't you going to help me out," she yelled from afar. "Uhmm…..why not,
Selena It has been seven fucking days and I have realized that no matter what I do I couldn't change the fact or my reason for coming into existence. Their life and fate depend on me, their calls and cries wounds and break my heart each fucking day and I know that they need me. They seriously need me and I am not going to let them down not this time around. I have come to accept my cross and I am more than ready to face that fierce and vicious god Marcus Verne. "Which way do we follow now?" Liam muttered as we strode deeper into the woods. "I don't know and besides we have been walking for days……. I think we need some rest," I grumbled. My leg and knee joints are paining me like mad, we have been walking through these woods for days now without getting any twinkle of sleep. I have been trained and taught everything that I needed to know about marital skills and with Liam being a great witch and beside me, I know that I am going to come out victorious. "Maybe we should rest here th
Selena "Ahhh…..!!!" I instantly shut my eyes as the sunshine flashed on my face as soon the door was pulled open. "Wow!" Ashley shrinks in surprise as she bewilderedly gaped with her mouth hanging open. Blinking, I tried to adjust my eye to the surroundings. "This place is goddamn beautiful!" Liam exclaimed. I forced my eyes open as my breath got caught in my throat, I stared at my surroundings. The place looked breathtaking and inviting, and before we knew we started walking outside. It is a garden with a waterfall. I watched with utter disbelief as the birds chanted and fled around. Suddenly the birds flee toward me and place flowers decorated in the form of a crown on top of my head. I gaped as Ashley gave me a small smile. "Welcome, great one!" The voice startled us, causing us to freeze at our spot. "We have been waiting for your visit for a long time, great one!" Turning around, my eyes gleamed in surprise and panic. I felt stunned as we all stared at the twelve young wom
Selena Opening my eyes I found myself standing in front of an abandoned and discarded house, I unhurriedly stared around the place with uneasiness and nervousness. "We are here?" Ashley announced with satisfaction. "Let me guess…… this place is goddamn far, right?" Liam questioned as he looked around him. "Yes!" Ashley answered with a huge smile across her lips. "Then how did you find out about their way about because it is not disclosed to anybody outside their circle?" Ignoring my presence, Liam asked. I couldn't do anything but eavesdrop on their conversation. Since I couldn't do anything, all I planned was to be focused and gather all the information I could if I ever wanted to succeed on this mission. "I couldn't have found out about their way about despite me being the daughter of the founder without the help of Selena," Ashley's words startled me. I stared at her with shock and awe, I quietly peeked at myself from head to toe to be sure who they were talking about. The way
