ALISTAIR:
A smirk played on my lips as her cheeks reddened with embarrassment. Even though she couldn't bring herself to admit it, I sensed a hint of relief in her. As I wrapped the coat around her, I gently released my hold on her waist, but she remained still.
I raised an eyebrow, taken aback by her unexpected reaction. I had anticipated a punch coming my way, but it never came. Instead, her gaze bore into mine, as if trying to peer into my soul. Initially, she appeared lost, but suddenly, anger replaced her confusion, and before I could react...
*Slap!*
A sharp sting coursed through me from the impact of her slap. As I looked at her, all I could think was how remarkably bold and audacious she was. It wasn't annoyance that I felt; on the contrary, I was intrigued and fascinated. Throughout my life, I had been treated like royalty, and almost everyone had feared me, doing everything to stay on my good side. Yet, this stranger was an exception.
"What was that for?" I complained, but she simply glared at me.
"Never call me desperate again," she warned, clutching onto my coat.
I shook my head, finding her confidence quite amusing. I wondered how she'd react when she discovered my true identity. For some reason, I felt like she wouldn't act any differently, even if she knew who I was.
"You know," I began, rubbing my throbbing cheek, "for a lady, you can throw a mean slap."
"Do you think I'd fall for your charms just because you gave me your coat?" she retorted, and I couldn't help but smirk. I was beginning to like her.
"So, you admit I'm good-looking?" I teased.
"Only a fool would think you are," she replied and I chuckled.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Chloe," she hesitantly replied.
"Tell me, Chloe," I interrupted, approaching her and closing the gap between us, "Tell me you didn't wish I was the one who had confronted you. Tell me you didn't wish I had been the one to make you feel something."
She froze, her eyes locked with mine. A smile played on my lips as her mouth opened and closed without a word. Nervously, she swallowed and continued to stare at me, confirming my hunch.
"I'd rather pick a monkey over you," she finally said, and I chuckled as she made her way towards the exit.
"Follow me. I'll find you some new clothes," I assured her. She hesitated at first but eventually sighed in surrender and took my extended hand. Together, we left the restroom and walked down the hallway, the sounds of music growing louder as we moved. I stopped at the elevator and pressed the button.
"What's your name?" she asked once we were inside.
"Why?" I replied, glancing at the button and then at her. I couldn't help but smile.
"Well, I shared my name with you, so it's only fair I know yours," she said, and I smiled, briefly tearing my gaze away.
"Where did you mention you're from?" I inquired, noticing her momentary hesitation and wondering if she had crashed my party.
"Is your name truly Alistair?" she questioned, clearly avoiding mine.
"Oh, that?" I replied as the elevator doors opened. "That's just a monkey’s name."
"You're being sarcastic, aren't you?" she asked once more.
"Yes, I am."
We soon arrived at one of the hotel's suites, the presidential suite, one of the finest in the establishment. Stepping into the room, I closed the door behind us and, with a quick double clap of my hands, the lights illuminated the space. She gazed around in amazement, her attention captivated by the breathtaking view from the suite's windows.
The hotel had 44 floors, and we were on the top one. She approached the window and peered out, taking in the sprawling cityscape below. Meanwhile, I headed to the bar section, retrieved a bottle of vodka, and poured myself a drink.
"Who are you?" she asked, her back turned to me, and I smiled.
"Alistair Levon," I replied, and she turned with a look of astonishment.
"You're the son of the late Mr. Rodrick Levon?" she inquired, and I nodded.
Being the son of a billionaire came with its privileges, but it often felt like a burden. I had everything I wanted, and my name commanded fear and respect. My father had ensured that. I never really liked it and had trouble finding anyone who treated me as an equal.
"Take your left; there's a bathroom for your shower and a bed for you to sleep in," I told her, causing her to whip her head toward me in surprise.
"What?" she asked, clearly taken aback.
"What?"
A frown creased her face. "That's not what we discussed. You said you'd provide me with some clothes to change into and then I'd be on my way."
"Did I?" I replied, rubbing my chin. "Well, I've already requested the staff to bring you new clothes, but unfortunately, they won't arrive until tomorrow. If you don't want to wait, I can arrange for a chauffeur to take you home to your parents, and I might visit you sometime," I suggested, smirking slightly.
"On second thought, I've changed my mind. I'll stay," she decided.

"Here, sir," an attendant said as she entered the room with a tray of food and placed it on the table. "Is there anything else I can assist you with?" she inquired.
"No, thank you," I replied with a smile, causing her to leave with a slight blush.
I turned my attention to the sound of approaching footsteps, and Chloe entered the room, dressed in a sheer red silk nightgown. She appeared visibly uncomfortable, tugging at the hem of the short dress.
"Is this what you give to every lady who spends the night with you?" she asked, her face showing a slight frown as she adjusted the hem of the nightgown.
"Are you jealous?" I teased.
"Of course not!"
"Then there's nothing to worry about, is there?" I responded, making her frown again as her gaze returned to the dress.
Her long, black hair flowed over her shoulders, and the dress accentuated her curves, making her look truly beautiful. As I watched her, I couldn't help but wonder what her lips tasted like and how her skin would feel to the touch.
"If you're hungry, help yourself," I offered, but she hesitated, looking at me with suspicion.
"If I wanted to take advantage of you, I would have done it the moment you followed me here," I assured her, understanding her concerns. She nodded, and I removed my wristwatch, placing it on the table.
"Wait, isn't that a Hublot Big Bang wristwatch?" she inquired. “I heard it's worth over $5 million!"
I chuckled, glancing back at the watch. "No, this is a Graff Diamonds Hallucination wristwatch, and it's worth even more," I corrected her.
"Can I see it?" she asked, extending her hand. I passed it to her, and her fingers delicately traced the diamonds. The sparkle in her eyes revealed her amazement as she mumbled something inaudible.
"Did you say something?" I inquired, and she shook her head, denying it, before returning the watch to me.
"Well, I'm not hungry. I need to get some sleep," she stated, heading for the bed. I followed behind her, which seemed to make her uncomfortable.
"Don't worry, you won't even notice I'm here," I assured her, and she nodded. I could feel a bulge within my pants and despite the desire stirring within me, I resisted the urge to act on it immediately.
"Thank you for rescuing me earlier," she said as she settled onto the bed, facing away from me. I didn't respond but lay down beside her.
I woke to the sound of my alarm and noticed the beauty from the night before was gone. I knew she was indeed beautiful, even though I didn’t want to admit it to her. Jumping out of bed and grabbing a towel, I spotted my empty vodka bottle on the table. Despite my irritation at the staff for not removing it, I knew I was running out of time.I had to return home and prepare for work. While I trusted my assistant to handle things at my company, I preferred to be there myself. I had recently taken over the company under my name and needed to get to know my employees. As I passed the table where I’d placed my watch last night, I paused. Why?My table stood empty, completely devoid of any items. My wristwatch, however, was conspicuously absent. I began to wonder where it might have disappeared to, when suddenly, a thought crossed my mind. What if she had taken the watch? No, 'taken' didn't do justice to the situation. What if she had stolen it? I clenched my fist tightly, and a frown crept
CHLOE:Waking up, I shielded my eyes from the sunlight that peered through the curtains. A subtle yawn escaped my lips as I sat up and stretched. My eyes fell on a pair of men's trousers lying on the table, away from the bed, and my breath hitched. I wondered what in the world was going on before I heard stirrings from behind me. Turning around, I locked eyes with a man - the same stranger I had met last night, the blue-eyed heir to a billionaire. I couldn’t believe I was lying beside him. Though I wanted to scold myself for being in this situation, I couldn’t help feeling exhilarated. His eyes were the most beautiful I had ever seen, and I questioned whether everyone, including men, fell for his looks. My phone buzzed on the bedside table where it was plugged into the socket. It was a message from my best friend. She seemed to be freaking out, knowing she had left me alone at the party to have a fling with someone. To be honest, I was too surprised to be angry at her. I knew she wou
The car pulled up before a grand mansion, leaving me in awe at its sheer magnificence. I'd never witnessed such opulence before. Within the premises lay sprawling flower gardens and an expansive pool that seemed to stretch like a stadium. I marveled at the grandeur and wondered how long it took to create this beauty. The chauffeur opened the door, and I stepped out."Welcome, Miss Chloe," Jayden greeted as he approached. I'd become acquainted with him—Alistair's companion, always adorned in his black Italian suit.It had been three days since Alistair appeared at my house, informing me of my move to live with him as his girlfriend. He'd given me time to bid farewell to my friend and mother, presenting the ultimatum of either becoming his girlfriend or repaying the full worth of his watch—a debt I couldn't fulfill.Kate saw the situation positively, thrilled at the thought of me dating a billionaire. I omitted the document and the watch from her knowledge. As for my mother, I lied, exp
ALISTAIR: Seated in my study, the table hosting a bottle of rum, I exhaled a cloud of cigarette smoke before snuffing out the ember in a saucer. A pounding headache throbbed through my temples as I rubbed them, my gaze fixed upon the file report before me. Two days had elapsed since I tasked my assistant with uncovering every possible detail about her, the beauty whose disregard for my warnings disrupted a meeting out of pure curiosity. I had anticipated a background of wealth and prominence given her behavior at my party, yet the findings revealed her belonging to a lower social class. Nevertheless, it didn't alter the fact of her allure. While I knew several women who might surpass her in a beauty contest, there was something singular about her that captivated me. I couldn't comprehend the hold she had on me, but not a day passed without her crossing my thoughts. I wondered what she looked like, beneath all those fabrics and under the moonlight, in a stemming pool, with only lin
CHLOE: Waking to a sudden warmth, I was drawn to the window with a wide smile, feeling relief that winter was finally relenting. The snow had stopped a welcomed pause in its constant fall. But I knew the warmth was more from sealed windows and a cozy duvet. Stepping outside promised a chilling experience. My neck ached from an uncomfortable sleep, prompting a self-administered massage. I couldn't help but wish Alistair might arrange for a masseuse. A knock interrupted my thoughts as a maid entered with an expressionless face. We exchanged silent glances, neither of us willing to break the quiet. I questioned her purpose with my eyes, but she remained silent, almost as if sworn to frustrate me by her indifference. The unspoken tension between us left the morning tinged with unexpected emotions. "So?" I questioned, my brow furrowing in a mix of confusion and irritation. The silent maid had managed to successfully ruin my morning. "Mister Alistair instructed me to assist with your ba
Navigating relationships can be a wild ride. There's this one experience that sticks out. It barely lasted three days before he ended it via text, stating that he wasn't up for a non-sexual relationship. It hurt because I genuinely cared for him.I had a huge crush on him since fourth grade, and when he confessed his feelings after college, I was relieved. I thought he was the one I wanted to share my first intimate experience with, but when the time came, something didn't feel right, so I backed out. Now, with Alistair's unexpected comment, it felt different. Unlike before, I wasn't as annoyed. I couldn't tell if his question was a tease or something more genuine. I tried to respond, but the words just wouldn't come out.Alistair grabbed my right hand and slowly led it to his lower body, while he stared at me, his face an inch from mine and I could feel his breath on my face, literally taste it. My heartbeat ran faster as my hands trailed down his body until I felt his D**k in my gra
Gazing out the window, my fingers tapped rhythmically against the pane, accompanying the chirps of the birds. Noon had arrived, and soon it would be dinner, but my mind wasn’t occupied with thoughts of food. Instead, I found myself consumed by worry for my mother. As time passed, my curiosity intensified, aching for answers. If only he hadn't confined me, deploying guards and placing restrictions on my movements. I longed to sprint down the stairs, greet a waiting chauffeur, and storm into his office to confront him, even if it felt like a potentially reckless move.Though we were both lusting after each other, I knew for a fact that we both hated each other as well. Although I felt butterflies in my stomach whenever he was close by and the scent of his minty breath filled my nostrils, it was more of an uncomfortable feeling of being extremely close to him. It marked the first time I had engaged in something I never desired, yet, in a peculiar way, I couldn’t deny the wanting that lin
"Where's Alistair?" I inquired upon approaching Rue at breakfast the following morning while she set the table.Having awakened a few hours earlier, a sense of guilt lingered over me for my previous behavior, compelling me to seek him out and offer my apologies. However, my attempt to locate him in his room proved futile, and I was taken aback. Considering the untouched suit on the table, I deduced that he was somewhere within the Mansion.Despite having a personal assistant to manage the company affairs, Alistair wasn't one to remain idle at home. This observation was based on my experiences over the past few days spent with him in the mansion. While he may not outwardly appear as such, Alistair was undoubtedly a workaholic. This revelation led me to ponder how he managed the demands of his workload, a stark contrast to my own energy levels, as I would find myself exhausted in a similar scenario."Oh, he's in the garden," she replied with a faint smile, and I nodded, though uncertain
Chloe’s Pov I caught Alistair’s gaze as he casually shrugged, a smile playing on his lips. Glancing over at my mother, I couldn’t help but mirror his grin. Anxious thoughts raced through my mind as I pondered how she might react upon learning about my background. I couldn't shake the uncertainty of whether she would embrace me or regard me with the same disdain as the rest of Alistair's family. Would she too label me a pauper and chastise Alistair for the supposed error of welcoming me into the family? "You're even more beautiful in person," she complimented, and I felt my cheeks flush as she enveloped me in a warm embrace. It was evident that someone had briefed her about me, and I had a strong suspicion that it was Alistair. The thought that he found me beautiful sent a thrill through me. "Thank you," I managed to say once I found my voice, gently pulling away from the embrace and tucking a few strands of hair behind my ears. "You look great as well," I complimented, earning a
