Shock. Regrets

Men and women—staff and non-staff walked into the Corporation with their cases and handbags.

Amongst those who trouped into the large compound stood Olivia Reynolds who had a black handbag, hanging on one of her shoulders.

Her legs directed her to the reception area.

She strode in after exchanging pleasantries with the old man at the door and nodded at a few people she could see, gazing at her before walking to the woman who seemed to be the receptionist.

“Hi,” she greeted, smiling. “Good morning.”

“Welcome to the Corporation, miss,” the woman said and looked up. “Can I help you?”

“Argh, yes,” Olivia replied. “I have an interview this morning,” she explained. “I am here for a job interview.” She paraphrased when her thoughts told her she didn't let it out in a reasonable way.

“One moment,” the other woman said. There was a black-skinned computer in front, and she confronted the screen to look out for something. “What time is your appointment?”

“Nine in the morning,” Olivia replied
