Finding Chukc Larson was harder than Brent had expected. As it turns out Chuck lived on a very seclueded piece of property that was owned by his parents. Brent thought it hilarious that Chuck was THIS paranoid, it obviously took one to know one.
Chuck was an ex-marine, so he probably had plenty of weapons hidden around his place. He would have to watch out for them. He didn't seem to be the animal type but he kept an eye out for any animals, especially guard dogs, as he approached the back door of the house. He needed to get rid of Chuck and fast. He regreted spending the extra time with Theresa, so now he had to rush everything else. He tried to door knob before he got his lock picks out.
The door gave way easily, and within minutes Brent was inside the house. He made his way through the house making sure that there were no surprises. Brent thought it odd that the door wasn't locked, with Chuck being so paranoid he
It took Dwight about half an hour to arrive at Xavier's house. He walked around the perimeter, and then came to a steel, bolted door. Tap...tap-tap...tap...rat-ta-tat. It has been such a long time that he was surprised he still remembered the secret knock. The door finally opened and after about ten minutes."What took you so long? I"m freezing my ass off!" Dwigt shuffled his way past Xavier through the doorway. The warmth of the apartment started to thaw him out. He wasted no time getting to the point. "Where is she?" Dwight was actually really excited adn a little scared to see her."She is upstairs, I haven't explained to her about her father so don't mention it, I want to tell her. Did you call her partner like I asked?""I promise that I won't tell her and yes I did call Mack." He hoped that Mack would refocus on finding Brent, now tha the knows that Sierra is safe and sound.
Mack couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. He's been getting weird messages on his cell phone and things have been showing up on his door step ever since the bizarre phone call. The first thing that arrived was file on Brent Cummings a.k.a 'The God of Torture'. There was information in there that the police didn't even have, like a psych evaluation that declared him to have a schizophrenic and destructive personality disorder. The doctor at the institution that housed Brent for so long should never have released him, but they were unaware of how manipulative Brent is. That explains why there were no current records of Brent! Mack thought to himself as he made copies of the file before sending them to the Cheif. Two days after Brent was released he tracked down Dr. Dylan Godspeed and mutilated his body so badly that it took a week to identify him. It was kind of ironic that the only person who thought he was cu
Brent knew that he needed to leave town but he felt cheated. He wanted Sierra and nearly had her but she was taken from him! He wanted to lash out one last time! It wasn't hard to spot Madison Stone from the playground. She looked an awful lot like Sierra used to look when she was younger. Gettign her into the vehicle (that he had recently commandeered) was a whole lot harder than he had originally thought. The litte brat was well taught about strangers. He had to knock her unconscious with a little bit of Ketamine in order to get her into the car! He figured that this was the best way to flush Sierra out of hiding, and have his revenge! When Madison woke up she was already bound and gagged. He was snapping photos of her and as far as she could tell he hadn't done her any phyisical harm...yet. He saw her watching him. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I want a trade first." He was savign all of
Xavier knew that this would be too much for her. He left Dwight in the kitchen while he and Sierra went into the bedroom. She needed to lay down for a little while to process this information that she had just received."I will just be in the kitchen if you need me." He was trying to make her realize that she could trust him."I don't know what I will need but I will keep that in mind. Thank you." She replied absent mindedly before laying down.Xavier couldn't help the hurt her felt at her distrust. He quickly shut the door and headed to the kitchen. Dwight was pouring himself a cup of coffee when he entered the room. "I thought that I told you to take it easy on her!" Xavier snapped, more irritated than he thought.Dwight looked at him guiltily. "I know, I know, I'm sorry. I just couldn't resist, she just looks so much like my sister that it shocked me! I miss her so very much
Mack was in the middle of speaking with the officers in charge of Madison's kidnapping when Cheryl told him he had a phone call. "Can you just take a message please? The officers here need to take my statement.""Honey, you REALLY need to take this!" Cheryl took over for Mack while he answered the phone."Hello, this is Detective Mack Stone." He nearly choked when he heard the voice."Hey there Macky boy, I knew that you have been worrying about me so I am calling you to let you know that I am safe and secure, I'm with Xavier. How are you holding up? Do you have any leads on the whereabouts of Brent?" She rattled on."Well I am glad to hear from you and that you are okay. I'm doing alright considering that Brent has my daughter." Mack had been trying to hold his emotions together but at the sound of Sierra's voice the dam broke. There was a long silence then the eruption. "W
It won't be long now before I can implement my plan! Brent was starting to get edgy, he told Mack that he wouldn't call until eight o'clock in the evening. He glanced at the clock on the wall, DAMN it's only five thirty! Patience was definitely an issue for him, he had some but it has been worn very, very thin! He had to calm down before he lost control. He looked at Madison, the thought's rolling around in his mind made the edginess grow. He knew of only one for sure way to calm him down and kill some time! It's time to go trolling!"I'm heading out for a little while, you won't be able to escape so don't even try." When he shut the door he snapped the padlock shut. He went up the long flight of stairs that led into the kitchen. He grabbed a quick bite to eat, looking around he liked the fact that nobody would ever guess that he lived here. It wasn't leased to anyone, it was an eloquent four story pla
When Sierra hung up the phone she was seething. Xavier could feel how mad she was, long before she entered the living room. Dwight actually looked shocked to see her so angry, when she came storming in. "What's wrong?" Xavier needed to find out why she was SO angry!Sierra was balling her fists to help control her anger. "That BASTARD has Madison and he wants to trade her for me! We need to stop him...NOW!" Sierra looked pointedly at Xavier. "You told me that once a connection is established that it could be used like a tracking device, right?""Yeah, but there are only a couple of ways to establish that connection between a hybrid and a human. One way is through the mating process (intimacy) and the other way is through being bitten. I don't think that there is any way to track Brent if that is what you are getting at." Xavier replied as he looked at her trying to see where thi
Cheryl and Mack were waiting on pins and needles for eight o'clock to roll around. By the time the phone rang it was eight fifteen. Before he could answer the phone the officer in charge had to set up a trace. Once the trace was in place he quickly answered. "Hello?""I presume that you've received the photographs that I sent you." His voice was calm and calculating."Yes, we have received the photos. What do you want from us?" Mack's voice trembled with anger every time he spoke."It's very simple, I want your partner for your daughter's life." He sounded very smug."I thought that you already had Sierra. We received a text message from Sierra's phone saying that we had a limited amount of time to find her." Mack had a bad feeling that continued to grow in the pit of his stomach."Well it was meant to serve a purpose and it worked quite well if I do say so myself. I needed time to c
I can't believe that this day has finally arrived! My life has not been easy by any means but today if feels like all the rough patches are worth going through. I stare at myself in the mirror as Cheryl, my maid of honor, helps me attached my veil. There is an uneasiness that I have not been able to shake this whole day. I know that it is the cop in me that won't shut down but I have never been led astray by my instincts. I don't have to worry about Brent Cummings aka The God of Torture anymore, he is dead thanks to my inner demon. However Garrison O'Grady is still at large and we just found out recently that he is also the biological brother of Brent Cummings! Just my luck I now have yet another pshycopathic serial killer on my hands! "Earth to Sierra!" Cheryl comments, breaking my thoughts. I smile at her blushing, having been caught zoning out...again. "Sorry, I have a lot on my mind and I'm really nervou
It has been about three months since she had killed Brent Cummings and she still couldn't get rid of him. She stopped reading newspapers because that's all every one talked about. She would have quit her job if she could, but Mack and Xavier helped her listen to reason. "Sierra, honey, you need to forget about what happened in th past and focus on the present." Cheryl's voice brought her back to reality. "I know, I know I'm trying, by the way you look beautiful." She slapped on the best smile that she could. "Well thank you and you look absolutely radiant yourself." Cheryl stood behind her and touched up her make-up. "We have only a few minutes until the music plays. Now as you maid-of-honor, I am ordering you to help me with your veil." Sierra was chuckling at Cheryl as she held the head piece in place while Cheryl pinned it to her head. "Are you going to tell your husband-to-be?" Sierra was tak
Everything was falling apart! Sierra needed to get control of herself and soon. This latest incident could have cost her her job, her friendship with Mack, and above all else it could have cost her Xavier! Her boss took pity on her and just sent her on a three week paid vacation, so things could blow over or in the least cood down. Another thing that she was curious about was that since she drank from Brent, she hasn't suffered from the fever, it was very odd.She didn't object, she knew it would be of no use to argue. She knew that she needed the vacation anyway. She called Mack to let him know that she was going to leave town for about a week, of course he started to argue but he quickly gave in. "Don't worry Mack, I will be fine. I will call you when I arrive." She had bit waited for his reply before she hung up the phone. She looked at her watch, she had just enough time to take a shower, pack a bag or two
Brent coule not believe his luck that Sierra would just be unconscious waiting for him to punish her! He slowly admired her body as he took her cloths off. What delicate skin! Brent smiled to himself. He also took his clothes off and readied himself by hovering over her body. He caressed her legs up her hips over her stomach. He lingered on her perky breasts and tweaked her nipples to harden them to pointy nubs. He could feel that her body was shuddering under his touch. He smirked to himself as he bent down and took her nipple into his mouth and moaned at the taste of her in his mouth. He was so lost in his moment that he was unaware of her soft moans as she slowly roused to consciousness. He popped his mouth off of her breast and made his way up her neck to her mouth. He was about to run his tongue over her lips when he realized that she was fully awake! The intensity of her eyes startled him a bit.&
Garrison was resting in his new hotel, he stopped going to Pauline's for fear that someone would notice. He was flipping through the TV channels to make sure cops hadn't caught onto his scent yet. When he came across the local news he watched in shocked amazement. Apparently Brent Cummings tried to attack Detective Ryans for the second time, when he was somehow killed! He angrily shut off the TV, he started to pace around the room. How could Brent be taken over by his obsession so easily. Looks liek I'm just gonna have to find out what really happened to me brother! As he paced about the room, he was compiling a metal shopping list of items that he would need. He was in such deep thought plotting his revenge that he hadn't noticed that a young woman was standing in the doorway of his room. He stopped pacing and turned toward the door. "Beg your pardon sir, I wasn't aware that this room was occupied. Sorry to h
Mack had been trying to reach Sierra for a couple of hours. Either she was ignoring her calls or she was out of range. He decided to stop by the 2nd precinct on his own, he'll just pass along the information when he saw her next. She was starting to act really weird as of late, he was really starting to worry about her even more. He was brought back to reality as he was met by Detective Dominguez. "Good evening Detective Stone." Detective Dominugez was about 5'9" and locked to be in his early thirties and fit. "Well I brought those photos, that I told you about with me. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind interviewing some of those co-workers of the first victim, with me." "I will go with you, but only on one condition, I drive." Detective Dominguez was already headed to his car. Mack quickly exited hsi car and hopped in the passenger side of Detective Dominguez's car. They rode the whole way to the din
Brent followed both Sierra and her guest, to a cabin that was hidden well out of the city limits. He decided to change the location of his plans, out here nobody would interfere it was perfect! When they entered the cabin Brent started to prepare for the plan. He waited for the man to leave before he put his plan into action. When he knew that the man was a safe distance away, he made his way towards to cabin, cautiously. When he reached the door he paused to make sure that the guy wasn't coming back, the only thing he heard was a light groaning coming from the other side of the door. He slowly and quietly opened the door adn entered the cabin. He shut and barricaded the door and waited for his eyes to adjust to the darkness. He found that he was in the kitchen so he searched for a weapon and found a meat cleaver. He walked down the hallway and heard the groans getting louder. He came up to a closed door on the right and
When Mack headed back to his desk he was bombarded with at least 15 messages waiting for him. Three were from his wife, two were from Xavier, and the last ten were from the 2nd precinct. "Hello, this is Detective Mack Stone, I am returning a call to a Detective Gabriel Dominguez. Is he available?" "Hold please." Moments later he was greete4d by a man's voice that had a slight accent to it. "Hello, this is Detective Dominguez, thank you for returning my call. I have a couple of cases that you and your partner might be interested in." "What kind of cases?" Mack asked, intrigued. "The M.O. is familiar to your previous torture cases. The only difference is that the killer leaves a callling card at every scene." Mack didn't recall Brent leaving any calling cards at his crime scenes. "What kind of calling card?" "He leaves a black rose on or near the body of whoever he killed. This guy se
O'Grady could hear music and laughter coming from room 390, so he quietly approached the door, looked around and made sure that no one was watching him. He reached for th edoor knob and turned it until the latch released adn the door fell free from his hand. He wouldn't have much time so the needed to act quickly. He reached inside his bag and pulled out a bowie knife, he watied for rick to come to the door. As the door started to shut, he slid his arm through the crack and slashed at what he believed to be Rick's throat. His assumption was confirmed when he heard a gurgled gasp and Channing's shocked voice. "RICK! What the-" O'Grady stormed intot he room and locked the door behind him. "Well hello Channing." He smiled menacingly at his prey. Channing was sitting at the desk when O'Grady walked into the room. "What do you want? I already apologized for knocking your drink all over you." "Yes, ye di
