Focused on stirring the eggs in front of me, I was taken by surprise when arms suddenly wrapped around me from behind.

I sighed in satisfaction and leaned back so I was resting on him. His touch automatically made me feel better. That was one of the pros of living with him.

“How are you feeling?” Saint questioned, kissing my cheek.

I had acted all tough when she was around but her visit disoriented me. I wasn’t expecting her. I never thought I’d see her again. I moved into Saint’s place two days ago. How did she know where to find me?

My thoughts were currently swarming my head. It was my first day in the senior year of college and she had ruined it for me already. I hated her. “I don’t want to talk about her.”

“Adriana–“

I turned around in his arms, cutting him off. “You should be on your way to work. Aren’t you late?”
