Alice
I checked myself in the mirror to fix the last few imperfections to my look for today. I was excited beyond belief, since today has officially been three years since my mate Tristan and I had been together. We had plans to go dining out of town at some fancy restaurant called “Le Cordon d’Or” and to say I was excited would have been an understatement. I was simply ecstatic.
I walked towards the living room, and I saw my mate sitting with my sister watching a movie, when I decided to join them.
“Hello babe, where have you been all morning?” He inquired, and I found myself smiling.
“I was getting ready for our anniversary dinner, what are you two up to?” I asked, and he shifted a bit, before facing me.
“Oh, we were just watching a movie! Shall we go then?” He asked, to which I nodded, watching as my sister seemed to be angry.
“Hey sis, what’s wrong?” I inquired, wondering what bugged her so much.
“Oh! Well, it’s nothing, don’t worry about it, have fun you two.” She stated, and I took that as her not wanting to talk any further, so we headed out to the car.
Tristan opened the door for me, and I climbed in. That is when he suddenly spoke up.
“Hey, I think I forgot my wallet; I’ll be right back.” He stated, before giving me a peck on the lips, and closing the car door. I found myself blushing, I really did have the perfect mate.
He came back almost 5 minutes later, and he had a massive grin on his face. He was probably just as excited about this dinner as me.
He opened the car door on his side, before sliding into his seat, and starting the car. We both smiled at each other, and I put my safety belt on, before he pulled out of the driveway.
“I have been dying to go to this restaurant since it opened up a few weeks ago, and now we can finally enjoy our anniversary. I am so happy to have you as my mate.” Tristan spoke up, and I could feel the butterflies pooling in my stomach.
“I know what you mean. This is so exciting; I hope they have the window seat available. You know the one on the top floor?” I stated, and his grin grew wider.
“That is the seat I booked. I’m happy we had the same idea.” He said, and I found myself smiling once again, this night was going to be amazing.
We finally arrived at the restaurant, and he pulled into the parking space, before he shut off the car and opened his side of the car. I was about to open my side when he stopped me.
“I know you’re eager, but at least let me open your door for you.” He stated, and I felt a blush creeping up my cheeks, replacing them with a reddish hue.
He walked around the car, reaching my side of it, and opened the door. “Shall we?” He asked, and I nodded, taking his hand in mine, as we approached the fine dining restaurant.
We walked up to the receptionist and gave her our reservation card. She scanned it thoroughly, looking at the both of us, before putting it away, and ushering a waiter closer to show us to our seats.
We finally sat down, and she gave us our menus before leaving us to decide on what we were going to have whilst she went to get our drinks and complimentary breadsticks.
She eventually returned when we were ready to order, and she told us our food would be with us shortly. I looked over towards Tristan, and noticed he was texting on his phone, which peaked my curiosity.
“Who are you talking to at this time of night?” I inquired, when he looked up, and gave me a wolfy grin.
“Oh, just some work I had to do, we are close to closing a deal, so sorry about that babe.” He answered, his smile never leaving his face, and I felt content.
“Oh! I am so happy for you, my love. I could not be prouder of you.” I stated, to which his smile softened. We sat and waited a bit, when our food finally arrived, and I had to say, the food looked amazing, not a hint of imperfection.
We ate in peace and quiet, making small talk here and there, before the end of the night drew closer. We had a couple of alcoholic drinks as well, and I felt a little tipsy. We drove home after leaving the restaurant, making small talk to keep ourselves busy, and I knew we were a match made in heaven.
We arrived home shortly after the drive, and headed up to our room, to go take a shower, and get ready for bed, and after this amazing night, I didn’t want it to end, but as they say, all good things have to come to an end.
We finished our showers, and got comfy, before finally climbing into the bed. As we climbed into bed, I found myself happy with how my life was currently going, and I fell asleep with a grin plastered on my face, and eventually sleep overtook my senses.
I WOKE UP some time during the night, feeling thirsty, so I found myself walking down the steps towards the kitchen to get myself a glass of water, when I heard someone else’s door opening. Curiosity got the better of me, and I slowly headed up the stairs, the steps creaking softly below my feet.
I eventually made my way to the door, and it was open the slightest bit. I could here moaning coming from behind the door, to my sister’s room, and I could sense that something was off.
I opened the door the slightest bit more, just to see if everything was okay, and that is when I saw it…
My mate… Was f@cking my sister…!
AliceA gasp left my mouth, as I felt a searing pain shoot throughout my body. I fell to my knees clutching my chest, and watched as the door swung open, feeling as though my heart was shattered into a million pieces. My mate… Was enjoying himself… with my sister. They finally noticed me, as I was struggling to breathe from the pain, and I knew what I had to do.“Alice?! Baby It’s not what it looks like!” He tried to reason his way out of this. I was too shattered to care about anything they had to say.“Save it…” I stated before turning to leave, hearing the sickening sound of his grunt as he pulled himself out of my sister, and I felt sick to my stomach.“Baby, hold on, we can talk about this. Please it’s not what it looks like, if I can just explain…?” He was trying desperately to get himself out of this situation, when I had already caught him red-handed. I turned, and ran to our room, as that was the only thing I could do, as tears fell down my cheeks, blurring my vision. The ago
AliceI did not get a single wink of sleep last night; my thoughts were swarming around in my head. I needed to find a way to get under Tristan’s skin, and I needed my revenge. There was no way I was going to let the two of them get away with what they had done.I walked towards the living room of our pack house, and sat on one of the many sofas that littered the enormous room. I decided that since my sister was capable of carrying a child, no doubt Tristan’s as well, that she could take over my duties, of taking care of the pups.I opened a book that I had yet to finish, and started reading to pass the time. A few hours had passed, since I sat down to read, as my gaze traveled to the clock, and I noticed it was eerily quiet today.“Why aren’t you doing your pack duties, and taking care of the pups today?” A gruff voice snapped me out of my trance, and I looked up to find none other than Zayn.“Why bother if I can just let the new mother of the pack handle it?.” I stated bluntly.“You
AliceI awoke to the sound of birds chirping, and realized that I had been so busy yesterday with moving everything, that I must have passed out, since I did not attend the pack dinner. What I couldn’t wrap my head around, was the fact that I had been covered up with a blanket. The thing is, I did not get a blanket. I had just passed out, so who was it?I decided not to dwindle on the thought for too long, as my stomach was basically screaming at me for food. I could smell that the chef had prepared some eggs and bacon for the morning, along with a bunch of other things.I hopped into the shower, and I turned the water on to a very warm temperature. I needed to relax, I was overworking myself to not think about the recent incident with my ex-mate. Not to mention this whole elaborate plan I had been cooking up for the past few days to get my revenge.I had no idea what to do anymore, except keep on seducing the Alpha until he is mine? He was so stubborn though! How was I supposed to se
Alice“I think you should go check on the pack matters. I will catch up with you in a minute or two.” I heard Zayn speak up, and I was fully convinced that he knew I was here.“No problem, dude, I’ll see you in a few.” Bryce stated, before exiting the waters, and heading back to the pack.“You can come out now.” He commanded, and I felt my heart leap into my throat. I slowly got out from behind the rock, and I saw Zayn’s face contort into that of shock as I swam closer, and I felt like a child that had been caught with their hand in the cookie jar.“I can explain…” I started, but he held up his hand, silencing me instantly.“No need, I am sorry that we interrupted your… private time. However, this is a public swimming place for the pack, and anyone could come along, only to discover a naked woman swimming here.” The way he said it, made me feel like I did something wrong, which I probably did, but no one has visited this place in over two years.“Well, it isn’t like anyone comes to v
ZaynI met up with Bryce, after the whole ordeal at the waterfall, and I knew that I was in for a wild ride. I have had feelings for Alice since the day my mate had left me, and she had helped me get over the grief. She was loyal to her core, and I knew that this could be my second chance at a mate.Maybe the moon goddess wasn’t as cruel as I had made her out to be after all. Bryce had told me that there were a couple of rogues lurking around the pack borders, and that we needed to take action rather fast if we didn’t want them to try and raid our pack like they had with the neighbouring packs.I organized the last of my paperwork, filing away most of our business deals into the archives, and we eventually decided to head out to meet with the rogues, and their leader Aden.We ran at full speed, and the warriors were following close behind, until we reached the pack borders, where, sure enough, the rogues had been waiting patiently.“State your business here, or leave this pack, otherw
AliceWalking along the trail to the pack house, I found myself wondering what had happened if I had married Tristan instead of her. Would I really be happy with my life? I mean he never really showed me any love to begin with, and I was too blind to notice that I had been the one putting in all the effort while he basically did nothing.I laughed to myself at how ridiculous the situation was, as now it became even apparent to me that he never really loved me. He might have loved me at some point, but I knew he had his eyes on my sister from the very first day he had met her.I just chose to ignore the signs, which was my only strategy at the time, and I had always tried to justify his actions, trying to paint him as the saint he was not. Well, at least I did not have to deal with that trainwreck anymore.I walked up to the pack house, and right as I was about to open the door, the handle had turned, and when the door opened it had revealed none other than the two people that were cur
*WARNING: spicy scene ahead! Skip if that makes you uncomfortable, and thanks for reading!*AliceHe walked over to me, and I gave him a look of need, urging him to do as he pleased. He smirked before undoing his black button-up shirt, and grabbing my hand, placing it on his matching trousers.“It’s never too late to back out, you know, no shame.” He stated, winking at me. Oh, it was on.“Like I’d ever back down from a challenge.” I stated, before unzipping his pants and pulling them down, revealing a rather large package, only confined by his underwear. He smirked before placing his fingers under my chin, tilting my head to look up at him, and I knew what I was getting myself into, but I did not care, I needed to do this, and I wanted to do this.He took my lips in his, and we shared a heated kiss, his tongue grazing my bottom lip, asking for entrance, which I happily granted him.He placed his hands under my crop top, and massaged my br*asts, causing a moan to escape my lips at how
ZaynI was walking along the path with Alice, as we headed to the location of the ceremony, and I felt more alive, than I had ever since that awful day. I suppose I had Alice to thank for that. She handled that very well, and I was proud of her for it.I was glad I could put a smile on her face as well, she also seemed livelier than she had been when she was sulking about what my a**hole of a son did to her. How could he let such an amazing and lovely woman down? It seriously boggled my mind, and I knew that he had made a huge mistake, because in my opinion, Alice was so much more perfect in every way compared to her sister, and I would be damned if they even tried doing anything to her now.I was going to make her my Luna, and I was going to put them in their place. I just needed to wait a little longer, until she was ready for all of that, because it would be a massive change to her current situation, and I did not want to scare her off.We arrived at the ceremony where everyone was
HaleyPulling out weeds and trimming vines was tasking to say the least. I was dirty and sweaty, and I now knew why she spent so much time in here...With that being said, I finally finished after a couple of hours, and the garden looked almost barren in contrast to its original overgrown state. I found that poetic. I got up with a soft grunt, and made my way to the backdoor of the pack house. I looked back towards the garden to admire my work, and I knew that Alice would have been proud.I took off all the dirty gardening gear that I had on, and put it aside for now, whilst I made my way to the shower. I just could not stand feeling that dirty. I know, ironic, isn’t it? A werewolf that does not like to be dirty. What a joke.I got into the shower, and made sure to wash any and all pieces of dirt that had accumulated on my body throughout the day. After a few minutes of scrubbing, I finally turned off the water, and as soon as I stepped out of the shower, I instantly felt like a new p
ZaynI woke up to the sound of birds chirping, and I was met with a face full of sunlight blinding me through my closed eyelids. I think I drank too much last night, because all I can remember was how I started, and as things stood now, I did not even know where I was currently lying down, but I had to get up. So, I guess we were about to find out.I turned around, so the sunlight did not hit my face, and I slowly opened my eyes. I rubbed the sleep out of them, trying to recall last night’s events, because I had a massive headache pounding away at my skull, which probably meant that I was hungover. I forced myself to get up, and realized that I had passed out on the couch.Well... I suppose there are worse places that I could have woken up in, like the bathroom, or somewhere on the floor. I stretched, and the headache worsened, much to my dismay. I suppose I should go get coffee and start my morning. The walk to the kitchen was rather short, and I soon found myself facing the coffee m
ZaynI am not going to lie, this was a massive surprise, and I did not expect them to remember, or to even care about my birthday. It looks like they proved me wrong, because I did not even remember my own birthday, so to say I was surprised would be an understatement. With that being said, the place was beautifully decorated, and the appetizers were delicious. You can tell that they put a lot of work into all of this, and I was really grateful for everything that they had done for me so far. They were really great friends, and I appreciated every little thing that they did for me.We chatted, and enjoyed each other’s company for the rest of the night, and eventually the time came for us to open the presents. I smiled as Haley and Bryce handed me theirs, and I was very curious to see what they had gotten me. As I unwrapped the package, I could see that they had gotten me an album filled with photos of what I assumed were sentimental memories, as well as a new phone, and a couple of sw
HaleyKaitlyn and I were busy setting up the decorations while Cole was busy arranging the snacks, and Bryce was keeping Zayn busy. It was all starting to come together, and I was actually impressed by how everything had turned out so far.“I think it looks good, what about you?” Kaitlyn finished putting up some of the lights, as she hopped off of the ladder, and walked closer to where I was standing. She turned to face the lights, and inspect them as she slowly nodded to show her approval.“Yeah! I think it looks great. Let’s go see what Cole is up to, and how far he has come with the food preparations.” I nodded in response to her suggestion, and we made our way to the kitchen where we found Cole helping out with the plating of the food.He looked like he enjoyed it, and we decided to leave him to it whilst we made our way back to the living room. I suppose we have to check in with Bryce as well, seeing as we need to know how much time we have left. We were almost done anyway.“Hey
Bryce“Do you really think that he forgot about what today is?” I asked Haley, knowing that she would most likely be able to confirm our suspicions.“I believe so, I mean usually he would be excited, and he would force everyone to tell him happy birthday, but he seemed out of it today.” Haley explained, and just as I was about to answer her, Kaitlyn made her way into the kitchen.“What are we talking about so secretly?” She smiled softly. She looks a lot different than she had before the death of Alice. It could be that she has finally matured mentally. She could also be trying her best to stay afloat, and not get dragged down into the deep, dark hole known as depression.Whatever the case, her whole demeanour changed, and she acts like a completely new person because of it.“We were just discussing the fact that it is a certain someone’s birthday, and he seems that he has forgotten. Either that, or he willfully chose not to celebrate his birthday this year.” Kaitlyn nodded, before si
ZaynWe arrived at the pack, and I could not wait to get this over with. I was not looking forward to discussing a peace treaty, and I definitely was not in the mood to negotiate certain terms. These people couldn't care less about the fact that I had lost my Luna, and the funny thing is, that I know, once it happens to them, they will be seeking comfort in those they had no compassion for. With that being said, we were greeted by the guards of the pack, and we were escorted to meet with Jace, the Alpha of the Crimson Fangs. We were told to wait in what looked to be a dining room, and there were various foods prepared to eat, not that I was particularly interested in eating right now.“Welcome! I had no idea you guys were going to come this quickly. How have things been lately?” Jace knew exactly how I was doing, and I wanted to punch him in the face, but I refrained from doing so, seeing as that would not be a wise thing to do. We were in his territory after all.“Things have been go
ZaynAfter the funeral, everyone in the pack’s moods seemed to have dulled, and who could blame them? I mean... there’s not much you can do except mourn the person that has departed from your life. No longer having Alice here really did make that much of a difference, and the people missed her greatly.I wish there was more we could do, but it seems that we have done all that we can for now. Everyone went back to their respective homes and businesses, whilst I sat in front of her grave.I do not know how long I had spent trying to make sense of it all, and I do not know how long I sat at her grave, but it must have been a while, because nightfall was quickly approaching, and I was still sitting here. Motionless, empty, and for once in my life, I was at a loss for words.I sighed, and with a hole in my chest, I made my way back to the pack house, and made my way to bed. Today was tiring and emotionally draining, and I did not have the energy to fight with anyone. I also did not have th
ZaynThe elders proceeded with the ceremony, and almost everyone was in tears. I wish I could say the same for myself, but I would be lying if I said that I still had any tears left to cry. I cried so much after her parting, that I physically could not cry anymore, and all I could do was feel pure emptiness inside.Once the pack elder had finished giving his speech and made a prayer, the time came to give our own speeches, and after that we would get one last chance to say goodbye. I, of course, had to go first, since I was her mate, and I could already feel the lump starting to form in my throat.I cleared my throat as I held back tears that threatened to escape, and I tried keeping it together as best as I could, when I finally started with the speech.“Good evening, everyone. I hope you are all doing well despite the current circumstances... Alice was an absolutely perfect mate, through and through, and she always tried to put a smile on everyone’s faces. She was determined, and s
Bryce“I am very worried about him... I brought him food at least, and he took it after some convincing, so hopefully he eats at least.” I discussed Zayn’s current state with Haley as we were doing our duties, and she let out a heavy sigh.“I feel really bad for him if I am being completely honest... I know everyone is hurting, but the rest of the pack are starting to ask questions, and we cannot keep them waiting forever. We also have to hold her burial ceremony when she arrives later today...” Haley lowered her head, and I could tell that this was taking a toll on her emotional health. I wish I could do more to comfort her, but I suppose she had her own way of coping as well, and I had to respect that.“I am going to go tell Zayn to get his ass out of his office, because we owe it to her to make it the most memorable burial ever.” Haley got up from her seat, and marched towards his office, and I knew Zayn was going to be in for it now.I walked to the kitchen and asked the chef to p
