ADRIEN
There's something about her!
"Did you notice the way she was looking at us?" Aries asked me, his tone laced with curiosity.
I barely glanced up from my phone, busy replying to a message from one of our top clients. “Who are you talking about?” I responded absentmindedly, my fingers flying over the screen.
“Who else but Rochelle,” he said, sounding exasperated, like I was supposed to read his mind simply because we’re twins.
I sighed, finally lifting my eyes to meet his. “I didn’t notice anything strange about how she looked at us. I was busy talking with the client we’re supposed to supply products to.” I went back to my phone, dismissing whatever Aries was going on about. “What did you notice anyway?”
Aries leaned back in his chair, folding his arms. “The way she looked at us wasn’t normal. It was... different. It felt like she was trying to get our attention.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Maybe she wants something.”
“Like what?” he asked, leaning forward with a curious smirk.
“I have no idea. You tell me, since you observed,” I casually said to him.
He shrugged, his eyes narrowing slightly. “I don’t know. It could be... sex. You never can tell”
I laughed, shaking my head. “Come on, Aries. That’s not possible. Rochelle’s not like that.”
“You speak as if you've known her all your life,” I said.
“Well, we just met… but it doesn't mean I'm wrong. Stop trying to give meaning to nothing. I don't know how she looked at us, but I'm sure she wasn't calling our attention for sex,” I said to him.
“You think?,” he asked, not impressed.
“I know,” I replied, sounding like I believed completely in what I had said.
Aries didn’t press the issue further, but his silence lingered in the air, leaving me wondering if he believed it more than he let on.
We waited for Rochelle to return from her room, but she never showed up. It was odd. Rochelle usually enjoyed staying around to chat or watch a movie. Tonight, she’d been unusually quiet and distant.
Aries tapped his foot impatiently, glancing at the clock. “She’s been in there for a while. Don’t you think it’s strange?”
I looked at him, frowning. “Yeah, it’s getting late. You think something’s wrong?”
He shrugged, his casual demeanor unconvincing. “Why don’t you go check on her?”
“Me?” I pointed to myself, raising an eyebrow.
“Yes, you. You’re the more... approachable one,” Aries said, smirking. “Besides, you could do with another round of conversation with her,” he added.
I sighed, knowing he wouldn’t let it go. “Fine. I’ll check.”
“Just what I thought,” he casually said.
As I walked down the hall, the soft glow from the wall sconces cast shadows that seemed to stretch endlessly. Rochelle’s door was ajar, just enough for me to push it open without knocking.
I hesitated, my heart beating a little faster than usual. Why am I nervous? I shook the thought off and stepped inside quietly.
She was standing by the window, her back to me, looking out into the night. The moonlight bathed her in a soft glow, making her look almost ethereal. Her hair cascaded down her shoulders, and the curve of her silhouette was mesmerizing. I couldn’t help but stare.
For a moment, I let my mind wander, thoughts I shouldn’t be having creeping in. She’s beautiful, but this is wrong. I quickly brushed the thoughts away, reminding myself that this was Rochelle—Aries’s friend, our business partner’s daughter.
I took a step closer, clearing my throat. “Rochelle?”
She turned around, startled, her eyes wide. “Adrien? You scared me.”
“Sorry,” I said, my voice soft.
“What are you doing here? You didn't even knock before walking in. What if I was naked?,” she asked.
“Well, you were not naked,” I said, a little smile escaping me.
“What if I was?,” she asked, sounding insistent. It felt like she really wanted me to respond to that question. I could feel the desperation in her voice, and in the way she looked at me.
“We were waiting for you. You’ve been up here for a while,” I said, quickly switching discussion.
She smiled faintly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “I just needed some air. Lost track of time.”
I nodded, unsure of what else to say. Her eyes locked onto mine, and for a moment, we stood there in silence. The tension was palpable, and I felt an inexplicable pull toward her.
“Is everything okay?” I asked, taking another step closer.
She hesitated, then nodded. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just... thinking.”
Her voice was soft, almost vulnerable. I wanted to reach out, to comfort her, but I stopped myself. This isn’t right. Aries would notice.
“Do you want to come back downstairs?” I offered, trying to break the tension.
She hesitated again before nodding. “Yeah, I guess I should.”
As we walked back to the living room, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was shifting between us. I needed to be careful. I couldn’t let Aries or Rochelle know how I felt. It wasn’t just about Aries—it was about keeping things professional, keeping things... safe.
I found Rochelle in the living room later that night. She was curled up on the couch, wearing a light nightgown that clung to her figure. A bowl of popcorn sat in her lap as she watched a movie, her laughter filling the room.
I stood in the doorway, watching her. There was something captivating about her in that moment—so relaxed, so happy. The light from the screen danced across her face, highlighting her features. She was radiant.
I walked in, trying to act casual. “Mind if I join you?”
She looked up, surprised but smiling. “Of course not. Come on.”
I sat down beside her, keeping a respectable distance. But my eyes kept drifting to her. The way she laughed, the way she tucked her hair behind her ear, the way her nightgown shifted slightly as she moved—it was driving me crazy.
“You’re not watching the movie,” she teased, catching me staring.
I blinked, feeling heat rise to my face. “Sorry. I was... distracted.”
She chuckled, her eyes twinkling. “By what?”
I hesitated, searching for an excuse. “Popcorn. Smells good.”
She laughed, offering me the bowl. “Here, have some.”
I took a handful, hoping it would keep my mind off her. But it didn’t work. My thoughts kept circling back to her, and I knew I was in trouble.
We sat there in comfortable silence for a while, the movie playing in the background. But my mind wasn’t on the screen—it was on her. Every movement, every laugh, every glance—it all pulled me in deeper.
I needed to stop. I couldn’t let this go any further.
ROCHELLE My body's on fire… for them…Over the next few days, I decided I was going to steer clear of Aries and Adrien. I wanted to settle my mind. I didn’t like the fact that they were messing with my head. My emotions felt like a stormy sea, continuously tossing and turning, and every glance, every word from them seemed to add fuel to that raging fire. It was better to keep my distance, to refocus on myself and what I needed to do.That morning, the sunlight streamed through the curtains, lighting up my modest bedroom. I lay in bed for a moment, staring at the ceiling, feeling the weight of my thoughts. I grabbed my phone and looked at my bank account, and it was like a punch in the gut. My father had withdrawn my credit cards, basically cutting off my financial lifeline. I was caught in this uncomfortable limbo; I had to find a job. After throwing some clothes on, I felt a semblance of determination building in me. I needed to show everyone, especially my father and the twins,
ROCHELLE Let me burn!Slowly, Aries and Adrien started touching me.At first, it was innocent, like it had always been in my mind—playful gestures, friendly teasing. But tonight, something felt different, a crackling tension in the air that made my skin tingle. Maybe it was the dim lighting of Adrien's expression, or the champagne buzz making everything seem a little too warm. Whatever it was, my heart beat faster, my pulse drumming in my ears as their hands lingered longer than usual.Aries was the first. His fingers brushed against my shoulder, slow and deliberate, sending a shiver down my spine. I tried to ignore it, telling myself it was accidental. But then Adrien joined, his touch feather-light against my lower back. I swallowed hard, my throat suddenly dry."Are you okay, Rochelle?" Adrien's voice was soft, a whisper against my ear. His breath was warm, and I could feel the heat of his body just inches away."I'm fine," I murmured, though my voice came out sh
ADRIEN She's so hard to resist!“What just happened?” I asked Aries as soon as we walked out of Rochelle's room. My voice was shaky, almost breaking under the weight of what had just transpired. The air was thick with tension, and I could feel my heart racing. It replayed in my mind like a movie that I desperately wanted to stop watching but couldn’t: the way Rochelle’s hair fell around her shoulders, the warmth of her smile, and then… everything escalated so quickly.Aries stood beside me, his expression oddly nonchalant, as if we hadn’t just shared the most intense, confusing moment of our lives. “Come on, Adrien. Chill out,” he said, shrugging his shoulders. “It was just a kiss, right?”“A kiss?” I repeated incredulously. “Are you kidding me? It was so much more than that. We almost… you know what? We almost had sex with her, Aries!” My hands clenched into fists as I fought against the rising tide of emotion threatening to drown me.Aries rolled his eyes. “You’re being dr
FRED Just for a few rounds of…I messed up by letting Rochelle go because of Gina. It’s a thought that haunted me day and night, gnawing at my insides like a relentless parasite. The night I lost Rochelle was burned into my memory, that moment when the door to our apartment slammed shut behind her, an echo of a love fractured by betrayal. I could still see the betrayal written all over her beautiful face, her eyes filled with hurt and anger. I had thrown everything away for a foolish mistake, and now the void of her absence pressed down on me like an enormous weight.Rochelle used to be everything to me. She wasn’t just my girlfriend; she was my help in school, my partner in laughter, the one who made ordinary days feel special. We met in college when we were both trying to navigate through the maze of exams and assignments. She would patiently study with me late into the night, helping me with subjects that seemed impossible. If it weren’t for her, I would have struggled to pa
ARIES We made an offer!I had watched Rochelle leave the house nearly every morning in search of a job, only to return every time looking sad and discouraged. The weariness on her face hit me like a slap in the face. I hated to see her like this, trying so hard but feeling so defeated. I often overheard her phone conversations, the polite refusals, the disheartened sighs. There was desperation in her eyes each time she walked out that door. I knew how much getting a job, just any job, meant to her, and it broke my heart to see her struggling. It was during one of those heavy moments, after watching her return home with drooped shoulders and a heavy sigh, that I decided to talk to Adrien about it. We'd always been close, even though we never always agreed on everything, and I figured now was the time to bring him into the loop. I felt an idea forming in my mind that might just help her out.“Adrien, can I talk to you?” I called out, walking toward the living room where he was
ROCHELLE Just a matter of time! I couldn't believe my luck when Aries and Adrien offered me a job in their company. Two bigwigs—powerful, intimidating, and drop-dead gorgeous—saw something in me. Me, Rochelle, an ordinary young lady with a passion for creative marketing but barely enough experience to turn heads. Yet, here I was, standing in front of them, feeling both overwhelmed and ecstatic, even though I did a good job masking it.The offer was beyond generous. The fact that I would be working from home while still pursuing my dream job made it all the more enticing. But I was careful not to show my excitement. I maintained a neutral expression, standing upright and professional, even though my heart was pounding in my chest."Thank you for the offer," I said calmly, clasping my hands in my lap to hide their trembling. "I'll think about it."Aries, the older of the two, gave me a slight nod. His dark, brooding eyes seemed to see right through me, as if he knew I’d alrea
AMBER Anything for the cash!I was about to enter the supermarket when I heard my name.“Amber!”At first, I simply brushed it off, thinking someone was calling for someone else. It was a bustling day, filled with the sounds of chatter and carts rolling over the pavement. I stepped toward the glass doors, the bright lights inside illuminating my path, when I heard it again.“Amber!”Curiosity caught me; I turned around. As I scanned the crowd, I saw a figure breaking away from a group of people. My heart started pattering as he drew closer, and I quickly recognized him. It was Fred, Rochelle’s ex-boyfriend.“Amber,” he called as he drew closer to me.“What do you want, Fred?” I asked when he finally reached me, a slight annoyance in my voice. I hadn’t seen him since he came to me asking about Rochelle, as if I was supposed to be her guardian angel, and I didn’t quite fancy running into him now.“I’m not following you everywhere,” he insisted, almost defensively, as if he could
ROCHELLE They still won't fuck me!I made it my mission to make Aries and Adrien fall for me. Living in that enormous mansion with the twins was like being in a real-life fairy tale. The walls around us were lavish, and every room looked like a page from a designer magazine. But the best part of this life was sharing it with the two most handsome guys I had ever met.At first, it was hard for me to get over the fact that they were twins, but I told myself that whoever fell for me first would be my choice. It made things a bit easier when I looked at them, especially since they were both so incredibly attractive. As days turned into weeks, I decided to act on my mission. I knew how to make them notice me, and I was ready to leverage that knowledge. I started wearing skimpy outfits that hugged my curves just right. Dresses that were a bit too short and tops that revealed just enough skin would definitely catch their eyes. I could see them glancing over every time I walked by,
ADRIEN The only way out!I felt a knot in my stomach as the cops carefully searched through our things. I could practically feel the tension in the air, like this whole encounter was a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off. After what felt like hours—although it was likely just a few minutes—the officers stepped back into the living room, empty-handed but not defeated. “We know you two have your hands dirty,” the lead officer said, fixing us both with a steely gaze. “You’re not as smart as you think you are. We will be keeping our eyes on you.”Aries scoffed. “You can’t prove anything against us. You’ve got nothing. We’re innocent. You found nothing on us, remember.”“You can play that game all you want,” the officer replied coldly. “But mark my words, we won’t be far behind you.”“Hope you keep up with the pace of the game,” Aries smiled.“We shall see about that,” he replied. With that, they turned and left, the door clicking shut behind them. The moment we were al
ADRIEN A City on FireThe tension in the city was thick enough to cut with a knife. I could feel it in the air every time I stepped outside. The streets that had once buzzed with life were now filled with an ominous silence, interrupted only by the distant sounds of sirens and gunfire. Each day brought new reports of gang wars escalating, innocent lives caught in the crossfire. My heart sank further with each headline I read or news bulletin I heard. This was no longer a city; it had become a battleground.Sitting in our living room that afternoon, I glanced over at Aries, who was scrolling through a news article on his phone. His face was set in a frown, evidence of the weight pressing down on his shoulders. Both of us had seen what this life did to the people of this city, yet here we were, playing our part in it. “Look at this, Adrien,” Aries said, his voice gruff. “Another shooting last night. A seven year old girl. Just like that, her li
ROCHELLEI broke the ice!The rhythmic sound of my heart thumped loudly in my ears as I lay in bed. I couldn’t shake the burning memory of dinner with Prince Herold from last night. The disdain he had for women echoed in my mind like a haunting song. How could someone so powerful be so disgustingly ignorant?Just as I settled deeper into my thoughts, a heavy bang jolted me awake.“Open the fucki
ROCHELLE Racist! As Dos Santos led me back toward the car, I couldn’t shake the feeling of disappointment. I had finally seen them again, and now I had to leave? Why was everything so complicated? The ride back to the mansion felt like a blur. I sat in silence, mulling over the events of the day. Deep down, I wished things were different, that I could just walk up to Aries and Adrien and tell them I was alive, that I was okay. Once we returned home, the maids were already waiting for me, dressed in their crisp uniforms, ready to prepare me for dinner. I had little choice in the matter; I could feel their urgency as they moved me to a lavish room filled with expensive beauty products.“Please, who is this boss?” I asked one of the maids while they applied makeup, but she remained silent as always, only smiling at me. It frustrated me to hell, honestly.“Is he important? What does he look like?” I couldn’t help but press. Again, I was met with silence and mo
ROCHELLEI saw them… Aries and Adrien!I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside the large window of my room. The sun streamed in, painting the walls golden. For a moment, I forgot where I was. My memories raced back, grabbing hold of me like a vise. I was no longer in my own home, but rather a mansion I didn’t recognize, hidden away in Tijuana, Mexico.Every morning was the same. I would stretch, taking in the lavish surroundings that felt eerily like a dream. I looked around a
ADRIEN More questions than answers! We moved from clinic to clinic, asking questions, scanning records, but still no sign of Rochelle. Frustration began sinking in, gnawing at the edges of our hopes. At one hospital, we were met with the same disheartening response—they had no record of her. I could feel the spark of hope dimming, giving way to doubt. “What if the sheriff was right?” I asked Aries, dread pooling in my stomach. “What if she really is gone? What if it was another person's autopsy result that was mistaken for Rochelle's?”A lot of what ifs.“No!” he snapped, determination coursing through him. “I refuse to believe that. Rochelle is strong. She wouldn’t just disappear into thin air without leaving us a clue as to what happened. Come on, don't tell me you've given up”“I don't know what to say,” I admitted.“Then let's talk less and act more,” he said. “We have a long way to go before we can call it quits,” he added. There was nothing to admire about his faith… bli
ADRIEN Searching for the dead!I could barely contain my excitement as I sat in the car next to Aries. It felt surreal that we were driving to the sheriff's office, finally about to confront the circumstances surrounding Rochelle. The thought that she might still be alive was like a burning flame in my chest. We hadn’t spoken much since we got the news, but every glance I tossed at Aries echoed the same sentiment. Hope.“Can you believe it?” I said, breaking the silence that clung heavily between us. “Rochelle might actually be out there!”Aries turned to me, his expression a mixture of disbelief and excitement. “I can’t. I always thought... I thought we’d lost her for good. After everything.”I nodded, feeling my pulse quickening as we pulled into the small parking lot of the sheriff’s office. “Let’s find out how far they’ve gone in trying to find her. We need to know, dammit.”We entered the building, and instantly I felt the change in atmosphere. The walls carried a weight
DELIGHT Covering my tracks! The world stood still when I heard the news. My chest tightened, and for a moment, I couldn’t breathe. The autopsy showed that Rochelle was not the woman buried. What? How?My nails dug into the soft leather of the armchair as the information sank in. It couldn’t be. I had made sure of it. Rochelle was supposed to be dead, lying six feet under, with no way of ever coming back to haunt me. But now, the news confirmed what I feared the most. I clenched my fists so tightly that my knuckles turned white.“Are you okay, Delight?” Adrien’s voice cut through my racing thoughts.I quickly schooled my expression, offering him a weak smile. “Of course. Why wouldn’t I be?”But they weren’t looking at me. Aries and Adrien were completely engrossed in the news report on the TV. For the first time in several weeks, I saw the fire in their eyes, the spark that Rochelle’s supposed death had dimmed. And it made my blood boil.“Did you hear that?” Aries said,
ROCHELLE Another dead body!I could tell something was wrong the moment Dos Santos stepped into the room. His calm and confident demeanor was replaced by a stiffness in his posture and a tension in his eyes. Dr. Alvarez, who was checking my vitals, noticed too.“I'll be right back,” he said to me.I watched as he moved toward Dos Santos, and they began speaking in low tones near the door. They were speaking in Spanish, fast and hushed, and while I couldn’t catch much, I knew it had to be about me. Their occasional glances toward me as they spoke only confirmed it. I tried to focus, to make out a word or two, but my Spanish wasn’t good enough. All I could do was watch, anxiety knotting in my stomach. When Dr. Alvarez finally returned, his face carried a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. “I’ll send Nurse Isabella to attend to you later,” he said, his tone overly cheerful. “I'll see you later,” he added.“Is something wrong?” I asked, my voice laced with suspicion.“No, not a
