Misha’s POV
I came home to find Mama and Papa waiting by the door. They immediately bombarded me with questions about my conversation with Godfather Everett. I told them exactly what happened—no lies, no omissions. I laid everything bare. They were overjoyed because, at last, Papa’s long-held plan was starting to take shape.
For me, they should have seen that I wasn’t thrilled about what they wanted me to do. But deep down, I was starting to like it because of what happened with Godfather Everett. If that night hadn’t occurred, I would’ve kept saying no to their plans.
Fate sure knows how to play tricks. Maybe it was destiny’s way of bringing me closer to my yummy Godfather.
When I got to my room, I immediately opened my laptop to look up Godfather Everett on social media. I searched his full name, and it didn’t take long to find him. Everett Tani. I started stalking his profile right away. First, I looked at his display pictures. My body tingled at the sight of his topless photos. He looked better than a model with that body of his. He really knew how to pose—like a pro. I couldn’t believe this godfather of mine was the one who took my virginity that night. As I kept scrolling through his photos, I couldn’t help but touch myself. Every time I stared at one of his topless pictures, I felt a warmth between my thighs. My stalking turned into a full-blown session of pleasuring myself. I didn’t stop until I was satisfied.
Then my phone rang, breaking my trance. I saw the name of my best friend, Jaye, on the screen.
“Yes, girl?” I greeted her.
“Have you heard about Jake—your oh-so-beloved boyfriend?” she asked, her tone immediately making me nervous. I realized we hadn’t spoken since that night. I was puzzled, too, because he hadn’t reached out to me either. “He’s so gross, Misha.”
“Why? What did you find out about him?” I asked.
“Girl, it’s a good thing you didn’t give up your purity to him. Did you know he got two women pregnant at the same time?”
“What?! Two women? Are you saying he was fooling around with other girls while we were still together?” I couldn’t contain my anger. I had truly loved Jake, seriously and wholeheartedly. Knowing now that he impregnated two women, I couldn’t help but feel relieved that he didn’t end up taking my virginity that night. Thank goodness it was my yummy godfather instead. Otherwise, I might’ve been the third woman to get pregnant by him. If that happened, I’d only add to the problems in our household. For some reason, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. It felt like fate had led me to that accidental night with Godfather Everett.
“Thanks for the heads-up, Jaye. I’ll hang up now—I need to call him. It’s about time I broke up with him.”
“Go, girl. That’s the right move. I thought you might still fight for your relationship, even knowing he got two women pregnant.”
I smirked and let out a short laugh. “I’m not an idiot, Jaye. Besides, I’ve set my sights on someone new. Someone hotter, richer, with a better body, and most importantly, more blessed, if you know what I mean.”
Jaye laughed loudly on the other end of the line. “You’re such a flirt now. Wait, is this the guy you went on a date with? Spill the tea! Who is it? Don’t tell me you’ve already given it up!”
When it came to topics like this, Jaye was relentless with her questions. She wanted all the details right away. But since nothing was concrete yet, I decided to keep things under wraps for now.
“I think we’ll talk about him another time. For now, let me deal with my annoying boyfriend. Let’s grab coffee soon, and I’ll tell you everything,” I said before bidding her goodbye.
After hanging up, I dialed Jake’s number. He answered almost immediately.
“You piece of sh*t. You’re the worst! You’re a demon, a liar, a cheater, and a useless scumbag! While we were together, you were out screwing other girls, you filthy animal! We’re done. I don’t deserve someone as worthless as you!” I was panting, my rage consuming me.
“Wait, Misha. Don’t leave me like this. You’re the only one who truly understands me, and now you’re leaving?” He was so good at playing the victim. He’d often use this tactic to win me over. But this time, no way.
“I’ve already met someone new. Someone better-looking, more successful, and far more valuable than you. He’s a CEO of a big company here in the Philippines. So if I’m going to force myself to stay with someone as worthless as you, forget it. You’ve got no purpose in life, and yet you still managed to screw things up by getting two women pregnant. I hope you rot in jail for that. And please, don’t ever call or text me again because from this moment on, you’re dead to me. You’re out of my life and my heart.” My breathing was labored, and tears started to fall because I had genuinely loved this jerk. I truly cared for him, only to find out he was casually cheating with other women. Disgusting.
“Before I end this call, let me repeat: f*ck you, Jake. I regret ever loving you. You’re disgusting!”
He was about to say something, but I hung up before he could.
I broke down into sobs. But as I cried, my eyes landed once again on a topless picture of Godfather Everett. My tears stopped as a thought crossed my mind—why was I wasting tears on such a worthless man? I’d rather waste my juices than my tears.
So I went back to what I was doing earlier. Instead of crying over that useless jerk, I focused all my attention on my Godfather Everett. But now, I wonder—do I even have a chance of making him fall for me?
Everett’s POV“Hey! You’ve been staring blankly for a while now, Everett. Are you okay?” Garil asked. We were inside a coffee shop. I had invited him here because I needed some papers from him regarding someone I had asked him to do a background check on. Based on what I found out about Misha’s boyfriend, it seems like he’s no match for me if it comes to a confrontation. He’s just a good-for-nothing freeloader. On top of that, he’s gotten a lot of women pregnant. Good thing I got to Misha first. Otherwise, she might have been one of those girls knocked up by that Jake guy on that night.“You idiot. I can’t stop thinking about what happened between me and Misha. It’s messing with my head that the girl I took virginity from that night also happens to be my goddaughter,” I replied irritably. I had been spacing out because I couldn’t shake the image of Misha from my mind, naked, with my essence dripping from her. Every time I think about it, I can’t help but feel aroused. She was so tight
Misha’s POV After dinner, Ninong Everett surprised everyone by suggesting he take a look at my room. “I’d love to see your room,” he said, flashing his usual charming smile.I almost choked on my water. Why would he want to see my room? And why did he have to say it in front of my parents?Mama and Papa, however, seemed oddly supportive. “Of course, go ahead!” Mama said with a laugh. “Show your room to, Everett. We’ll just finish up here.”“Go on,” Papa added, nodding. “We’re fine here.”Embarrassed but unable to refuse, I stood and gestured toward the stairs. “Alright, this way,” I said quietly. As we entered my room, I felt the weight of the awkwardness between us. I cleared my throat, trying to break the silence. “It’s nothing special, really. Just your typical room,” I said, gesturing toward the bed, the desk cluttered with notebooks, and a shelf lined with books and trinkets.Everett smiled, his eyes scanning the space. “It’s cozy,” he said. “It suits you.”I stood awkwardly nea
Misha's POVToday, Godfather Everett took me to one of their hotel resorts. He picked me up at our house at nine in the morning, and by ten, we had arrived at their grand hotel resort. I was in awe of the towering buildings. He said that all the staff here are close to his uncles and aunts—spies or informants about his life’s happenings. When we got inside, people started looking at us and greeting Everett. We sat at a table near the pool area. He called a staff member and ordered a drink. While he sipped his wine, I drank juice. He wouldn’t let me have alcohol, saying it might harm the baby in case I’m already pregnant.“This hotel resort of yours is huge, Everett,” I said, glancing around the area.“Please, just keep smiling the whole time, Misha. Some of the staff are already taking pictures of us. That way, you’ll look good in their shots,” he whispered, taking a sip of his wine.I adjusted my hair and started smiling more.“Don’t look around too much. They might notice you’re loo
Misha’s POVI was shocked when I woke up late. I didn’t hear the alarm on my phone. Today is the birthday party of our college class president—a grand event—so I cannot be late. I need to prepare since this is the perfect chance for everyone to share their career achievements, travel experiences, hobbies, and passions.Good thing I went shopping yesterday with my generous godfather, Godfather Everett. Now, I can finally use the luxurious items he bought me.“So, what are you wearing, girl?” Jaye asked while we were on a video call, both doing our makeup.“Just wait and see,” I replied with a smile.“Hey, Misha, FYI, we’re supposed to wear cocktail dresses,” she reminded me, as if I didn’t know how to read emails.“Yeah, I know,” I said quickly. “You know what, Jaye? You should just focus on getting ready yourself instead of bothering me.”“Fine! Suit yourself. But I’ve already told you what you need to wear!”I just nodded and ended the call. Once I was alone in my room, I focused on
Misha’s POVThe party had started. Just like the birthday celebrant, the program was weird. It was boring—just singing performances, and even those were all old songs. There was nothing special. If there was, it would only be the food and the giveaways. Most of the guests seemed sleepy. So, some of them decided to create their own moments to enjoy. There was a group at one table constantly taking pictures. I’ll admit, most of them looked better now. Well, plastic surgery is trendy these days. My former classmates clearly have money now. Those flat noses from before are now pointed. Some who used to be dark-skinned are now so fair, as if they’re drinking glutathione daily. And those who were nerdy back in the day? They’ve suddenly become hot.At our table, we were quiet, simply observing what our former classmates were doing. But after some wine, a few of them started becoming chatty."Hey, Misha, how have you been? I heard you’re filthy rich now," Trixie asked. She was the school bitc
Misha's POVI’m standing in front of the big mirror in my room, staring at my reflection. I’m trying to see if I can even compete with that woman. Ever since I saw her yesterday at the birthday party, I haven’t been able to get her words out of my head. I won’t let her take my yummy Godfather away. No way!I walked back to my bed, picked up my phone, and called Godfather Everett. I needed to see him right away.“Oh, you called?”He answered so quickly. He sounded surprised. I could hear voices in the background.“Don’t we have plans? I want to get out of the house,” I said immediately. For all I know, that beautiful woman from yesterday might already be hanging around him. It’s better if I’m the one who gets to him first. I felt a bit shameless asking him out like this, but I didn’t care.“Misha, sorry, I’m in a meeting right now. I’m at work, so let’s talk later, okay?” he said before hanging up abruptly, not even waiting for my response.I placed my phone on the bed and left my room
Everett’s POV“What’s the update on your godchild?” Garil asked. We’re currently at the opening of our new hotel resort here in Batangas.“Everything’s fine. I’m just waiting for her to get pregnant,” I replied while keeping my eyes on my aunt and uncle, who were busy entertaining our VIP guests. They were really soaking it in, acting as if they were the ones running all the family’s businesses and managing the wealth. They were clearly enjoying the spotlight while I haven’t taken full control of everything yet.For now, I let them have their moment. I know that eventually, everything will fall into my hands. It’s non-negotiable—everything truly belongs to me. I just don’t understand why my father had to make things so complicated. He knows his brother is greedy when it comes to wealth, yet he entrusted him with everything while I haven’t fulfilled his final wish. Maybe he did this deliberately to push me to act because he knows I detest his brother. I’ve always despised Uncle Gerald.
Misha’s POVGodfather Everett called me to go to his condo. He said he couldn’t pick me up because he wasn’t feeling well today. I didn’t know why he wanted me to go there since he didn’t give me any reason. I just got ready and headed over. I already knew his condo number, so I didn’t need to stop at the front desk. Yummy Godfather had already informed his staff about my arrival. When I arrived at the hotel, I went straight to the elevator and pressed the button for the 40th floor, where his condo is. I could tell it was a presidential suite. As the elevator doors opened, I walked down the hallway. His condo was at the end, so I had quite a long walk ahead. I passed by some staff along the way. They were polite and smiled warmly at visitors. And honestly, there didn’t seem to be a single unattractive staff member here. They were all gorgeous and handsome. The Tani family is truly extraordinary. They own so many businesses, and they all rake in massive profits. Now, I’m sure this hote
Misha’s POVHere I am, lying in the bathtub full of bubbles while sipping tea. The liquid soap I used smells amazing. It's really different when you're wealthy—everything they have is top-notch and high-quality. Yummy Godfather is still in the living room, watching a series. I told him I'd take a bath since I might end up sleeping here. I just want to spend the night with him. But if he doesn’t allow it, that’s fine; I’ll just go home. What matters is that I accomplished my mission of taking care of him. After bathing, I prepared dinner. He said he wanted soup, so I made chicken tinola. It’s perfect for someone who’s sick. I know he hasn’t tried it before, so I decided to cook it for him.“What kind of dish is that?” he asked, pointing at the tinola I served when I set it on the table.“It’s good for sick people. Go ahead, try it—it’s delicious,” I said as I poured water into his glass. He scooped some soup and chicken into his bowl and tasted it. While he did that, I watched him inte
Misha’s POVWhen I woke up, my yummy godfather was no longer beside me. My eyes were still heavy with sleep as I glanced around the room. Not even a shadow of Everett was in sight, so I decided to get up. Sitting on the bed, I stretched and yawned. I had slept so well.I checked the time and realized it was almost four in the afternoon. I’d missed lunch—and so had my patient. I stood up and left the room.Outside, I heard sounds of cooking coming from the kitchen. I walked over and found Everett cooking.“Hey, why are you doing that? You’re still sick,” I scolded him as I approached.“I’m feeling a bit better now. I was hungry since we missed lunch, so I thought I’d cook something,” he replied, but I still took the spatula from him.“Everett, you’ll make yourself worse. You should’ve woken me up.” I took over what he was cooking. It looked like pork adobo, which I was familiar with.“Well, you looked so peaceful sleeping. I wanted to wake you, but I couldn’t bring myself to. Besides,
Misha's POVI opened the door and faced Maddison. I could see the shock on her face when she saw me."Who the hell are you?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. First meeting, and she already gave me an attitude. Damn, she’s gorgeous up close. Her face is envy-inducing. I can’t compete with this woman. My confidence drops whenever she’s around.“I think I should be the one asking that. Who are you, and what do you need?” I asked, even though I already knew who she was. I couldn’t help but address her formally.“I’m Maddison, his friend. Where’s Everett? We’re leaving; we’re going to visit a friend of ours,” she said, her face still full of sass. She’s a walking English-era diva, making me feel even more out of her league, as if she’s high-class, and I’m not.“Sorry, Miss Maddison, but Everett isn’t accepting visitors right now. He’s down with a fever, so maybe another day,” I replied, and her jaw dropped.“Really? Oh no, is he okay? How is he?” she asked, suddenly looking concerned. She tr
