Pedro promptly parked his car in the garage of his house. He then went to pull the door handle, but his movement halted when Camila showed no intention of getting out of the car yet.

"Why?" Pedro asked, causing Camila to gaze at him hesitantly.

"How about we go to my apartment instead," Camila suggested, causing Pedro to exhale deeply. Just a few hours ago, they had a lengthy debate about where Camila would stay temporarily after the surgery. Today, Camila was indeed allowed to leave the hospital, but the doctor advised her to still be cautious as her wound had not fully healed. Pedro suggested that Camila stay at his house temporarily so he could monitor her and take care of her more freely than if she were alone in her apartment.

"Didn't we discuss a few hours ago that I didn't allow you to return to the apartment alone? It's better for you to stay at my house for now. That way, I can take care of you more attentively," Pedro's words made Camila silent.
