Camila descended the stairs, tightening the scarf wrapped around her shoulders. As she walked, Camila continued to survey the large house that was now her residence. Camila's current destination was Pedro's side garden, visible from her room on the second floor, piquing her curiosity about the garden. Previously, Pedro had never taken Camila around his house, leading Camila to mistakenly enter several other rooms before finding her way to the side garden on her last attempt.

Camila gazed at the vast garden, overgrown with grass, and there were several flower pots that had begun to wither and might soon die, causing Camila to sigh deeply. It was a shame that the beautiful plants were left unattended. Pedro must not have much time to take care of them, to the point where the plants seemed neglected, Camila thought.
