Fallon was seated at a table in the corner, surrounded by a group of well-dressed men and women. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail, her sharp features illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight.

As our eyes met across the room, a cold smile curled the corners of her lips. I let out a shaky smile as my heart skipped a beat while anxiety silently beat me up.

As I walked in her direction, she kept her eyes on me, her creepy smile making me feel like I was in a horror movie. “Hi,” I greeted her when I reached her table.

The men and women that were at her table talking all went quiet as they watched me.

“I would have to excuse myself, people. I have some important business to be done,” She said as she stood to her feet.

The dress she was wearing was very short and it showed off her breasts very well. She flashed her colleagues a smile before walking away with me right on her tail.

We went to a much quieter part of the club, and when I said quiet, I did not mean that the

With Fallon’s chilling instructions echoing in my mind, I felt a wave of panic crash over me. How could I possibly carry out such a task? I was no killer; I was just an ordinary woman caught up in a nightmare of lies and deceit. She flashed me a cold smile before walking away, leaving me standing there by myself with so many thoughts running through my mind. What was I supposed to do now? At first, when I had the CEO killed, I did not do it on my own. I had help from Maddie, Jojo, and the guy in the suit. But now, I was alone and the pressure was killing me. The risks were high and I was in no way trained for this. But again, time was running out and I could not afford to hesitate any longer. Taking a deep breath, I tried to push aside the fear and uncertainty clouding my mind. I needed a plan, a way to approach this situation without putting myself or anyone else in danger. But every idea that crossed my mind seemed futile and reckless. With trembling hands, I reached for my ph

Victor leaned in, his words hung in the air, causing my breath to hitch. I sort of knew that he was going to say something along those lines but hearing them still came as a shock. This could be a way to do what Fallon had asked me to do. It was risky and made me feel very dirty but if it would be the cost of getting this done, then I think I was going to do what he was suggesting. But hold up! I don’t mean actually having sex with the guy! Just leading him on until I find a way to end his life. Gosh, this was certainly not the life that I had envisioned for myself. “Really? Who said that?” I led him on. He chuckled deeply, enjoying that I was entertaining his little game. He shrugged. “I don’t know, a blog, scientist, or someone important. I don’t know, but I do know that it works.” He proceeded to place his hands around my hips. I felt the need to push him away but I needed this charade to be believable, so I let him do what he was doing. Gosh, this felt all kinds of wrong. A

I continued to play my part, feigning a mix of annoyance and seduction as I leaned against Victor, waiting for the tension to ease. There were obstacles, but everything was still going according to plan; not that I had some fixed plan anyway. As the guards reluctantly stepped aside, he led me away, his presence as a shield against any further interference. With each step, I knew that this was getting more real. Once out of earshot, Victor turned to me, a smirk playing on his lips. “Looks like we’re free to go,” He said, his voice tinged with amusement. “You handle pressure quite well.” He seemed pleased. I forced a smile, masking the turmoil within. “Just part of the game,” I replied, my tone casual despite the turmoil brewing beneath the surface. We walked out of the club until we reached the parking area. “Damn, I want to f*ck you so bad,” He said to me as we walked to his car. But I did not want us to use his car, it could tracked. I did not want anything to lead back to me. “

  • Secrets, Seduction, & Serenity   Do Or Die

Was I going to do this? Was I really going to do this? An image of Chris flashed in my mind and I could not help but feel a pang of pain his my chest. This would be the second time that I would be doing something like this. The first was with the CEO, and now it was with this mafia boss, or whoever he was. I did not like it. I did not like it at all. I just wanted to close my eyes and when I opened them, it’d all just be a dream. But in this case, a nightmare. “What are you waiting for?” A voice startled me, dragging me back to reality. I then noticed that it was Victor. “Wh–what?” I asked, still trying to process it all. “What are you doing? I told you to take off that dress, didn’t I?” He spoke in a tone that annoyed me. But as I said, I was on a mission, I could not let my emotions get in the way. I swallowed, proceeding to reach for the zipper for my dress. It was located on the right-hand side so it was much easier to undo myself. He watched me as I did, like a lion watchi

My heart raced as Victor’s eyes blazed with fury. I scrambled to my feet, clutching the razor tightly, my mind racing for an escape plan. Because how in the world was I going to fight this man who looked like he could lift ten times my weight in the gym.But before I could even take a step, Victor lunged at me with a ferocity that sent chills down my spine. I dodged his attack just in time, feeling the rush of adrenaline coursing through my veins. I was going to die! With trembling hands, I held up the razor defensively, ready to use it if necessary. This was so much different; so much chaotic than when I had to deal with the CEO. “You think you can betray me?” Victor’s voice was a menacing growl as he advanced towards me, his eyes glinting with malice. “You’re nothing but a worthless tramp!” His words stung, even though I knew that I was not who he had said I was. But the thing was, at this point, could I say I was not? In order to do Fallon’s bidding, I had to throw myself at me

Time seemed to stand still. Everything did as I plunged the razor forward with all the strength that I could muster. It found its mark, piercing Victor’s flesh with a sickening sound that made me nauseous. His eyes widened in shock and pain as he staggered backward, a crimson liquid gushing out of the wound. It seemed like he wanted to fight back but he could not bring himself to do that. For a moment, there was silence, broken only by the sound of our ragged breaths. Then, with a low groan, he collapsed to the ground, his lifeblood pooling around him. I stood there, trembling with a mixture of fear and adrenaline, unable to comprehend what I had just done. But as the reality of my actions sank in, a sense of grim satisfaction washed over me. I had done it. I had taken down the man who stood in the way of me doing Fallon’s bidding. It felt so good but also so awful. I was relieved, I would say that. This man could have easily killed me. So now, this was my second body count. I ha

The silence was loud as I stood there, waiting for my husband to say something; anything. My heart was thundering to the point that I think I could even hear it. My throat was dry and my breathing was heavy as I waited. Chris took a shaky breath, his hands trembling as he struggled to find the words. “I can’t believe I didn’t see it sooner,” He whispered, his voice choked with emotion. “I can’t believe I didn’t see who you really are.” My heart sank as I watched the pain and betrayal etched into every line of his face. I wanted to reach out to him, to explain, to beg for forgiveness. But I still did not know what he was talking about. I needed to be sure before I gave myself away. “What do you mean?” I managed to choke out, my voice barely above a whisper as I took a tentative step towards him. He turned away from me, his shoulders hunched with the weight of his sorrow. “I mean…I mean all of it,” He muttered, his voice heavy with accusation. “The lies, the secrets…the distance b

I did not want to keep holding onto the photographs, so I placed them back in the folder and gently put them down on the coffee table. Chris’s expression softened for a moment, confusion flickering in his eyes. “Then what is this?” He demanded, gesturing to the damning evidence spread out before us. I took a deep breath, gathering my courage to reveal the truth, no matter how damning it may be. Yes, I was not going to let my marriage fail because of Fallon, I had already lost my will and life. I could tell Chris the truth and tell him not to tell anyone. I’m sure he would do that for me. But was he going to forgive me for what I did with the CEO and Victor? Was he going to forgive me for selling my body and seducing them, just to end up killing them in the end?“Listen to me, please,” I began, my voice shaky but resolute. “I have been keeping secrets from you, but not the ones you think.” He folded his arms across his chest, skepticism plastered on his face. “Go on,” He said, his

In seconds he was out of the room. Kirby flashed me a sad look before her features hardened again. She then walked out, the doctor guy following her.I sniffled and then sobbed out even more. I was beginning to smell gasoline, the smell was overwhelming. Sh*t, they were going to burn us up. My vision got blurred for a few seconds before I blinked the tears away, making it clear again. The door opened and I saw Kirby and th

My heart was thumping in my chest and more tears threatened to spill from my eyes due to fear.“You better hope she answers, we are on a tight schedule,” Kirby warned me in a hard tone. I was praying for that too. “Call her again, maybe her phone is on Do Not Disturb,” I tried to find an explanation.“Hmm,” She mumbled in response before deciding to make the call again. This time, Fallon answers on the third ring.I let out a breath that I did not know I was holding. Kirby brought the phone close to me and put it on speakerphone. “This better be important, because I’m very busy right now,” Fallon said, it sounded like she was on a busy street because I could hear the sound of cars and people being people in the background. “It is,” I replied. “Fallon, I need your help; Chris and I have been kidnapped. Linda’s POVBeing bound was not a nice experience, the ropes were so tight that every time I would try to move, they would pinch my skin. But I had made my decision, I wanted to come out of here alive. I wanted my baby to come out of here alive, so I was going to do everything I was told to do no matter how messed up it would be.Kirby and the guy who I thought was a doctor soon walked out of the room, leaving me with the guy who was not too far from me.I knew it was a man because of his build but I could not tell who he was. He was wearing old and ragged clothes and seemed to be unconscious because his head was bent over in a weak way.“Are you okay?” I asked, attempting to see if he was awake even though I felt he was not. There was no reply. So I sighed and then glanced around the room, looking to see if I could find a way of escape, but it seemed like the only way to get out here was through the door. There were two windows in the room but both of them had iron bars that did not

Linda’s POVThe car soon came to a stop, it had been a long ride. “Take her inside,” Kirby commanded and the Doctor did as he was asked. He opened the door and got down before gesturing that I do the same. I did not want to be hurt and did not want my baby to be hurt either so I did as he told me. I got down from the car and glanced around. It was now dark but the lights from on the property were impressively bright. Acres of land stretched from both sides that I looked at, and a huge stood not too far from me. It looked like a castle. It was stunning but it had a dark energy that caused my heart to skip a beat. I already knew who was behind this. I mean, I had my suspicions at first but they had now been confirmed. The thought of Chris entered my mind and I felt a heaviness that I could not ignore. Why did they have me tell him that I was on a street that we were miles away from? Had it been a way to get him alone so they could harm him? Oh my gosh, I did not know what I would do

Chris’s POVKidnapped? The word rang in my ear over and over, and I could barely hear a thing after she had said that. The car behind mine honked loudly and I was pulled out of my trance. “Clink Street? You said you’re being held at Clink Street?” I needed to make sure that I had heard her right. “Yes…” Her voice broke before a shudder followed shortly after. Then the call dropped. I tried to call but there was no answer. So I tried again; again and again. And with the cars honking behind me as I was parked at the traffic light, blocking their way, I knew that I had to put it all aside for only a few seconds. My mind raced as I tried to make sense of what had just happened. Lind, my wife, was kidnapped. The thought was incomprehensible, surreal. But I could not afford to dwell on it. I had to act, I had to act fast. With a deep breath, I refocused on the present. The light that was was still green, so I finally drove and ignored the road rage that I was getting as I pulled to the

Dr. Adam’s smile faded, replaced by a chilling expression that sent shivers down my spine. “You, Linda,” He said softly, his ice blue eyes locking onto mine with unsettling intensity, “You’re not going to another room as you already can tell, you’re going to a little place called ‘Pay Back’.” I immediately jumped out of the wheelchair and tried to run for my life but I fell to the hard ground. We were in the parking place, basement level. “Help!” I screamed at the top of my lungs but it was like there was not even a soul there. As I hit the ground, pain shot through my body, but fear propelled me to my feet again. Adrenaline surged through my veins as I fought to escape, but Dr. Adam was quick to react. Linda’s POVI could barely speak, the pain overwhelming me as I doubled over on the bathroom floor. Every fiber of my being screamed with agony, and I feared for the safety of my unborn child. I already knew what it was, what was causing the pain. This was not my first rodeo, it was not the first time that it had happened. I wanted to ask how that was even possible. But I already knew the answer to that. Power, money, and influence. They had found a way to disappear because of who they were. “What do you mean disappeared?” Chris demanded, his voice smeared with urgency. “How could a prison transport vehicle just f*cking disappear?” Sergeant Thompson’s tone remained solemn. “We are still trying to ascertain the details, but it appears to have been a deliberate act. We suspect foul play.” “Of course, there was,” I heard Fallon say under her breath before letting out a string of curses. The car we were in was more of a van and we could all fit in easily. My mind raced with so many possibilities, each one more terrifying than the last. Had all of this been orchestrated from the start? Was he planning revenge right n
