Veronica's Pov

Blake had finally returned to the palace because of Liliana's visit. The Queen was right when she said she knew the only way to get Blake back was if the council , requested for Liliana's presence at the palace. She had pretended not to be aware of the meeting between the council and Liliana. If there was anything Blake wouldn't want to stay off from ,that would be the throne.

I wasn't in support of her using the case with the council to get Blake home, what if they eventually handed over the mantle of leadership to Lily, then I wouldn't be able to be the crowned princess anymore.
