Rock was silent, brows slightly creased, eyes lazily staring at the lips of each person that had an opinion to give with no interest in them. They were obviously saying something important but he didn't care at the moment. He kept tapping his finger impatiently under the large conference table, hoping the boring meeting could end sooner.

There were many voices in the room, laying down their thoughts and ideas about the new business project, but the only voice that seemed to penetrate into his hazy mind, occupying it, was that of his secretary. The picture of her teary innocent blue eyes kept flashing vividly in his head, causing him to lose concentration on the meeting.

He didn't know why he was like this or why the thought of his secretary had him on edge and restless. However, he kept blaming himself for making her cry. If only he hadn't let anger take over him. This was his thought as he continued to think of ways to get her to forgive him.
