I kept thinking over what happened between me and my boss as I walked home. Unlike me, I felt less excited about going home today. I couldn't help wanting to see him before going but he never showed up at the office.

A little part of me blames myself for running away like that. He was just trying to apologize, but who does that by ordering the whole restaurant?

Sighing deeply, I just shook my head as I tried to unlock the door. But then the door was suddenly flung open, causing me to flinch in surprise.

"Are you ready to come inside now?" I saw Hannah grinning at me.

"You startled me, Hannah." I glared at her while griping my chest.

"And why so?" she asked, raising her brows suspiciously at me. "The last time I checked, you're not the only tenant in this apartment."

"Why are you home so early?" I asked, ignoring the teasing smile on her face. It's obvious she wanted to make fun of my frustrated expression.

Shee just chuckled, opening the door wider as I walked in.
