SSHS 205 Such a ton of questions posed inside their heads continued to exist. They have a plateau of information right in their hands and yet there is nothing that they can do about it. It is an ironic way of saying that they are at a dead end and yet it seems that there are a lot of paths and options that they can think of. At a loss for words, they were slowly leaning to the idea of asking for help from the senior spies and the ISO. “Hey, do you still have that handwriting?” Albert asked to his spy partner who was lurking through the window covered with a curtain. Hestia turned her head towards Albert as she walked backwards and away from the window. They are currently back in his room: Hestia went there the same way that she did from last time. “Yeah, I still have that. I have only the digital copy with me though.” Hestia replied as she showed the screen of her phone, showcasing the scan of the letter that she found at the rooftop of the Club Building. “And we already did a scan
SSHS 206 Hestia did not understand what her partner was going for, nor does she have any idea or a lead somehow. He just stared at the screen of his computer and then looked at him as his grin got wider and wider as he scrolled through the contents. This felt like it will not yield any new thing for them to work on. “What is this all about really?” Hestia asked, her tone a bit annoyed and she began to become restless to her space. She walked from right to left and left to right, walking in semi circles around Albert. “Albert just scrolled down and down and never bothered to answer his spy partner. He then uttered a soft, “Found it!” as he hurriedly clicked on a photo and grabbed Hestia to be still. “Here. Look at this.” Albert said and showed Hestia of his findings. Highlighted in his screen was a single picture of another piece of paper.
SSHS 207 Looking at the screen, there was a clear semblance between the piece of paper and the paper that was used in the envelope Hestia found in the Club Building rooftop. Indeed, she forgot to look at this point of view. She immediately assumed that there will be someone who has the same handwriting as the one inside the envelope and from there they will find the person responsible for doing so. She was looking for the fastest way to solve the question, to find the exit for this mission--- to end it all that she was viewing things in a linear and parallel ways only. She forgot to turn her head from left to right and notice the other things in the picture. In fact, it was not about the handwriting at all, but another factor that was always there and Hestia forgot to look at. Luckily, Albert was able to notice such and fill in the places that Hestia lacked in--- they are indeed a perfect tag team when it comes to this. Maybe it came from a long time of bondi
SSHS 208 At last, Aaron was able to escape the clutches of the people who seem to cannot stop their small talks and what not. It was visible that Aaron let out a sigh of relief once he was out of the building. It might be a good thing for Hestia to follow him with her exiting in the main door, but it would be deemed suspicious: she was in the dark, silently watching and then all of a sudden she will appear out of nowhere and exit the building— the other participants will surely suspect her identity— worst case scenario, they will stop her and ask her a ton of question. Aside from that, it was very obvious that everyone in that auction knows each other, if not for the intimate and deep sense, then at least some type of friends. It is indeed risky for her. So, Hestia deemed it better to just go out the way that she went in. climbing up to the third floor, she spotted the window that she entered in and she jumped out. But she was strategic with it as instead of going down, she jumped
SSHS 209 Once Hestia was at the edge of the alleyway to which she will pretend to have stumbled upon with Aaron; creating a perfect opportunity to talk to him and have him start a conversation with her. She just hopes that this will go without a hitch. Hestia waited a bit longer until she heard that familiar tapping of shoes unto the floor--- the familiar steps of a Basketball Star Player--- it is still baffling on how spies were able to differentiate the different steps of many people and then isolate just one. Nonetheless, Hestia inhaled and took a deep breath and readied herself for what she was about to do. Once Aaron was closer to her location, she immediately went out of the alleyway and pretended that she was talking to someone on her phone. She was busy arguing with someone that she did not notice the tall guy that was going her way. She bumped to a wall--- no, she bumped to Aaron and that sent the two stepping backwards and regaining their balances
SSHS 210 “I just know that you are up to something and it has something to do with Freya. I can offer my help to help you achieve whatever that or you can just help me, which ever way it is, this is a win- win situation.” Aaron leaned more in to the table and said those things in a serious and yet whisper like tone. His eyes were sharp and bearing of fear and bravery at the same time and the two rookie undercover spies do not know what to do of the situation. This is a complete turn of events--- a complete 180 degrees--- a major plot twist to the happenings and such an offer, is indeed tempting to take. However, precaution is a must, they may not know what lurks behind the offer of the Basketball Star Player and they are uncertain overall. Albert has to wave his hands in the air to make the Basketball Star Player to stop talking and let the two rookie undercover spy do some internatilization of the information they have just received. It was a total shock. “Hold on for a sec
SSHS 211 Albert and Hestia soon began their work. From the information that they have gathered from Aaron yesterday, it seemed that the villain of the story is Freya all along and they are being spun in her web the further that they entertain her requests and pleas for help. “I cannot believe we almost fell for that trap.” Albert grumbled under his breath as he arranged all of the cables, wires and gadgets that were scattered in his dorm room--- it became so cluttered that he could not see the floor anymore and the dorm lord ordered him to clean his stuff up or else he would throw it out himself. As of the moment, Hestia and Albert were talking through a phone call--- while Albert was cleaning his place, Hestia, on the other hand, was busy arranging her bulletin board that was hidden in her walls. Her usual bulletin board was not enough anymore, she needed a bigger one and fortunately, she has a couple of other bulletin boards stored in her closet t
SSHS 212 It was the darkest part of his life yet. And there is no way that he will be able to forget not even a single detail about that time, about that day… he can never forget. That is the only contribution that he can do in the name of forgiveness and retribution. It was all that he can muster at the moment as he is still being a coward of some of the things that he encounters in life. He might tremble at the face of a police officer or even flinch at the sudden wail of a siren whether far afar or nearby. No matter what, such fear creeps inside his veins continuously as he holds that secret deep within him and no one knows about it. No one must know about it or else it would be his doom. It would be his end. He would rather die than let anyone know about it, he would rather end his life than spill the beans about it. That is how determined he was in keeping it a secret. After all, it was a grave sin that he made in order to satisfy the desires and greed that he had accumulated
