Chapter 64 Face to Face

Laura walked inside with a cold face and closed the bedroom door.

When Shona saw what Laura was doing, she placed the money in her hand back under the pillow.

"What are you doing, you bastard? I thought you were going to see your grandmother. What are you doing in my room?" asked Shona.

Laura didn't continue to walk inside. Instead, she stood where she was and crossed her arms in front of her chest. She looked at Shona with a sarcastic smile and asked, "I came to see where are my grandmother's new clothes."

"She didn't want any." Shona was in a little bit of a panic. She didn't dare to look Laura in the eyes.

Laura knew that was what Shona would say.

However, she didn't want to dwell on whether Shona had bought the clothes or not. She just said, "Treat my grandmother better in the future. Otherwise, I'll teach you a lesson that you'll never forget."
