"It's delicious!" Shannon couldn't help but compliment the taste of the sweet. She then passed a bite to Laura. "Have a taste of this, Laura. It's really delicious."

"He's injured his leg."

"Okay," said Laura.

After hanging up, Laura stood in front of the counter quietly.

Shannon had heard what was said on the phone as well. She turned to Laura and said, "Do you need to head off to the hospital, Laura? You can if you want. I'll just keep an eye on the store."
