Chapter 320 Money

Laura ran into her room, closed the door, leaned against it, and began panting a little. She then walked to the window and saw Chris walking through the garden and out the gates.

She couldn't stop thinking about what just happened. She could feel that her face was still red.

Chris wasn't going to be home for the next few days, so Laura didn't go home either. She stayed to keep Madam Jacobs company.

On the 5th Jan, Laura received a call from Linda.

"Grandma, what's up?"

As soon as Laura answered the call, she had a rough idea why Linda called her.

"Laura, Jessica is going to give birth to the baby," said Linda.

Laura could tell how nervous Linda was by her voice.

Most elders loved children and Linda was no exception.

"Don't be nervous, Grandma," said Laura.

It was the morning. Laura comforted Linda for a while before hanging up. About an hour later, her phone rang again. Laura looked at her phone and saw that it was a message from Luke.
