Chris had just gotten out of the car. The clothes he was wearing were still quite thin. He was also emitting a cold aura.

"It's me." Chris pulled Laura into his arms and looked at her pale face. His hands were shaking a little. "What's wrong? Let's go to the hospital."

"No." Laura reached out and grabbed Chris. "There's no need to go to the hospital. Let's just go home. I have some painkillers at home."

After arriving home, Laura was about to change her shoes, but Chris stopped her.

"I'll do it for you."

He carried Laura to the bed, squatted down and knelt on one knee.

Laura seemed
