Clara

I got too excited having Esther bring me breakfast right after the door. Although I knew it was supposed to be for Samuel, he didn’t even bother greeting her a good morning so I understand why Esther chose to give it to me instead.

Every bite that I took made me want to jump in delight. The food here was too good. Before I could attempt to offer Samuel breakfast, he had already left without a word.

Confused, I stared into the door where he just shut.

He didn’t say anything and I didn’t ask him either last night. He just made it clear that we will head off early but he didn’t specify the time.

Scared of being left in here for good, I didn’t even finish my wonderful breakfast and chase after Saamuel.

I couldn’t open my lips and call for him because my mouth was full. I just kept on walking after him until Esther showed up.

With the fear of being seen, I hide myself a meter away from them.

“How could you betray me like this, Samuel?” Esther began, her voice was firm with anger.

Samuel Minutes turned into hours and my patience waiting for Clara rapidly ran low. Although she didn’t exactly mention how long she’s going to be gone, I know for sure that she shouldn’t take this long. I know she wouldn’t want me to leave and go look for her, but I tried. My wounds as well as began to carefully heal allowing me to slowly regain my lost energy back.

Clara “No,” Samuel softly exhaled, pulling himself away from me. His hands made their way to my shoulders, gripping them tight and firm. It was as if I'd flee from him any second.“Why are you saying this?” “Just like what I said, I’m leaving.” “And you’re not coming back, are you?” I was left staring at him, not having any idea how to respond with a hint of smirk forming on my lips. We kissed, yeah. We just kissed and yet he’s already so into this, acting like a husband scared to be abandoned by his wife. “Clara, tell me you’re coming back for me. And where are you even going to go in the first place?” “Where are you getting this idea that I’m not coming back?” I chuckled. “Just please answer me.” Samuel firmly shuts his eyes, then lets out a sigh like I’ve been stressing the hell out of him. “I’ll come back, of course.” I stood up, dusting off my clothes. “Where are you off to?” My eyes squinted, looking down at Samuel. He’s“Just somewhere,” I murmur.“That’s not a place.

Samuel Watching tears slowly fill her eyes, her nose running red, and her lips trembling, I just felt like something inside of me instantly melt. Clara took a deep breath, stopping herself from bursting out into tears. She even looked up just for her tears not to fall.

  • Secret Healer Luna   Chapter 95

Clara The thing that I’ve been scared of is slowly coming to life. I knew they didn’t stop sending their troops because they suddenly decided to end the battle. But because they were preparing to throw us something bigger…something to make sure we will never recover. “Alpha, what do we do?” “You know what to do! Block their way. Make sure they never step anywhere near the pack’s border.” The hallway was slowly filled by continuous murmur of worry and fear from the members. All of them were in panic to hear that the enemies were again coming at us. “There’s no way to block them, Alpha. The walls have been breached. Most of our warriors were hurt,” Beta heavily sighed. “We can’t stop them.” “We’re going to die!” “Let’s get out of here and leave!” “Right! We just can’t stand here and wait for our death!” `Everyone’s loud and shrill voices were clashing against each other. I placed my palms over my ears, my eyes locked, staring at my feet and my mind blank. “No one’s leaving! Ev

  • Secret Healer Luna   Chapter 94

Clara My eyes were heavy, my entire body aching so bad, screaming for sleep. But I wouldn’t because I couldn’t. Not until I’ve found out how to alter the poison they’ve infected into our people. And now that Samuel was in a coma because of that poison, my mind was restless.

  • Secret Healer Luna   Chapter 93

Samuel“I’ll be fine,” was the last thing Clara mumbled, nodding, leaving me with no other options but to watch her leave. She’s born stubborn, and right now she’s gone too stubborn for me to handle. Hence I cannot just blame her because she’s not doing this for herself but rather for a greater good. What can I do if helping others has been her responsibility regardless if her life would be at stake. In order to keep myself occupied and somewhat do something great, I followed her instructions. Upon arriving at the area she said where the enemies had broken in, about a dozen of warriors were down. They all have huge and deep claw marks from their faces down to their lower abdomen. They were cut open to make sure none of these men would make it out alive. I’ve been in tons of wars already. Death isn’t and won’t ever be inevitable. But seeing how they died made my chest twitch with a bit of guilt and regret. The blood spilled on the ground looked fresh—as if it happened just seco
