Chapter 39: Forget Me

I don’t know if I should be thankful that Clara and I came into a deal to sleep together on the same bed because we just ended up fighting and arguing worse.

After the Omega had left, she pushed me out on top of her as if I would do something bad to her. That was the second time she pushed me just tonight. And yet I still decided to just let it slide given how exhausting this day is for me.

But up until now, we were still fighting over who gets to use the blanket after we find out only one was provided.

I just knew Grandma was behind all of this and she even made sure that I won’t be able to decline her.

“It’s not even that cold! Just let me use it!” Clara grumbled, tugging the blanket onto her side.

“If it’s not that cold, then give it up for me because I am cold!” I retorted and pulled the blanket as well.

“But I can’t sleep without a blanket,” her voice almost sounds as if she’s trying to hold herself back from crying.

“You’re so selfish,” I whispered, but she was still able
