Sacha arrived at the fancy hotel which she had booked for a week with Mandy. But as she was about to pass the lobby, the receptionist quickly pulled her to hide behind a column,
Sacha panickingly, stared at him with wide eyes, wondering what was going on.
“Miss Davidson, I am afraid that there are two men here asking about you. I just thought I should warn you before you go to your room.” The receptionist whispered.
“Thank you,” Sacha replied in gratitude for the warning. Then she walked away in thoughts while wandering whom they could be.
She strategically decided to take the stairs instead, which no one used, not wanting to accidentally encounter these men. She had the advantage for now of them not knowing that she was here and knew of their presence.
She sneaked onto the upper floor and quickly hid by the corner. Then she peeked to see these so-called uninvited guests.
But her eyes quickly widened as soon as she saw who they were. They were busy quarreling with a hungover Mandy by the door.
“Look here, I do not know where Sacha is. And she is a grown-up woman who can go wherever she wants to! I do not care if you are her cousins, leave her alone!”
Mandy was fuming mad. Making Sacha realize why she had not answered her phone. She had been busy handling her difficult cousins.
It was two of them, Max and Dave. Her uncle`s sons and her mother`s favorites. Of course, her mother must have sent them as soon as she realized that Sacha was not answering her calls. Calls that would have included boring unwanted conversations about that Ceo`s spoiled brat of a son and wedding plans.
But still, like hell? They were so desperate enough that they had even followed her to another city. What kind of family was this?
Sacha knew that they too, her cousins had come for their own interests. To drag her back home to work because they did not want to do the mackle deal on their own. Lazy ungrateful pricks.
Seems they could never give her a break! Not even a single day had passed!
Although she felt angry and wanted to go there and slap both of them, Sacha stayed back. She was not ready to be dragged back home. She had a mess to deal with here. Her new marriage in Vegas. And if her family found out, they would kill her!
She also knew that her cousins had found her, because of the damn black card. They had to have traced her huge spending from last night. She quickly knew that she had to stop using it.
Turning around she instead ran down the stairs, made sure to thank the receptionist again. Then she hailed a cab using the last paper money she had.
As soon as she arrived at her destination, she found herself feeling nervous. But she had nowhere to go and her cousins would definitely continue haunting Mandy and that Hotel until they had her.
So she had no choice, she hesitantly knocked on the door.
He opened and stared at her in shock, seems he had not expected her to come back. After the way, she had high-tailed out of there.
“Hie,” was all Sacha could say as she walked in.
“Tell me, Gavin, Is it her? Is that my new daughter-in-law, is she back from the store?” Sacha quickly paused midway as she heard a soft feminine voice speak,
And Gavin looked nervous as hell.
“My mother on face time,” He mouthed the words to her, and Sacha quickly motioned that she would keep her mouth shut and pretend she was not here. She did not want to speak to his mother right now, heck she did not even know what to say or were to start.
"No mom, its just a neighbor who came to ask for something,” She heard Gavin reply as he walked over to his bedroom and sat by his laptop.
“Aw shame, I wanted to see her. My new daughter law. You have no idea how happy you made me Gavin.” Sacha`s eyes then widened as she could hear the woman`s voice becoming teary.
“It fills me with joy to know that I can finally die in peace while knowing that you won't be alone in this world. That you will have someone by your side.”, as she continued, Sacha found herself having another flashback of last night.
Flashback...
It was them, her, Mandy, Steve, and Gavin, staggering like drunkards as they drank more and more of that neon-colored drink.
She was so high that she felt as if the whole world was spinning.
“You know my mother, she has cancer which is eating her away. But she told me her dying wish is that she wants to see me married and with a wife before she dies,” Gavin spoke his voice slurring as they walked to nowhere with one hand wrapped around a drunk Sacha.
“Well, my family is trying to force me into an arranged marriage with this Jerk. My mother has already started with the wedding plans. They do…not..care about my feelings at all.” drunken Sacha also replied back, hiccuping with each word.
“I know what you guys need to do!” A drunken Mandy immediately joined the conversation, causing drunk Sacha and drunk Gavin to stop walking and stare at her, wanting the answer to their troubles.
“You two should Get MARRIED!” Drunked Mandy dramatically stated,
“There is a chapel there and we can DO IT TONIGHT!” she continued, easily convincing both drunk Sacha and drunk Gavin,
“My mother will be happy,” Gavin replied, drunkenly nodding his head.
“I won't have to marry that Jerk.” Sacha also added with a drunken smile,
“Let's go!” Mandy drunkenly then shouted while excitedly dragging everyone with her.
end....
After that small flashback, Sacha found herself back in the room and watching Gavin having facetime with his mother.
“So um, how did you know that I am now married,” Gavin nervously asked his mother, surprising Sacha at how he was not the one, who had told her.
“Don’t you remember, you send me a picture in the middle of the night? I woke up wondering what it was, and since it was from you I had to open it. And you can not imagine how much I STARTLED everyone in the hospital with my scream of excitement.”
“One of the nurses even rushed into the room, in a panic from thinking that I was in pain. Only for me to show her, the amazing picture of my son with his wife. One of both your hands with rings and the marriage certificate. I could not open the video since you never send it properly. So resend it. I just wish you had told me about her and not kept her a secret like that Gavin!”
“There is a video???” Sacha found herself frozen in more panic. She found herself hoping she too had not sent it to her family. Was that another reason why her cousins had come?
Oh God, she hoped not!
“Um well, I wanted it to be a surprise. If you had met her, I know you would love her. She is breathtakingly beautiful, sweet smile, and with a good heart.” As Sacha heard Gavin say that about her, she could feel this warm feeling rise inside her chest. She was touched.
“Well hurry up then in bringing her over here. I want to meet her and share embarrassing stories about you. I still have that baby album of you,” Her mother continued,
“Come on mom, and soon okay, also don’t give nurse Rue trouble. Please take your medicine.” He finished with a concerned son look in his eyes.
“Don’t worry, I just like giving them a hard time once in a while. And nurse Rue rarely smiles!”
“Bye mom and love you,” As Gavin closed the laptop, you could see the pain in his eyes. The same pain she had seen last night before inviting him for a drink. He was afraid of losing his mother. In pain, because he knew it was inevitable. He also seemed to really love her.
“I…I'm sorry for not telling my mother the truth about us. I just…I just want to see her this happy for much longer before I tell her that it was you know….” He finally spoke looking up at her.
“It's okay, I understand,” Sacha whispered, sitting next to him and taking his hand into hers to squeeze it in comfort.
She did not know why but there was something about Gavin that just made her become this soft mush. She could not stand to see him in pain. She just wanted to soothe it all away.
He first stared at her hand on top of his then he stared right into her eyes.
Those captivating intense grey eyes. It was as if the whole world had faded away into the background and it was now just only her and him.
Without even thinking about it, Sacha found herself pulling him in, her lips meeting his. Those same fireworks invading her body and busting into sweet chaotic sparkles.
Another flashback memory from last night immediately came to her,
Flashback...
They had just arrived right here in this same room, drunk and now making out on the bed. All the clothes off, with Sacha, just left in her bra and panties.
"My lovely wifey, I think I will not sleep with you tonight,"
"Why not, aren`t we now married," Drunken Sacha said with a whine,
"When we make love, I want to be able to remember it," Drunken Gavin had replied before he turned around and drunkenly dropped asleep on the bed.
Flashback ends...
As she came back to reality, his strong manly hands were now wrapped around her tiny waist as they faced each other on the bed.
A small moan еѕсареd her аѕ Gavin tооk thе kіѕѕ deeper, hіѕ tongue invading hеr mоuth tо еxрlоrе her hіddеn dерthѕ.
Sаcha wаntеd, no nееded tо get сlоѕеr. That sweet memory, still fresh in her mind, She quickly climbed on top of him, wrapping both her legs around him as he ravished her mouth. Their tongues still stuck in a sweet entangling dance.
Hеr hаndѕ slid up and over hіѕ сhеѕt, underneath his shirt before going up and rеѕtіng оn his ѕhоuldеrѕ. fееlіng thе muѕсlеѕ ԛuіvеr bеnеаth the ѕurfасе as ѕhе tried tо pull hіm closer.
“Hmm Gavin…” Sacha could not help but moan out his name as he peppered sweet delicious kisses, from her neck down to her collarbone. “Sacha,” he sexily whispered back, his lips brushing against hers once again, with him softly capturing her lower lip between his teeth. Using his hands, he easily pulled her dress up until her lower half was bare. This was as she now lay on the bed with him hovering on top and shirtless. Once his lips left her mouth, Sacha immediately closed her eyes in rhythmical bliss as she felt him start going down on her. Starting with a trail of kisses from her abdomen headed downwards, with her throbbing sex soon to be the final destination. But then something disturbed just as she was about to have his skillful tongue...lead her paradise! It was the mortifying rumbling sound of her food starved stomach, that selfish body organ! She felt Gavin pause in his journey and move back up to face her, “Hungry?” He asked, his hand
“Gavin, can I stay here for a few days,” Sacha nervously asked, after finally taking her own bath too and coming out wrapped in one of Gavin`s extra towels. He first looked surprised by the request. Sacha understood why…they were...well...still strangers who only met just last night and woke up married. Now she was asking to stay with him too! “Its just until we deal and sort out the whole Vegas marriage thing,” She quickly added, “Also I don’t live in this state. I only actually came here for a vacation break. However I cannot use my bank card and I also cannot go back, to the hotel I had booked-“She found herself now rambling nervously, “I understand and you can stay as long as you need,” Gavin intervened, with a reassuring smile, causing Sacha to stop rambling and sigh in relief.“Thank you and also do you have anything I could wear? I don’t yet have my bag and things,” Sacha also asked, not wanting to repeatedly wear the now worn-out black lace
Although it was small and did not look like the luxurious restaurants that Sacha was used to going to, she could admit that the place had its charm. “What is it about him that is making me feel like this. What has he done to me.” Sacha found herself biting her bottom lip in confused thought as she secretly glanced at Gavin. This was while pretending that she was focused, reading the novel in her hand. Right at this moment, they were at his workshop where he was busy fixing a car while she just hang out there with him, not wanting to stay back home alone. “Home,” Sacha found herself thinking, was this what that little cozy studio apartment had become to her? All her life, she had lived in mansions and manors but none had ever felt like home. Instead, they had all felt like prisons, always knowing that she was being watched and never free to do what she wanted. But here with Gavin, it was like a breath of fresh air. She could wake up when she wanted, wear what she wanted, spend the day however she wanted but best of all, get to spend more time with Gavin. She did not know why, but there was just som
Upon hearing Sacha`s response, the happiest smile in the world quickly took over on Gavin`s mother. They then went back to talking about Gavin`s baby pictures as he entered the room coming back. They spent more time with her until she started kicking them out to go home. “It getting too dark, and you have a long drive until you reach home.” She told them with a worried motherly look. “Sacha if Gavin ever gives you problems, let me know, for no man is too old to get spanked by their mother!” At hearing this, Sacha quickly burst laughing happily while replying that she would definitely do so. “Jeeze mom and love you,” Gavin also spoke with a fake scowl on his face while leaning to give her a sweet kiss on the cheek as they said their goodbyes. “So what did the doctor say…” Sacha awkwardly asked, not knowing if she was allowed to inquire so. But she had to. Now that she had met Gavin`s mother and become close with her, she too now found herself w

Since it was a weekend, Gavin had brought her here to the beach. Switching positions she turned around to also stare at the sky. While also using Gavin`s sunglasses to protect her eyes from the sun. Sacha first stood there contemplating what to do after that horrible phone call. She knew her mother was serious and would do what she had threatened to do. She would make sure that Mandy ended up in jail tonight even on false made-up charges. And Sacha could not let that happen to Mandy because of her own selfishness. It was time that she returned back to her family and face the music. The only good thing though was that her mother seemed to not know yet about her marriage to Gavin. Sacha felt grateful that Mandy had not let that out even while under pressure. Dialing Mandy`s number, she waited for her friend to answer. But it went to voice mail. Still, though Sacha decided to leave a voice message. "Mandy...I am so so sorry for the trouble I seem to have got you in. You are a good friend and I promise that I will make it up to you." As soon as she had flown back, Sacha had ditched her cousins by hiring an uber. and headed straight to her penthouse apartment, not wanting to go visit her mother with them. She was not in the mood to see her after what she had done to Mandy. During the trip, Sacha also bought a new phone, with Gavin`s number being the first thing she saved as she renewed her old number. Her phone immediately pinged with loads of messages and call notifications from her mother during her absence. If only she had a way to block her mother`s number, but she could not because if she did, her mother would show up in person and give her more trouble. Sacha preferred communicating with that woman on the phone because at le
Sacha first sent a glare at her mother for orchestrating all this. “Say YES,” Sacha saw her mother mouth to her demandingly. This made her inwardly scowl; she was not some robot to be dictated on what to do. Still, her palms were almost sweating from the pressure of being cornered. This was as Sacha found herself, surrounded by guests with expectant looks, all waiting for her to say yes so that the celebrations could start. Then was the horde of paparazzi with their cameras already flashing as they took pictures for the engagement news tomorrow. Even Peter had a smug arrogant look on his face of already expecting her to say yes. However, Peter that arrogant jerk was the last person on earth that Sacha would ever want to get married to! Maybe if this had happened before she met Gavin, she might have said yes for the good publicity and then canceled the engagement afterward in private. But now things had changed after her trip to America, she now had a husband and one she was very
Gavin`s Pov "Son," Gavin looked at his mother upon hearing her call his name. He had visited her at the hospital as he always made sure to do every week. "I can see the sadness in your eyes, did something happen between you and my daughter-in-law?" she asked, looking worriedly at her son. She had noticed this week that he had not been himself. Then was him not bringing his beautiful wife along too. "Sacha traveled back to her home country for family stuff." Gavin finally replied, Right now he was depressed from missing her. He had last spoken to her three days ago. He had noticed too, how tired she had looked. So he was not angry about her missing his calls. Still, a part of him was worried, what if she no longer loved him anymore? What if she had found someone else? "If you ask me, its not good for a young couple such as you two, to be apart like this," his mother commented now realizing what was truly worrying her son. However as his mother offered the advice, Gavin found
An exquisite red carpet graced the front door of the Greenwood mansion. With a succession of top luxury cars arriving at the big gate where everyone had to present their invite. Elegant and dignified guests came out of the luxury cars, with many bigwigs having brought their own bodyguards too. All of them were dressed in expensive-looking brand clothes, and let's not even mention the jewelry. Sacha got out of the car, the fancy one which her mother had sent. This from knowing that her daughter would arrive in whatever car if she did not send one. Still, Sacha really did not want to be here. There was even the press and paparazzi taking pictures of the guests. Of course, knowing Peter, he loved the attention and publicity. But did he have to use her as an excuse to throw
