CHAPTER 53

BLAIR POV

Once we were at the entrance lobby, Ronnell spoke to the security guards, making them aware of the man spiralling outside on the sidewalk, then he bundled me into the executive elevator and crowded me into the corner.

He braced his hands on the wall beside my head, while he swept his gaze over me. “Are you all right?”

I slowly nodded. “Sure, I'm fine.”

To be honest, I truly was okay. For a split amount of seconds, I had been afraid of what Tyler might do, but with Ronnell's immediate and unwavering protection, I felt safe.

“I didn't mean for any of that to happen. I'm deeply sorry that you had to see and listen to that crap.”

“Well, I'm sorry you had to deal with that crap. That guy Is a true jerk and a coward as well.”

He paused, frowning at me. “Wait, you're not angry that I made sure his lease was cancelled?”

“Why would I be?”
