Chapter fifty-six

Jade's pov:

I gave her one last glance before dragging myself out of bed.

She was sleeping, I stared at her innocent face and sighed.

I rubbed my jaw repeatedly before tilting my neck to the other side with a sigh.

I don't think that I can do this.

I can't see myself hurting her or being the reason for her disappearance from the foul of this earth.

I know that she doesn't know my real identity because if she does, she couldn't be around me now sleeping or eating food with me from the same plate.

She is a good and innocent soul, I could feel a pull toward her that we both can help each other but I couldn't place my finger on what that could possibly be.

I know that I will receive a lot of ransom if I have my plan executed.

But I could not when I am suspecting her to have come from Willow's lineage.

That mark around her neck level was the thing that had me suspecting her.

I didn't buy that shit that it was a tattoo, she is hiding something from me and I knew that.
