Chapter 469

Before Angeline got in the taxi, Sean's car stopped at the opposite side of the road.

Sean stepped out of his car with a sullen face. He slammed the door closed and walked toward Angeline while trying to suppress his anger.

Angeline released the door handle and apologized to the taxi driver before shutting the door.

She didn't know it took Sean 12 minutes to rush from Night Palace to the neighborhood of his manor while running the red lights.

Even the phone call was to stop Angeline from leaving.
