"This concerns my personal safety. Shouldn't I have asked her about it?" Joey's eyes glinted mischievously. "Did you want me to keep misunderstanding Mrs. Walker?"

Whether Joey got along with Mrs. Walker or not was none of my business.

She was like a porcupine, ready to prick anyone who came close. With that attitude, she'd have a hard time making friends!
