As if Kelsey was made of glass.

With his soothing kisses, Kelsey soon stopped fidgeting from her nerves.

She was not as agitated as before and soon managed to compose herself.

Tyler slowly pulled away from her.

Kelsey still felt terrible about what happened and apologized sincerely, “I am so sorry for burning down your kitchen!”

She said this with a marked hint of innocence and embarrassment written across her face.

Tyler was not upset. On the contrary, he was mesmerized by how adorable she looked.

He reached forward and gently flicked at her nose. “It’s no big deal at all, the only thing that matters is you’re safe. I wouldn’t have cared less even if the entire house burned down as long as you’re okay.”

He would always be surprised by the things that he would say to Kelsey.

He simply did not have the heart to blame her.

Kelsey was briefly taken aback by the response. She was filled with a warm, fuzzy feeling.

She blinked in disbelief and asked again, “Are you sure it’s fine
