Kelsey felt tempted to challenge herself.

She tried to recall how Talia used to make grilled potatoes so she could reiterate the process.

With that, she turned on the stove and poured oil into the pan.

She was creating her best impression of a master chef.

However, since it was her first time cooking, she was not sure how much was the right amount of oil.

She ended up being careless and poured too much oil.

However, she was not aware of her mistake. She then tossed in the aromatics such as ginger, scallions, and onions.

After frying them for a while, she noticed the pan had been dried out of oil.

She wondered if it was because she had not poured in enough oil.

With that, she added more oil to the pan.

To prevent the pan from drying out again again, she added more oil this time to the point where the entire pan was simmering with glossy oil.

Soon, she realized she had put too much oil to the point where it resembled a soup more than anything.

The potatoes were not cooking.
