Zara’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Tyler…”

Her face turned pale with hurt.

However, Tyler would not even look at Zara.

He said sternly, “Get out!”

Zara shivered in fear.

She dared not stick around.

Zara turned and headed to the door.

Before her departure, Zara gave Kelsey a dirty look.

The malice was apparent in her gaze.

Kelsey could not care less.

She and Tyler were still engaged.

Despite Zara’s attempts to sink her claws into Kelsey’s man, she had been unsuccessful and shifted the blame to Kelsey instead.

“Let’s just ignore her, babe.”

Kelsey dangled Tyler’s arm, not wanting Zara to ruin their lunch together.

To her surprise, Tyler released her arm without a word.

He then went upstairs.

“Hey, where are you going?” Kelsey asked in confusion.

“The study!” Tyler responded.

Kelsey blinked. “Aren’t you having lunch with me?”

“Don’t wait up for me.” Tyler’s expression was hard to read.

He disappeared into the depths of the spiraling staircase.
