Lydia let out a chuckle,

“Sign the papers, George. That's the only reason I'm here”.

“Are you sure?” George asked in a low voice before adding,

“With the way you're dressed, I can hardly believe that didn't come for something more. Lydia, I can let all these stay in the dark, you know, we can always forget something like this ever happened”

Lydia shook her head as her mind flashed back to what Carson had said earlier. She wonders if the man has the gift of seeing vision.

Wanting to see what George had in mind, she asked,

“So, what are you insinuating?”

“Let's forget the past, tear the divorce paper, tell that fucking lawyer you don't want to go on with that plan anymore and that you have a better one”

“Which is?” She asked and George grabbed her by the waist.

“That you want to come back to me. That you still love me. Don't you miss how I make you feel in bed, Lydia” he asked and Lydia giggled,
