Jefferson decided to go home.

He felt that going to the office and thinking Malvin and Howard would annoy him in this mood was not a good choice either. After all, since the robbery at the diamond shop yesterday, Jefferson rarely relaxed at his house.

His house seemed to be just a place to sleep because he could spend time in the office from morning to midnight. And fate had to bring him and him together while chilling with Willie in the park. How funny it was when at that time, they searched for them with all their might, but they never met and instead met when they weren't looking.

They and all the other criminals deserved to be caught; even though there were cases that had gone unsolved for years and were obsolete and forgotten, Jefferson always prayed that these cases would come to light, or at least he could find his own way to justice.

Jefferson was greeted by the calm and pleasant ambiance in his home; even though he was in the middle of a busy and overcrowded city, his house f

Jefferson regretted it; he shouldn't have just left. It could be that the text wasn't from Andrew, it could be that someone with bad intent was waiting for him, Or at least Jefferson had to make sure that it was really Andrew. After all, he couldn't stand being there for long, and it seemed to give him an instant solution. Jefferson put the invitation on his motorbike under the handlebar; he purposely hoped that it would disappear, someone would pick it up or be swept away by the wind as soon as he came back. To be honest, he didn't want to take it home. Jefferson stepped into the market, and luckily he found Andrew sitting there alone, grinning at him; Jefferson's second regret. Jefferson smiled uncomfortably; he joined Andrew, sitting across from him. The furthest place he could sit without being too obvious that he didn't want to be with that pervert. "I thought you were here, so I come," Andrew said, taking a sip of coffee that was still hot, the smoke billowing and feeling

Jefferson wondered when fate would stop making fun of him or when fate would make the people he loved love him or the people he didn't love move away from him. Why did fate turn it upside down? He was dumped by the person he loved, and that pervert kept clinging to him.Okay, now Jefferson felt he was asking too much; maybe fate was confused about which one to grant. But it shouldn't be this hard to get away from that pervert; this is unfair. It is surprising; this morning, he received a text from Andrew when he had just woken up because his alarm rang like there was a fire. He said they couldn't find Ian anywhere, and everyone already knew he was too close, and yeah, they talked about that.It was a terrible thing. And with curiosity still gnawing his mind, Jefferson went to the main office, about half an hour from his place. He hoped to meet Jaxson or Troy there, or at least someone he knew showed up out of the blue, as long as it was not Andrew. And as everyone had expected, he sa

Saturday came sooner than Jefferson had anticipated. And he just realized that tonight is Saturday night, which means there will be an inevitable long traffic jam because everyone is out for the weekend; Jefferson took a deep breath, cursing his not-so-good luck.Andrew was playing with his phone, and Jefferson's sigh caught his attention. Andrew kicked Jefferson's leg lightly. And he didn't think it was a problem, but Jefferson kicked his leg so hard he screamed, and Mr. Brooke almost spilled the coffee he was drinking.Fortunately, few visitors came today; they were the only ones in the cafe. People were busy spending their weekends going to beautiful and aesthetic places, not to ugly places like this market. But at least their little argument didn't need to be seen by too many people. However, he was worried about how he would make it through Tuesday when the cafe became crowded. What Jefferson needed to worry about was right now, where he would have to be stuck with that pervert u

  • Scent of Broken    Chapter 10

As planned, Jefferson came home from the market at three o'clock in the afternoon to avoid the crazy traffic jams. The roads started to look crowded when Jefferson got home; maybe if he waited about two or three hours later, he'd be stuck in that traffic. Jaxson gave him permission to come home earlier, even before Jefferson gave him an explanation; it seemed like they didn't need to be too hung up on the schedule. Jefferson now believed what Malvin and Howard had said; the gossip was true, and they were paid to be silent and pretend. Unlike Andrew, he didn't care; he just followed Jefferson to the exit, still trying to ask him on a date; Jefferson refused to accept it. But this time, it was different. Instead of forcing Jefferson or doing the annoying things he usually does, Andrew gave his address with a photo of his gate, just in case Jefferson lost. He parked his motorbike right beside Jefferson's motorbike. Jefferson looked at him with a confused look; he rode his motorbik

Jefferson no longer intended to continue his layout drawing; he kept thinking about the recruitment. He swung his feet two hours ago. Jefferson was just grading and adding unnecessary details, scribbling in some blank spaces; he kept himself busy with useless little things. While that pervert had just arrived with messy hair, he still looked sleepy. He yawned and sat across from Jefferson; he then smiled. He arrived at eleven, though he should have arrived at nine in the morning. But Jefferson was glad he came late because he could have a peaceful breakfast at Aunt Addie's shop, she sells porridge in the morning, and her salad was available at noon. But the porridge also tastes delicious. As soon as Andrew arrived, he immediately threw his head on the table, using his hand as a pillow. But there was one thing that put Jefferson in a sudden good mood; he was wearing the leather jacket he had bought at the mall yesterday, although he appeared overdressed for wearing it to the marke

Jefferson didn't care about the visitor who turned their heads towards them; maybe if they stopped and pulled Jefferson away from Andrew, perhaps he would care, but luckily there wasn't. Jefferson grabbing his Andrew's collar tightly, his eyes widening, his chin up, and his eyebrows raised; Jefferson would soon kill him if only they were in a quiet place. Looks like it's not the time for him to die. But that pervert just laughed, which Jefferson missed; Andrew held Jefferson's hand with one hand, and his other hand grabbed his phone and called Jaxson; it's cheating. Unfortunately, Jefferson found out about it when Andrew put the phone to his ear, and a voice came from there, making Jefferson release his grip on Andrew's collar. "Hi, Jaxson. I hope I'm not bothering you," he said. "Hey buddy, did he do something?" Jefferson's jaw clenched, and he got even more annoyed when he heard Jaxson's question; he talked about it straight away without asking anything else; they had planned

Andrew kept demanding Jefferson, reminding him almost every minute about their agreement. They came back to Mr. Tucker's cafe. Jefferson snorted in annoyance. He pushed Andrew away from him because he had been moving his body closer to Jefferson until his shoulders touched the wall. "Are you blind? There are many people around us." "Where? Isn't it just the two of us here?" Andrew moved his body again, but Jefferson immediately extended his arms, making Andrew stop. Andrew relented, and he moved away. But he glanced at Jefferson sarcastically, with a sharp corner of his eye, his gaze directed ahead. "Well, I didn't think you would break your own promise. I shouldn't have trusted you," Andrew muttered, then took a sip of the coffee Jefferson had ordered for him this morning. Although it no longer tasted good because all the ice had melted, Jefferson should have ordered coffee without ice for him. Jefferson groaned. "You really are annoying! I can't kiss you in a place like thi

  • Scent of Broken    Chapter 14

Jefferson came to the office the next day, and a clear Wednesday sky greeted him, making him feel good, like a sunflower standing tall and welcoming the sun. But when he got to the office, Jefferson couldn't focus on his work, and he'd only read two paragraphs because what happened yesterday didn't stop spinning in his head, especially the kiss and the "zombie" that ruined it. Luckily Malvin and Howard weren't there, so even though he didn't finish today's work, Jefferson stayed in the office until the time he should get home. He continues his work at home because he doesn't want today's work to pile up with tomorrow's. And luckily, once he got home and went straight to his garden, Jefferson could gain his focus. And the next day. It was a gloomy Thursday morning because it had been raining since morning. Jefferson went to his office by car, even though he preferred to ride a motorbike because it made him arrive faster and he could easily avoid traffic jams. But there is something

Hayden knew Max well; he knew Max would never have put a camera or voice recorder in the head bodyguard's bedroom without telling him and Owen. In fact, even when Jefferson was still sleeping with them, Max didn't put anything, even though Hayden knew how badly Max wanted to. So there shouldn't be anything for Hayden to worry about. They can talk comfortably in the bedroom and don't need to get stuck in a confusing situation in the bathroom. But no, Hayden's wild mind kept him from doing it. His mind told Hayden that Max could have done that because he felt uncomfortable with Owen. And now, the burden on Max's mind increases with Jasper, automatically making him distrust Hayden. Since everyone knows they are dating, people count Hayden as the same person as Jasper. Despite the fact that Hayden often doesn't know anything about what Jasper is doing, he must still accept the consequences, exactly like what just happened earlier. Meanwhile, Jasper looked the other way. Unlike Hayd

Bernard bowed politely as the man pulled him back; in contrast to his arrogant attitude towards Jasper earlier, he immediately complied with that man. Jasper wondered who that man was, and to his surprise, instead of making him afraid, he was pleased when he saw the man step inside. "Hayden!" said Jasper in a cheerful tone. But instead of responding to Jasper's greeting, Hayden looked at Bernard and other Max's subordinates. He had ignored Jasper for the second time this morning; what a terrible record. Meanwhile, someone appeared from behind Hayden. He was one of his subordinates. Jasper knew him well; his name was Fort, and they were a roommate. "There you are, Jasper. We have been looking for you everywhere," he said while smiling. Fort tried to melt the atmosphere that was starting to heat up between his boss and Bernard, even though all they did was stare at each other. And as we expected, his efforts were in vain; Fort's words flew by like a small gust of wind in the

Jasper will go there with some of Hayden's and Max's subordinates, Jasper is very grateful because there are several of Hayden's subordinates, he is worried that Max's subordinates will do something that scares him, at least there is someone he can ask for help if that happens. But apparently, it was happening to him and unfortunately, he was alone. How surprised was Jasper when he came out of the hallway with the automatic lights and he saw Mao, Travis, and Austin standing only two pillars away from Jasper. Jasper was surprised, he turned in the opposite direction. He wanted to go back to his room and instead of walking past the four of them, Jasper would have taken the opposite direction and walked around the Emerson brothers' mansion. But how surprised he was to see several other people who we

  • Scent of Broken    Chapter 162

Jefferson looked up as Homer turned, and their eyes met like two pairs of puzzles finding their right spot in a large picture; it just happens, and no one can avoid it. "I'm sorry," said Jefferson. Homer's eyes soften, and for a moment, his mind wanders, wishing they didn't have to be so far apart. Everyone can see it clearly; they see other people in the look in Homer's eyes. Before finally, when Homer blinked and his eyes sharpened again, he entered his room and disappeared when the door was closed. Jefferson lowered his head while Hugo picked him up and brought him back to his bedroom. Hugo also tells Max to call a doctor because he fears something terrible might happen to him if he doesn't get proper care; Hugo isn't done with him yet. While Owen and Hayden walked behind Max and Cadman, who gleefully laughed at each other. Neither of them spoke until they met Jasper in the dining room. Owen and Hayden said nothing about the beating and Jefferson; they prefer to remain sile

Jefferson wakes up with Hugo sitting up holding Jefferson's handcuffed legs and then releasing him. Jefferson knew immediately that something bad was going to happen to him because of the look in Hugo's eyes that stared at him intently. Hugo got up and pulled Jefferson's arm towards his bedroom door, and as soon as he and Hugo came out, how surprised Jefferson was to see the other three head bodyguards and Cadman were there. Hayden looked at Homer while Owen lowered his head in contrast to Max and Cadman who looked at Jefferson with a smile, they greeted Jefferson happily. Hugo pushed him to the floor, Jefferson fell right in front of Homer who was standing facing the window. His leg still hurt after last night he did that with Hugo again, his hand was still shaking when Jefferson tried to get up. But suddenly, a foot stepped on his back and made him fall back to the floor. Max just stepped on his back. Jefferson grimaced and tears started to fall from his eyes, he raised his h

Jefferson pulled the blanket over himself and that reminded Hugo of something. “You are sending the wrong document to Mr. Blake, Hugo,” Homer shouted through the door. Hugo stretched his arm out to the empty side of the bed, while his other hand held Jefferson tightly. He swept his hand all around; as if looking for something and he smiled once he found it, it was under his blanket. "Oh really? Why don't you send the right document then?” shouted Hugo, answering Homer's question. It was the red shirt that Jefferson had previously found, Jefferson looked at Hugo but he didn't ask anything. He pushed aside the blanket that Jefferson had used to cover himself. "I'm sorry I forgot to tell you about this and if you want to wear other clothes, feel free to grab it from my wardrobe." Hugo put the shirt on Jefferson right away and he smiled, then pressed his forehead to Jefferson's. “I do not have it, Hugo. I wouldn't be knocking on your room if I had the document." Hugo took a deep

Hugo looked at Jefferson with a lecherous smile, Jefferson lowered his hand from Hugo's shoulder. "But how?" "You have to think about it yourself." Jefferson stared at Hugo, begging him to say what he wanted but still, Hugo remained silent. Jefferson's hands were scared, he panicked, his eyes filled with tears again. Hugo was surprised, did such a small thing stress his little bunny? “Hey hey,” Hugo said, touching Jefferson's chin gently. At first Hugo thought that Jefferson was faking again, but as soon as Hugo rubbed his cheek, Jefferson gasped in surprise and backed away. He was so scared that he crashed into the hearboard and made a loud noise that sounded quite painful. Hugo came closer then hugged Jefferson. "Hey, there was nothing to worry about, you and do anything you wanted to prove it." Hugo rubbed

Jefferson tried to control his breathing to sound as calm as possible so that the person did not suspect that Jefferson was pretending to be asleep and listening to all his movements. He walked toward Jefferson and stopped just a few steps near him. He was silent for a few moments. Jefferson felt that he was watching Jefferson for a moment, then he heard the loud sound of plastic scraping. That person seemed to have placed something on the table beside Hugo's bed. After that, Jefferson heard the sound of quick footsteps, he sounded hurried, and his steps got further away; looks like he was walking to the door. Jefferson opened his eyes, intending to see who it was, but it was too late; he only saw Hugo's bedroom door slowly closing. And after that, Jefferson was back alone. Jefferson glanced at the table, and he found a plastic bag. Jefferson was curious; he got up slowly while wincing against the pain he felt in his back. Jefferson breathed a sigh of relief after he manag

No one could imagine Hugo's excitement that the day he had been waiting for had finally come. Hugo bit and kissed Jefferson's neck and chest, leaving a red mark while still holding Jefferson's hand high up. Jefferson stretched; he still didn't give up while Hugo looked at each of them with satisfaction. Hugo removed the remaining clothes from their bodies; that annoying barrier was no longer there. Jefferson was still groaning, but now he was moaning a lot more, which was good for Hugo. Hugo hugged him tightly; he stroked Jefferson's hair and kissed his forehead. “I’m going to put it in, Jefferson. It will hurt But don't worry, and the pain won't last long.” Jefferson could no longer hold himself. His body shook and jerked repeatedly: he, too, was feeling the pleasure. Jefferson looked up as Hugo moved his waist back and forth, it was too much for him, and his head started to spin. Hugo lifted Jefferson's leg and put it on his shoulder, and Jefferson could feel him going back an
