Caleb
“Well then, Caleb, when did you get home?” Nate asked me as soon as I got into the coffee shop.
“Mate, I’ve not even clocked in for my shift yet, and you are questioning me,” I said, laughing as I went to go through the back.
“I just want details before the lunchtime rush comes in,” He said, staring at me with raised eyebrows.
“I will tell you what I can when I come back through Mr Nosey!” I smiled then went through the door to the backroom.
I knew I shouldn’t have told Nate what I was doing yesterday as he would not leave me alone until I gave him details. I could feel myself grinning whilst getting ready to go out to start my shift. I don’t mind talking about Scarlett, though. I go back through and find the coffee shop has got busy in the ten minutes I was through the back.

Scarlett I was finishing off getting ready for my dinner with PJ. I was dreading it, but I never had a choice. He is not the kind of man you say no to. I was not getting too dressed up, though, because I had work after, and I didn’t want him thinking I was making a special effort for him. I don’t need to add to his delusions. I felt guilty going out with another man when things were going so well between Caleb and me. I need to do everything I can to get through this night.I was hoping to have called Caleb before my shift, but now I never had time because of PJ. I would need to wait until my break.I still can’t believe he is making me go out for dinner before having a long night at work. I should be sleeping right now instead of getting ready to meet PJ. I’ve only had five hours of sleep because I couldn’t stop thinking about this dinner, so it took me a while to doze of
CalebI never heard much from Scarlett last night; she only called me once when she got her first break but didn’t stay on the phone for long. She did say she would get in touch when she wakes from her sleep after a night shift. I suppose I will just need to wait until later to speak to her. I may as well get myself showered and a coffee to start a relaxing day off.The postman has been early today. I don’t usually get post until eleven a.m. I picked up the envelope and headed through to the kitchen to make myself a coffee. I tossed the envelope on the counter, and that’s when I noticed it was handwritten with no stamp.Strange, I don’t usually get hand-delivered mail. I was so carried away thinking about the envelope that I stirred my coffee so much it started to spill.Shit, why is this bothering me so much? I grabbed my coffee and mail and went to the living room to sit down.
ScarlettCaleb and I walked around for a good half an hour, so it was time for a break.“Let’s take a seat, baby boy,” I said, nodding over to the giant oak tree.He smiled, nodded his head, and we went and sat down under the tree. He had been reticent, which isn’t like him. I sensed something wasn’t right, but I never said anything. If he wanted to tell me, he would. I am not exactly honest with him about the marks on my neck.“Caleb, babe, are you sure you are OK?” I asked softly, resting my head on his shoulder.“Just tired, beautiful, that’s all,” He said, slipping his arm around my shoulder.“You just seem a lot quieter than usual, like something is playing on your mind,” I said quietly.“Honestly, babe, I am doing OK, just tired; I
PJI knew that following Caleb would give me more answers than asking Scarlett. She has definitely been keeping quite a lot of information from me. I have always liked Scarlett, but she has been very sneaky about this job, making me angrier and angrier. It was so boring having to sit in that coffee shop, but it was the only way I would ever find out what was happening between them both. I still don't think Caleb has clocked on to who I am, that it was me that he saw down by the canal that night they were together.Scarlett has a job to do, and I think she needs to be reminded of that. Plus, I am not letting him take her from me. She was mine first. I had to watch what I was doing, though. I had people that I had to answer to with this job. I can put the fear into Caleb, but only to a certain extent. I wanted to tell Scarlett the truth badly about him because whatever was going on in her head, she would
CalebI was looking forward to my time with Scarlett, but at the same time, I was paranoid, especially after another note came. This one read.Logan, watch your back! This person called me Logan made everything worse because only people who knew that name were the ones I ran from, which means someone from my past knows where I am. I have been on edge since I received it. I was trying to forget because I never wanted it to ruin my time with Scarlett. I had not told anyone because if I did, I would need to tell them my past, which is the last thing I want.Right now, I need to try and forget about the note and just concentrate on my weekend with Scarlett. Yes, we are spending the weekend with each other as we both have it off. I was still unsure what our plans were as we were going to wait and see what would happen. I should probably give her a message and see if sh
ScarlettWe headed out the front door, which took a while as we just couldn’t keep our hands to ourselves. Not like I am complaining in the slightest. I enjoy every second with him.“So where do you want to go then, good looking?” I asked Caleb as I locked the door behind us.“Since it’s dry out, we could get some food to snack on and go to the park and sit, like having a picnic.” He spoke.“That’s a great idea, Caleb. I would love to do that,” I smiled.“Fantastic, let’s go to the shop and get our picnic supplies,” He smiled before placing his hand on my cheek and giving me a tender kiss, and then he started walking away.Ohh, he knows how to tease me. I wanted more of that kiss he just gave me, but he is having none of it just now. There is always later. We stopped
Caleb We arrived back at Scarlett's apartment, and she rushed us in, and I closed the door behind us. As soon as I turned around, she grabbed the belt of my jeans, pulled me close and crashed her lips to mine. She was quick to push my jacket from my shoulders, and I did the same to hers, and our lips never parted once. I have never felt such a strong desire in the way I am feeling it right now."I want you so fucking badly, Caleb, more than I have ever wanted anyone," Scarlett purred.&
Scarlett“Hurry up and get in this shower, Mr,” I said to Caleb.I was leaning around the bathroom door before turning and jumping into the warm shower. I love the feeling of warm, clean water running over my body, but I might prefer Caleb touch to my body more.“I’m here,” Caleb said, smirking at me.“Get in and wash my back,” I said, turning my back towards the entrance to the shower.“Now that is one fine arse,” Caleb said as he came in the shower to join me.The first thing he did was start to caress my rear end, which I am not complaining about as it felt amazing. I haven’t felt this at ease in such a long time. I hope nothing ever ruins this thing we have.“Mmm, easy baby, we are supposed to be getting cleaned, not dirty again,” I giggled.&nb
Scarlett I don’t understand what is happening. Why is my head all fuzzy, and why do I feel so out of it? I don’t even remember what I was doing, but it feels like I’m sitting down, maybe in a chair, but my hands feel really tight. I can hear voices in the distance, so maybe someone can help me if I call out. I tried to shout, but all that came out was a noise of some sort. I was definitely gagged. I couldn’t stop thinking, what was going on? Footsteps were getting closer to me, and my fuzzy head and brain fog was beginning to clear. The last thing I can recall was standing at the boot of my car, looking for a map. Caleb, where is Caleb? What on earth is going on here? “Hello, sweetness, did you miss me?” I hear a familiar voice laugh. PJ! He did this to me! I started st
Caleb We pulled up outside of Scarlett’s place, both on edge and looking around.“Right, let’s get in here quickly and get what I need,” Scarlett said.We had one last look around, and everything seemed clear. We rushed in, but when we got there, her front door was kicked in.“Stay behind me,” she said. She took the gun from her back, holding it in position, and we cautiously made our way in. The place was trashed! The home was ransacked. We walked around checking the place one room at a time to ensure that nobody was there. The place was a mess.“We are all good. No one is here.” Scarlett said.“OK, let’s get your stuff and get out of here,” I replied.“I’m not sure that anything has been taken
Scarlett I hadn’t slept a wink, and the sun was starting to rise. I hadn’t slept because I was on edge all night. I was scared in case someone found us, but on top of that, I was nervous because I didn’t know what Caleb was going to do. Is he going to leave me?I have sat on the sofa all night, only moving when needed.“Scarlett, will you please come to bed and try to get some sleep?” I hear from behind me.“I am fine,” I said, not looking at him.“Scarlett, get your ass into bed and get some sleep, or God help me, I will come over there, toss you over my shoulder and carry you there,” he said firmly.I just sat there staring at the wall. I wasn’t ignoring him on purpose; I was just stuck in a daze. Then I heard a throat clearing next to me, my headshot round in one d
Caleb“Scarlett, I know we have literally just got into the room, but can we talk now?” I asked.“Yes, we can,” she smiled. “I’m going to make a cuppa tea. Then we can talk. Do you want one?” Scarlett asked.“Yes, please, that would be nice,” I answered.I’m not sure if she is trying to stall this chat we are meant to be having, but she is filtering about a lot.“Do you want sugar, Caleb? She asked.“Yes, please, I’ll have two.” I smiled at her.I can feel myself getting more and more anxious as I wait for her to come over. I don’t want her to feel betrayed by me because I haven’t told her the truth about my past before now.She came over and sat down the tea before si
Scarlett I knew it was probably PJ that sent someone here, but I was not letting him or any of his people get to Caleb. Once I knew Caleb was down on the ground and safe, I crawled over to the window and looked out. I could see only one person, and they were reloading their gun. I knew this was the best for me to take my shot.I lined my gun up where I needed it, resting my hand on the trigger. I had to breathe for a moment because it had been a while since I had used a gun and shot someone.I’ve never been a fan of having to shoot anyone, but I can’t let this go. I can’t allow this person to leave or get away with shooting towards Caleb. I don’t even know if he has been hurt. I will check him over as soon as I’m finished here.Still aiming at the exact same spot, I saw the figure move, so I gently began squeezing my trigger finger until it was f
CalebPulling Scarlett in closer to me was the best feeling. Our lips stayed locked as our hands started moving all over each other’s bodies. Scarlett’s hands crept up my back to my hair, her hands roughly pulling through my hair, making me want to go in rougher.“Caleb, I have missed this a lot.” Scarlett panted out as she pulled back from me.“Me too,” I replied as I began unbuttoning my polo shirt.Watching Scarlett begin to undress as I was also undressing was making me harder by the second.I was expecting her to run when she knew the truth. How wrong was I? Item by item, our clothing came off and got dropped on the floor until we were in nothing but our underwear. I grabbed her panties, using them to bring her closer to me. I growl, feeling her skin on mine again.I lift her swift
ScarlettI was nervous as I waited for Caleb to speak because that meant I needed to tell him the truth about me too. He took a deep breath."My name isn't Caleb. My real name is Logan," He said, "I changed my name when I moved here because I needed to disappear," He added.I knew his real name, but I would let him tell me everything."I ran away from London because my life was in danger, and I fucked up big time," He said, "I got in with the wrong people at a very young age because I didn't have anyone else," He added.I just looked at him with no expression. I observed his body language to try and read if what he was saying was true, and so far, I believe everything."I have a lot of people after me, Scarlett, and I thought coming up here to Sco
CalebI just sat on a chair at the table with my head in my hands and a warm cup of instant coffee next to me. I really wish it didn't need to come to this, I didn't want to leave Scarlett, but I was out of options. I feel like all I have done since I left is think about what I have had to leave behind, mainly Scarlett.I'm not sure how long I'm going to be able to hide out here for, but I do have enough supplies to do me at least two weeks and a handful of books to read.I wish there were a way to contact people back home, but I worry that the people after me could be watching them. This isn't the first time I have been on the run, and usually, I just get on with it, but it was different now. I had friends. I had Scarlett. I had a life, unlike those other times. I now remember why I don't let people close because your past always catches up eventually and puts those who we care about
Scarlett I pace as I wait for PJ to get here. I hear my door open, and he walks in. I waited until he was in sight.“Where the fuck is he? What did you do to him? What did you say?” I hiss.“I don’t know what you mean,” He said smugly.“Caleb! Where the fuck is he? Do not mess me around, PJ, because I am not in the damn mood,” I bark.“For someone who apparently doesn’t care, you sure are angry,” He said.I was not in the mood for his bullshit!“Stop messing with me PJ, tell me where he is!!” I shouted.“Calm down, crabby pants,” he laughed, “I don’t even know why you think I have anything to do with this.” He flung himself down on my couch and grinned at me.“PJ, how am I
