Promises

Just when he thought he had it all, Mark was hanging on a thin thread, he's made his promise, and claims to be a man of his word and yet... This woman seems to be threatening his happiness just when he thought he had it.

Without much thought to it, Mark grinds his teeth and angrily makes a call.

"Yes boss," the man from earlier responds much to Mark's detest despite being the one who called.

"That woman, where did you find her from?" He asks.

There's a moment of silence, followed by whispers as he hears his subordinates whisper in confusion amongst themselves.

"Can someone answer me!" He yells.

"Um, sir, you see she was referred to us by the weapon dealer you've been frequent with, you were the one who asked us to reach out to him for a hand," they respond.

Mark turns red with anger as he roars, "Make sure that women never set foot in the hideout, or I will have your head!"
