Broken Promises.

The gravity of the circumstance lingered heavily in the air as Leia stood there, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. She could feel the weight of the realisation pressing down on her stomach like a rock descending to the ocean floor as the room appeared to grow colder.

To calm herself down, she squeezed her eyes shut and took a quiet, deep breath. She then raised her hand to dab the tiny tears that had begun to form in the corners of her eyes with the pad of her thumb. She cocked her head upward and caught his contrite stare.

Mark remarked, his voice tinged with remorse, "I want just you to be the mother of my children, you and nobody else my love." The maid lowered her head, her pain visible on her features as she had been standing close by.

Leia's heart broke a little for her, but she was aware that she needed to keep her attention on the man in front of her.

With a stern yet sorrowful tone, Leia retorted, "You can't undo what you've already done. You owe it to the unborn child
