XLVIII: Mr. President, I'll Always Be With You!

A knock on the door breaks the silence in William's room.

It's been three days since the last time he saw Vincent. Ever since then, William isolated himself in his bedroom, rarely making a presence. He occasionally skips his meal too. For the past three days, he only eats once or twice a day. He simply just doesn't have the appetite.

For the past three days, he avoided Elena too. He doesn't have an idea if she's still mad about what she saw or if it somehow subsides. He doesn't know if his parents are still angry at him but he's sure that he's still gravely disappointed with him.

But what concerns him the most is Vincent. He wonders if he's finally feeling better even just for a bit. Seeing him would only make Vincent upset so he didn't dare to come to his place to check on him.

William got distracted from his thoughts when a series of knocks sounded again. Then he heard a little voice behind his closed door. "Big brother William? This is me, Alphonse
