Tania's POV

As I leaned in for the kiss with Talon, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction in the fact that it would annoy Riya, but as our lips touched, a jolt of excitement ran through my body. An excitement that I wasn't expecting.

I found myself enjoying the sensation of Talon's lips on mine and feeling a rush of pleasure that made my heart race. It was as if I was experiencing a moment of pure bliss that I didn't want to end.

Despite my initial intention, I couldn't deny the fact that the kiss had stirred something inside me that I hadn't felt before. It was a mixture of happiness, excitement, and a hint of nervousness that I couldn't explain.

But I wanted to remain there. In his arms. I wanted to savor his lips like I was eating a meal and luxuriate in the warmth of his embrace. The combination is something that I have never experienced. It was more thrilling than I wanted it to be. The kiss. It was something that I thought of doing so that Riya would be pained but the

Tania's POV"What did you say?" I asked, confusion, surprise and everything in between glaring brightly in my face."I said I liked it. Do it again," Talon repeated. Now I know that he was serious about what he said. The first thing I did was to look around me and yeah, we were still outside. I flexed my hands around our surroundings, reminding him that we didn't magically appear inside the house and he gave me that and-so look which in turn reminded me of his personality. I have just known him for a few days but I can't forget that he has this bold and daring attitude that makes him look untouchable and unfiltered and also attractive at the same time.Focus, Tania. Now is not the time to think about how attractive this man is."We are outside, Talon," I told him, my eyes widened in consternation."But you did it before and we did it outside. So why can't we do it again?" He folds his arms on his chest, his face lifted slightly upwards as he stares down at me.Right now I was thinking

  • Saved by the rogue alpha   Chapter 49 The kiss

Talon's POVI led Tania back into my room. I can feel her gaze penetrate into me as I stand before her. I know that so many things are running through her mind, nervousness and anxiety, but I am here to help her with it. If only she could understand what I felt when she kissed me like that. It was unexplainable -- words could not explain it. It was surreal but what made it more exciting was the fact that it happened without a sign.I am not usually like this around women. I was not the type to ask a woman to kiss me again after the first one, but here I was with Tania, this strange woman that I had saved from the forest, this strange woman that I have only known for a few days, this strange woman that was nothing but my guest but I couldn't let her go. How long has it been? 2 days? 3 days? And yet I was craving for the lips of this woman.I could still feel the softness of her lips on mine even though I was just staring at her and she at me. I didn't want to rush the process, I was go

Talon's POVI feel the excitement that courses through my body the moment I heard her say those words. So plain but yet so effective. She wants to feel the hardness of me.She loves what it is doing to her body.It makes me want to yank her up to my waist and lead her to the bed. It makes me want to show her other things that I am capable of doing. I wanted to make her feel more than my hardness but the tingles her body would experience if I kissed her on the stomach and flick my tongue around her navel. I wanted to show her the different kinds of sounds that would escape her lips when she finds my mouth on her cherry licking and sucking on every delicate part I find there. But then again, I didn't want to rush. I wanted to take my time and kiss her. I wanted to take my time and savor the softness of her lips and also I wanted to take my time and give her the memorable first kiss that she deserves."Talon," she breathed into my mouth. "Yes.""I want more," she pleads. Her voice goes

Talon's POVTania pulled herself up to sit, adjusting herself with her elbow and then pulling back her dress upwards to her chest to cover her breasts. She held her dress tightly to her chest and bowed her head in coyness."I'm sorry, Talon. I don't think I'm ready yet. I just don't--""It's okay," I cut in. "I already knew you weren't ready. I just wanted you to be sure of it yourself," I say to her, my eyes betrayed me as I fixated it on her breasts which appeared squeezed under her arms. I imagined that instead of her arms, it was mine compressing them, except that it won't be squashed out of anxiety but with repose.Oh my thoughts. Get hold of yourself, Talon. Now is not the time to fantasize about these things, this is the time for a conversation.I cleared my throat and continued. "You don't have to worry about anything. If there is anything you will like to talk about, I'm right here," I urged, trying my best to make sure that she is as comfortable as she can be."Somehow I fe

Talon's POVI stayed with Tania for a little while, making sure that she was calm and more relaxed, and then I offered to go prepare something for her."I'll leave you to freshen up while I go downstairs to get something for you to eat. How about that?" I offer."That will be fine. But we still have to talk about my stay here after that. I don't think it's right for me to live in the same room as you. You are an Alpha and I am sure that people will start talking when they see that their alpha is dwelling in the same room with a woman," Tania said. Sometimes I wonder why so many things seem to bother her. "That is what you think. There is nothing wrong with a man and woman living in the same room. I am an Alpha and I can do whatever I want. Stop thinking about these things and go and have a bath, okay?" I stood up to my feet and then I said to her, "I'll tell the maidens to prepare something for you to eat. Would you like to eat downstairs or here?""Here will be better please. Thank

  • Saved by the rogue alpha   Chapter 53 Bandits in the land

Talon's POVThis was not the first occurrence of robbery in Ascot and as such, it wasn't a thing of surprise to me. Considering how small and developing the land was, bandits and thugs from neighboring kingdoms would take advantage and invade the land, stealing and making away with anything they can lay their hands on. It has been going on like this for years and The Pack had been doing everything possible to curb the situation.I felt a twinge of frustration as I heard the boy complain. I could see the helplessness and fear in his eyes -- and that wasn't what I wanted for the people. I have always wanted to create a comfortable environment for the people -- I wanted them to know how it feels to sleep with two eyes closed and not be afraid of anything. Unfortunately that feeling wasn't entirely present in Ascot, it made me think of Crescida; a kingdom without bandit infestation. That is how powerful Crescida, my father land, was -- the difference between Crescida and other kingdoms is

Tania's POVI walked out of the bathroom after having a bath to hear constant knocks on the door. It couldn't have been Talon -- I mean, why would he knock on his own door? Maybe it was Riya. I was so ready if she was indeed the one.I hurriedly dabbed my towel on my body and put on a robe -- just in case a fight was going to ensue -- I didn't want to be the one prepared for a brawl only to be disgraced. With a frown on my face, I made my way to the door, prepared for a verbal battle with my enemy and expecting to see her smug face. But to my surprise, I was met with a young maiden instead. She had a timid look on her face and was holding a tray containing food. Her presence caught me off guard, and for a moment, I couldn't say anything. She was tall and had long, curly hair that fell gracefully on her shoulders. Her bright smile was contagious, and I couldn't help but smile back at her."Hello," she said, her voice sweet and melodious. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but I was asked to br

Tania’s POVI was glad that Penelope was comfortable with me calling her by the name Penny, it was like I had a sense of belonging with her and I was so eager to get to know more about her.‘’Alright then,’’ I said, adjusting comfortably on the bed. I didn’t realize how much I’d been holding back before now but I felt relieved as soon as I freed myself. Maybe it was tension – tension of what exactly? I guess it was just me being nervous since I didn't know what to expect. "Tell me about yourself, Penny. Tell me more about this place, about the culture and every other thing that comes to your mind.’’Penny rolled her eyes and replied, ‘’Okaaaay…’’ dragging the words as it escaped her mouth and I knew at that moment that she was going to say something else. ‘’I am going to tell you everything you want to know but first,’’ she holds up her index finger in the air and then continues, “you are going to eat your food. Maybe while you’re at it, I will answer your curiosity.’’‘’I actually f

Tania's POVFor the first time in seven years I felt like I belonged. Crescida, a land which was my worst nightmare before, had become a place similar to home. All these were made possible because of our determination to get things right and I am grateful for it.Talon and I strolled through the kingdom of Crescida, the cobblestone streets beneath our feet echoing with each step. Tall stone buildings and intricately carved archways lined our way, whispering tales of the kingdom's storied past.As we wandered, the ambiance shifted. The air grew cooler, carrying with it the scent of moss and damp earth. We followed a meandering path that led us away from the town, guided by the whispers of rustling leaves and the distant sound of flowing water.Soon, we found ourselves ascending a rugged mountain, its slopes adorned with ancient trees and lush vegetation. Tania's POVI could hardly believe my eyes as we breached the gates of Crescida. The sight that awaited us in the city square was heart-wrenching and ignited an inferno of rage within me. There, in the center, stood Talon, my lover, the leader of Ascot and beacon of hope for my people's freedom, bound to a stake, his body marked by cruel lashes.
