She turned her head to bury it further into her pillow when she realized she did not feel the softness of a pillow but instead heard rustling, crunching, and what felt like little needles poking her. As she began to wake up more she realized that her whole body felt sore and that she felt more little needles, rustling, and crunching as she stretched and moved her legs. Opening her eyes, Emily realized that she was laying on the forest floor.
Sitting up quickly and looking around she did not see anyone, but she did see the large bloody carcass of some animal about fifteen feet from where she was laying. Emily looked down to see if she was injured and saw that she was completely naked. Emily was relieved that the trip back to the valley was uneventful for her and Rica. Emily was pretty sure that she broke a couple records while rushing to get ready. The whole time her stomach was growling and grumbling urging her to move faster so she could get something to eat. Within her forty five minute time frame she was able to take a much needed shower. She was still embarrassed thinking about how she had been walking around with so much blood still all over her. Emily really thought in her mind that more of it had been removed with her shifting and everything. After lunch the majority of their group went their separate ways. Samuel went back to helping with training, and Marcus returned to work. Emily really enjoyed the rest of her afternoon that she got to spend shopping with Breanna. She was glad that Gabriel had left though. The fourth store that they went to had been a lingerie store. While she did need to pick up underwear and bras, Emily could only imagine what Gabriel would have thought or started picking up while they were in there. She was used to more simple and functional underwear. The lingerie store that they went to did not have much, well anything, along the lines of just simple and functional. They ended up leaving that shore with four bags alone. As soon as Emily and Rica passed through the main entrance they were shocked by the site that greeted them on the other side of the mountain. Everywhere that they looked there were hunters and wolves fighting. Rica quickly ran over and pulled two hunters off of an older looking large wolf that had several big gashes on his right side. “She’s waking up,” Emily heard a femine voice yelling right before she heard the pounding up feet and then her hand being held tightly. “Emily. Emily wanted to close her eyes as she heard the gun fire, but she found that she couldn’t look away. Knowing that you are about to die is a funny thing. It is almost like time stands still. You have all of the time in the world to think about things, but in reality everything happens within seconds. An hour later everyone had made it to their assigned locations as far as Emily knew. She was waiting with Gabriel, Hunter, Agatha, and the rest of their core group. Always worried about an attack Gabriel was making sure to keep Emily blocked by him, Hunter, Samuel, and Axel, but they were also trying to keep it from looking obvious at the same time. Emily and Rica tried not to roll their eyes at the guys worrying about protecting them. She also knew that there were warriors all around them even though she could not see them. A few of the witches like Breanna, Agatha, and others could aparate warriors as needed, but due to the numbers needed, Gabriel and the others decided to find another way to have warriors able to be in multiple locations unseen. The solution that they found was a small charm that would allow the warriors to be invisible for up to four hours.
