Immediately the mind link ended, I picked up the knife that had fallen from. My hand the moment that I had heard that Kayden was after me. Mantha was in front of me, breathing heavily as she sweated profusely.

"Did... Did your....your perfect plans go wrong?" She asked me mockingly while trying to still keep up with her brave font.

"You bitch! You.... You definitely told Kayden about this, didn't you?!" I yelled at her, grabbing her neck tightly and trying to strangle her to death.

I let go of her neck and looked around the place for the heavy metal object I was going to use to hit her. I did not know why I would have to do that when I could simply just use the injection on her but then I believed that Davis knew better.
